Sending tweets to Tumblr - html

I'm setting up a Tumblr blog and i would like to see tweets appear in the stream.
This page:http://www.tumblr.com/docs/en/custom_themes
and this page: http://tumblring.net/how-to-send-your-twitter-updates-to-tumblr-automatically/
seem to suggest its possible, but when i follow those instructions, nothing. I am putting that code within {block:posts}{/block:posts}
Also can find nothing else on the web about it, maybe its an old feature that no longer works?

Add html to a site in a site (proxy)

I imported a web proxy from github known as rhodium on to replit, and, after some editing was satisfied with the results, but i cant seem to add HTML to a site that is proxied. Example: You use rhodium to navigate your way to www.discord.com, but you want HTML added to the page, "yourdomain.example/service/https://discord.com/". I looked at the files and online, but I wasn't able to find a way to edit the index.html of that specific page, but frankly I am extremely new to html. (and to a lot of things web-development).

Any help available?
Based on what i know, you can't. Because of the security parameters. You can't attach or redirect a website which isn't on the same directory/server.
You can, however redirect to that site, inside or outside, freely.

Is there a way to make a non-redirecting search engine?

I'm trying to make a search engine, that will display every website content inside of the website, meaning that the computer won't detect that you even went on the website.
what I have tried:
I have tried to use the fetch function, and it did work, but there were 2 problems:
Only the html code displayed, so there was no css, or is, unless it was in the or tag.
90% of fetched websites returned an error, stating that I needed to enable something in my fetch command, but when I did, no html content popped up.
I've also tried using an api that somebody made, and it did work well, but upon clicking an tag, it redirected you to the actual site
I'm trying to achieve what this website has done, so I can get past website blocking.

Redirecting Posts on Tumblr to Custom Pages

Now before you post one of the many "Add a Page" tutorials I've read, I'm going to say that none of those have helped because not only has Tumblr removed the "Redirect" option on it (courtesy of April 8th, 2015, unfortunately), but the add a page feature does not seem to work when using a custom HTML code--even when you use the "add a page" link that you created and paste it into the link url section provided for the tabs!
Of course, I have also looked at questions on here, but those pertain to loops leading back to the Home page, and do not specify how to have your posts redirected to a specific page. Believe me, I have tried the whole /tagged/yourname URLS under the URL section for the Link, but that is ineffective. I have even tried giving the post a Custom URL and then pasting that URL into the designated link URL section to see if it would pop up under the page but alas, that did not work either. And yes, I've even scoured through the code to find a possible paste solution and have pasted the link into the code directly, but that didn't change anything either as it was just under the "naming" section in the beginning of the code, anyways (should've known that wouldn't work).
If anyone can help me with this issue, or at least understand what I'm even asking, I would be forever grateful.
EFFORT FURTHER EXPLAINED:
Note: the tumblr's /submit URL works, but my attempts on, for eg, a separate art page for posts tagged "somethingart" have been fails.
Redirect: Here's an example of one of the many tutorials I read that has a clear image of where the "redirect" option should be, but of course it's outdated as the edit appearance looks slightly different from that now (you have to scroll down a little).
Okay, so let's move on to the other attempts now although, unfortunately, you're going to have to view them on a google document because apparently, you need to have 10+ reputation to post more than two links (click the link above)!
As for the coding part, well I'm actually a beginner at coding as I've only had two classes last semester (which was a while ago), and that was in C# and the foundations of computer science, so scouring through this code to try and find where I could add something to make it work only gave me a headache in the end (it's really long...).
I think I get you now. As a new account some features are not yet available to you. You will get those features eventually. For now (from what you have in the pictures):
The link (link6 URL) went to home page (or to the error page) most probably because you did not have http:// in the beginning. I said that by assuming how your theme is made based on the picture of 'Theme Options'.
After that is solved, you know the page would not redirect itself to your "tagged/something" page because it is not a "Redirect" page, and you do not have any script to do the redirection (if you do not actually).
Do not worry though, there is a better way; just have the "tagged/something" link directly in your "Link6 URL" option (as in the pictures). You have to put it something like; http://yourblog.tumblr.com/tagged/something.
Let me know if you have any questions?

Images not appearing in Facebook's share link tool

I am having an intermittent issue the Facebook share link function does not pull the the link image from the page. This is happening consistently intermittently, that is, it keeps happening but not for a consistent page, image, style, etc. I can't find any pattern. Pages won't work, and then they will. Most pages work fine at the first attempt, but maybe 5% fail.
Each time it happens I check the URL in the Facebook debug tool, and it finds the article image without problem. Often, after I use the debug tool and then try to share the link again the image is found by Facebook.
The site uses Open Graph tags that check out with the Facebook debug tool.
Here is one example page:
http://zujava.com/must-have-school-supplies
Are there other factors that impact whether an image is pulled along with a URL in Facebook?
Facebook scrapes your page every 24 hours. So on the initial go unless you like the page or send it through the debugger, the image (and other meta data) will not appear.

live content from html to html

I'm using UIWebView to display data from my organization data (publicize and legal), however, for instance, I would only want to pull specific data from the html file rather than pulling the whole URL. e.g. I want to pull the "News" section of the html and I want the user to only stay in that page, not enabling them to go into other parts of the website (e.g. home page, contact us) and allowing them to view the PDF article on the HTML file.
I've asked around and read up on DOM and screen scraping, but it seem that the data pulled are stored in a database instead.
Is there any way that I can pull just the HTML "News" section with the PDF URL into my customized HTML file and that it will be updated live (maybe every 30second it will refresh and pull information from the website so that the content and list of PDF are up to date)(e.g. added in 3new article into the main website, my customize HTML file will also refresh and pull information from website and update my article list)
If anyone can point to me a specific method that allow HTML to HTML data passing (live), that will be great and I can go do more research on it. Currently very lost and confuse as it is my first time doing this. Any help/feedback will be very much appreciated :)
EDIT: For example, google map or google search. I don't want to use the whole google webpage, just taking the important thing that i want like the search result or map display.
This will involve quite a lot of learning on your part - you'll have to learn HTML / the DOM / JavaScript and iOS/UIWebVIew.
Lets leave the live refresh part for now, I'll post another answer or edit to that later on.
That's not going to easy either (check out my earlier posting today on background execution issues that will affect you, unless the update is only to take place in the foreground
iOS Run Code Once a Day)
You will have to do something like this. And note that I've never tried this, nor seen posting of people who have on here, but in theory it should work, but there will be a lot of learning as I've said, and lots of trial and error. Its a big task when you're not familiar with these things.
1) Download the html page and load it in a UIWebView, but that UIWebView is hidden so the user's can't see it.
2) When the page has loaded its dom will be accessable.
3) You can use Javascript to access the DOM and look for the parts you want.
How you inject and run the Javascript in UIWebView can be answered in a separate question (this answer will get too long if all the exact details are included).
4) Remove the parts of the dom you are not interested in. Or use use events to make only those parts you are interested in appear, jQuery can probably help here.
5) Display the UIWebView
Alternatively the HTML could be saved to a file and string parsing could be used to search for the bits you are looking for and create a new text html file from it. I think this would get very messy, better to take advantage of the fact that UIWebView will parse the HTML page and create the dom for you.
