I have a friend that I'm running a website for. When he needs to change text, he has to go through me, and I'm busy, so he has to wait. He has no knowledge of HTML, but I would like to set it up so he can go to a certain page, log in, and edit the page's text at least. I'm thinking maybe to try drupal?

The best solutions would be a CMS like drupal, wordpress or joomla. I have found wordpress to be one of the easiest to use. Once its set up changes are done in a flash.

Quick question: I have seen that having a journal for development, and this could be paper, app, online tool, etc. What I am looking for is either a mac app or online app that I can write in that has multiple diaries that helps me to stay organized and not lose my ideas, or ideas that I have just read.
Thank you for your ideas or what works best for you.

Try Evernote. I have also tried using TiddlyWiki. Evernote and Skitch combination works great.

I want to create a nice (and modern?) site where media will be available for registered users. Audio, video, document, image... some kind of repository.
Users can see and download data.
Does it exist some specific solution?
Almost any CMS nowadays has media library module. Drupal, Wordpress MODx, all of those has it, one way or another.

I'd say I have pretty good grasp of core concepts of html/css/jQuery.
But I still have hard time trying to create a web page where it involves a lot of
use of div containers, making menu bars, and similar layouts.
There are some systems to help simplify layout, or at least prototype them. For example, http://960.gs is one that I've started from for many sites.

I know some tools that can create wireframe for web site, but their output format is not HTML. I like HTML prototype since it can be interactive (via Javascript or VBScript) and I can share it on my web site too.
Any suggestions?
Check out ForeUI, it is the specialized tool for this.
I would recommend a combination of your favourite HTML editor and your favourite browser.
