I want to set a default printer to print the badges for events . I don't know how to set it. As all the users using this application should have a specific printer attached to their PC. Please help me. Thanks in advance.
The furtherest you can go is show the print dialog with JavaScript. You can't set default printers.

I have a silly question but while coding a web page I'm confuse a little time defining the css class name. Would anyone provide me mostly used css class names so that I could not hesitate while making pages.
It would be okay if I got mostly used class while layout page.
I think some css-naming-conventions will help :)
you may start here and search google for more :

I am updating a website, and I used a plugin and it seems now the url has additional part: "#&panel1-1". Is there a way to remove this hash part?
The url of my website is:
http://www.auburn.edu/student_info/nsa/index.html#&panel1-1
I want to change that url to
http://www.auburn.edu/student_info/nsa/index.html
Thank you so much.
According to the demo page for the plugin you can get rid of the hash in the URL by initializing it with:
$('#slider').anythingSlider({{hashTags: false});

I want to send the content of a text area from a webpage to the text area in codepad.org.
How can I do that ?
This and this link did not help in doing this ....
If this is not possible, then how can I use "codepad.org" in other webpages ...... ???
Unless the site has coded specific support for it (which I don't think codepad does), you cannot provide pre-defined values for the form elements, nor can you modify the textarea from your code.
I would create a paste and then embed it into your website using frames and the specific URL it gives you for your new paste.

Take a look at gmail sign up page and look at the birthday and gender field. Please someone show me how to do it. thanks
It is not style that can make like this. This is a image+input box, when you click the image, DIV is generated in javascript populating all the entries within it. The similar example would be like this.

I try to use 960gs and I compare it with Blueprinter . So I would like to know if it is possible to show grid in 960 gs .
for example in blueprinter we add showgrid
thanks
I don't believe there is a built in way to show the grid, though you can use the bookmarklet: 960gridder. Hope that helps.
