SSRS Multi Column Report - Repeat Group Headers After Column Break - sql-server-2008

I would like a report that has a list of data, and I would like this data in two columns. Some of this data will span across 60+ pages. There are groups within this data, and each level of grouping has a header.
I would like the header to appear at the top of each column, not just on the new page as detailed here:
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc627566(v=sql.100).aspx
Where is the setting to say "Repeat Group Header at the top of each Column"?

If you right click on the header text row and "Insert Row Above", you should be able to see the header repeat with each group. If you have selected the row and "Inserted Row - Outside Group", the value header will only show once.

Put Group header above group instead of beside it in SSRS

I have a report group that currently looks like the image. It has row groups as follows:
It grouped in order like this:
Department
Agent
Year
Month
I have removed the columns with department and agent and year. I would like to put the agent and department above the column headers which repeat on each page along with the agent. I tried putting a row above the headers but you can't merge cells when adding a row above there and agent + department is very long. What I want is shown in 2nd image..I put the expression in a text box in the page header but it just repeats the first value on each page and not the actual value.
How to do? I want it above and not beside to save horizontal space.
Check these previous answers of mine. If they don't help, post the report design including group properties and I'll see what I can do.
Grouping in SSRS?
Repeat Row group on top of table as table headers between every groups in SSRS

SSRS - Report Heading to display in every page for Dynamic Table

I have a RDLC report which is having a Table with different rows having different groups. Also the Column will be displayed dynamically in runtime based on the fields fetched from the Database. How to get the Report Page Header displayed for this Matrix in every page?
So far I have performed below steps:
1) Create table and delete all but 1 column.
2) Add another row above header and delete details row.
3) add matrix in 2nd row and title in the first row.
4) Center aligned the title and set RepeatOnNewPage property to true
5) Set KeepWithGroup property to After and FixData to true
6) Also set Repeat header rows on each page to true
But the header is not displaying in the Next Page, instead it is taking as a single page and displays at the right end top corner. It is not taking as 2 pages to display seperately.

ssrs - repeat tablix at top of every page

I have a report made up of 2 tablix.
The first tablix just has some basic information in it, and is linked to a dataset.
The second tablix is linked to a different dataset and is made up of a lot of rows and spans multiple pages.
All I am looking to do is have the first tablix be displayed at the top of every page.
I cant add it to a header because you can't add a tablix containing data to a header.
I also don't want to just repeat column headers, because I need the entire tablix repeated.
Depending on how your Tablix is set up you could do the following:
• Select Tablix Properties and check column Headers > Repeat Header columns on each page In the grouping pane in advanced mode (click on small black down arrow on far right of grouping pane); select the corresponding (static) item in the row group hierarchy.
• In the properties grid, set RepeatOnNewPage to true and Keep with Group to After

Report group headings not repeating on every page

I have an RDLC report with three tables and associated data sets. In my second table, I cannot get the two 'header' rows to repeat on each printed page. When viewed interactively, each table is on its own page and this isn't a problem. When I switch to print layout, e.g. my second table now spans two pages, and the second page gets no header rows.
Am I missing a setting or something?
ADDED: I do have the 'Repeat Header columns on each page' checked.
http://vbcity.com/blogs/xtab/archive/2010/06/14/what-to-do-when-the-repeatcolumnheaders-property-in-a-tablix-isn-t-working.aspx
That should help you out for getting them to repeat. (some of the time)
I still have an issue where I set the hidden value to an expression for the next group header that some of the time it won't render my group header on the next page. Very annoying. If someone knows of a fix for this please let me know.
Copied from Microsoft Technet Article. Helped me:
To display a static tablix member (row or column) on multiple pages.
On the design surface, click the row or column handle of the tablix data region to select it. The Grouping pane displays the row and column groups.
On the right side of the Grouping pane, click the down arrow, and then click Advanced Mode. The Row Groups pane displays the hierarchical static and dynamic members for the row groups hierarchy and the Column groups pane shows a similar display for the column groups hierarchy.
Click the static member that corresponds to the static member (row or column) that you want to remain visible while scrolling. The Properties pane displays the Tablix Member properties.
In the Properties pane, set RepeatOnNewPage to True.
Repeat this for as many adjacent members as you want to repeat.
Have you ticked "Repeat header rows on each page" on the table properties?
(Right-click the table > properties)

SSRS adding a footer row to a table - CSV output

I have a simple table in SSRS which I am using to create a CSV report.
The output looks like:
a,b,c
1,2,3
4,5,6
where a,b,c are the column headers.
Now my client requires a footer row saying how many records are in the file.
However if I add a row to my table with the required fields in, the output becomes:
a,b,c,records
1,2,3,2
4,5,6,2
instead of:
a,b,c
1,2,3
4,5,6
records,2
Does anyone know how I can achieve the desired effect?
In SSRS 2005, the table control has, by default, three rows. The top one is for a header, the bottom one is for footer, and the middle one is for data. Looking at your example, it appears you dragged the records value into a new column in the middle row, and it automatically added a header for you.
Instead, drag it into the bottom row. You can type "records" into the leftmost column of the footer, and whatever data set field you have for the records count into the 2nd column.
In SSRS 2008, you have the Tablix control. It defaults to a Header row and a Data row. Right-click on the data row, and select Insert Row -> Outside Group - Below. Then you have a footer row that you can add to the same way was in SSRS 2005.
The effect you're trying to achieve is not possible but you can get rid of that column.
Select the row you use as Footer, actually the textbox associated and set the DataElementOutput for that textbox to NoOutput. That row will not be exported in CSV.
This applies to any textboxes in a report.
In SSRS 2008 , Click on the Report Tab on the top menu . Then select "Add Page Footer"
