I don´t know how google drive show my site - google-drive-api

Sorry my english is very basic. I'm spanish
I created a folder in my google drive and uploaded the site, but i cannot see main page.
Where is my mistake to make it visible?
Thanks for your help
My site is http://gdriv.es/hermaja

When I clicked on index.html.old file, i see your web site. But you can not display it directly on google drive because it is only file storage service. You need at least your own host.
Edit: Also you cannot display your index.php file since your site is not stored in suitable environment for php projects.

Google Sites HTML export keeps redirecting to live site

I was trying to export a Google Site I made for a project. I used wget to spider through every page and to download the html files and linked content. When I try to open "index.html" in Chrome, it does open the local HTML file, but it redirects me to the live version immediately after.
Is there anyway I could modify the HTML code so that it won't head straight to the actual website? I just want to have a local copy of it for reference, and I don't want to store it on Drive.
As the HTML file is too big to type out, I have provided it on Pastebin here.
.
You need a better question. No website works offline, or they do if you download all the files to your user’s computer so the user can view it offline. But at some point they had to visit it online to get it.
Or you save it as an html site and hand it to them on a USB drive. That’s offline to that extent. But then it’s not really a website, its an html file.
Or otherwise, if you need a website for your school which can be used by anyone through internet / intranet, you have two options -
1. Create and host a website in an online server
. a. You have to buy space and deploy a server yourself.
. b. They will a run website in their webserver for you. You just need to give money
2. Deploy a webserver in the school's any one machine and get it in other machines.
Rephrase the question for a better answer.

Generate a URL for Google Drive publicly shared files and access them

I have a collection of PDF files on a Google Drive. I have shared them and I want to be able to link to them from a list on a web site. What I'd like to be able to do is work out the file name of the PDF using information in the list. As a simple example, if my list contains items 1, 2 and 3 I'd like to be able to upload PDF files 1.PDF 2.PDF and 3.PDF to Google Drive then have the web site just link to those when a link is clicked and show the PDF files in the browser.
So, I guess I could do this just by uploading the PDF to Google Drive and manually adding a link to PDF on the web site. However, what I want to do is generate the link programmatically so that when I have, say, 50 PDF files I don't have to keep getting the link from Google Drive and adding it to the web site. The site should just work out that item 50, say, in the list will link to 50.PDF, for example.
I've tried to get the file id using the API but that requires the authorization token to be generated and manual intervention to take place, so that won't work. At least, not at the point where the file is viewed because the viewer is anonymous.
So my questions are:
Is it possible to work out what a file name will be on the drive using just something like an item number in a list?
I guess that there are maybe some other options - for example, when I add the items to the list on the web site programmatically, I could go and locate the google drive file manually using a web application and link it using the file id at that point. I could store the ID in a database - however, would any anonymous user then be able to just click on the file link on the web site and view the file?
Finally, can anyone think of another way to do this?
Any help would be appreciated! :)
Is it possible for you to use a service account? You can authorize the app with an account dedicated to your app and user doesn't need to authorize and authenticate. The files you will be uploading will be managed under the service account's Drive.
You can learn more about service accounts on https://developers.google.com/accounts/docs/OAuth2ServiceAccount
If you have implementation specific questions, please ask.

Provide preview for custom files in Google Drive

I've developed a Google Drive app called VideoNot.es (http://videonot.es).
When users try to open files directly from Drive, without installing the Chrome app, it shows up an overlay saying "No preview". In consequence, they don't really understand how to open it with my app and I have to explain that they need to go to Manage Apps and make VideoNot.es the default app for this kind of files.
How can I improve this flow?
Thanks for your help!
Provide a file thumbnail, it should appear on the file preview if Google Drive can't render a thumbnail itself. Details are on https://developers.google.com/drive/file at the "Uploading thumbnails" section.

Determine if a certain File is process by a project that uses Google Drive API

Good day! I am currently developing a website using Google Drive API. However, I am wondering if is it possible to know if a certain file is created/uploaded/shared by the project using an App Id. I was thinking if it is belong to the attributes of a file. But, when i checked, it seems that, there's no such thing.
What I am trying to do, is to filter the files' shared by the other user to the owner of the account using my web site. Is it possible? Any suggestions on how to do it?
Thank you in advance.
File metadata doesn't contain this information unfortunatelly, therefore you can't know if some file was created by your app or not. But FYI Google store it somewhere, if you will try to upload somefile without providing its content type (* / *) and after that try to open this file through browser you will see the message:
No preview available
This item was created with YourAppName, a Google Drive app.
Download this file or use one of the apps you have installed to open it.

Uploaded file sometimes doesn't appear on the Google Drive web page

I've observed a strange behavior of Google Drive when I uploaded several files in a row to Google Drive by calling Google Drive APIs.
Everything seems working properly, I can get correct response back from API, such as file ID and URL. But when I looked into the folder where I uploaded files by web browser, files are sometimes missing.
This issue can be resolved by accessing the following URL which should not be necessary.
https://docs.google.com/file/d/<file ID>/edit
Could it be a Google Drive bug?
I've had the same problem. Usually the file would appear after some time. But sometimes not at all!
I've also noticed discrepancies between files shown in the web UI and files shown in the Google Drive directory on my PC. I would chalk this up to Drive's bugs.
Google drive still does this.
Files can take a long time to appear on the web gui. Similarly deleted files can remain on the web gui for a long time (and you get an error if you click on them).
I would really love a way to make drive more responsive.
İf you are uploading your files inside a folder then this might cause a problem. Make sure that parent folder exists for the file that you upload.
