How to create a user account profile with django (front end) - html

I have an ongoing project that i am building with the DJANGO webframework. I have successfully created a registration page and upon successful registration and login;
Where i need your help
When a user logs-in into his account, I want that user to be able to see his account, profile and recent actions.(NB: from the front end and not the Django admin end)
Is it advisable to have 2 different apps, and i want to associate the user input submitted on one app to a registered user on the other app?

Django userena can be used to save and display user profile and it can be customized for our needs(to display account information and recent actions).
Django multi-database routing concept can be used to share users and sessions across projects. It is explained more clearly here.

User specific information upon loin

I am looking to make a website whereby a user will be able to login and register. Once registered and logged in I would like for them to see a list of their own customers and carry out some functionally configured to the user (e.g send an SMS from their registered phone number).
I have seen plenty of tutorials on how to implement both login and register functionality. But I have no idea how to make the information shown be specific to each customer?
Can someone assist by pointing me in the right direction for something like this? Or even a template that may already have it done?
So fair I have been able to create a very basic site (localhost) that has a user login and registration form.
Sending SMS from website is done with paid services, you can search some of them.
User specific website is done for example by using PHP. For example you have form for registration and then save the data into a database. Next time the user comes, you offer him login form, if he logs in succesfuly, you now know who the user is and offer some content according to the user. For example (simplified) you will have a folder named "Peter" and in this folder you will have informations about Peters customers. And if Peter logs in, you offer him data from this folder.

Flask - Retrieve Steam ID

I'm working on a Flask project and would like users to be able to connect one or more Steam accounts to their profile on the website. The user is not logging into my website with their Steam account, they are just registering a Steam account to a pre-existing profile on my site, so I'm not sure if I should be using OpenID or not.
I would like for there to be some way for the user to enter their Steam username, be shown a corresponding account, and register the account to their profile. Or alternatively, there is a button that takes the user to a Steam Login page, which redirects back to my website after logging in and passing back the needed data. I'm not picky how, I just need to somehow get the ID associated with a Steam account.
Everything I've found so far has been for logging into a website using a Steam account. I assume the process would be similar, and maybe easier, to just get back an ID based on user input, but so far I've had no luck.
Thanks for your help

What is the intended use case for app auth and app users?

I am trying to understand what is the intended use case for app auth and app users. Im basically thinking about building an app that would use Box to store data of users that would subscribe to our service. Our service would allow each user to access and view their data.
If I have an account that basically owns the data of all the subscribed users, can I use the enterprise access token as a base for authentication while using the user account token to restrict the user to only viewing the data from their specific sub directory. Or do I have to have a unique account with its own api key for every user?
I hope this makes sense. Any assistance would be appreciated.
Thanks.
App Auth and App Users -- which is officially called Box Platform -- is essentially a white-labeled version of Box. I think of it this way: "Box" as we know it is software-as-a-service. It offers a web app, mobile apps, and all the trimmings. Box Platform is the platform layer upon which the SaaS is built, providing API-based management of users/content/comments/collaborations/etc. With Box Platform you have a walled garden in which you can build apps that leverage all the features of the APIs, but are not otherwise "Box apps."
I'm basically thinking about building an app that would use Box to store data of users that would subscribe to our service. Our service would allow each user to access and view their data.
This is an appropriate use case. With Box Platform you will be the owner and administrator of a Box enterprise and all the accounts and data contained within.
If I have an account that basically owns the data of all the subscribed users, can I use the enterprise access token as a base for authentication while using the user account token to restrict the user to only viewing the data from their specific sub directory. Or do I have to have a unique account with its own api key for every user?
I think it's generally cleanest to create unique accounts for each user as opposed to giving users a special subdirectory in the admin account. From there you can use the App Auth workflow to get an access token specific to that user.

conditional display of data in asp.net mvc layout

In an ASP.NEt MVC application, how is it possible to display some conditional data to a layout page?
My application allows a user with a role of "Admin" to view the other user's pages and data from the same application. When the Admin views the pages of another user he/she needs to see the information of the user like his name/role/etc whose data he/she is viewing ( this information comes from the DB) . This info needs to be shown in all the pages when an Admin User is logged in and ONLY when an ADmin is logged in. i.e, if a user who is not Admin enters these details should not be shown as it is not relevant.
The issue iam facing in my attempts is that the Admin user does not login to the user's page, instead I have to achieve this feature of switching to the users view by clicking on a list/grid of users. This takes me to the home page of the user (and i get the inforamtion displayed since i set it in viwbag) .Question is, how do i set this value in the subsequent user pages of this session. Trying to avoid filling this viewbag value in every controller/action.
Please help!
PS: The information that needs to be displayed in the layout is based on the user's ID that the Admin selects from the grid. It commes from the DB.
You could write the user id to a cookie and use a action filter to check for this cookie on requests done by the admin user
