I got a very simple problem with a gwt project. I want to get a picture from a database and save it on the server. When i run the project on eclipse, java save the picture on my war directory and that's fine.
Bue when i run the project on my tomcat server, java save me the picture on the directory where tomcat is...
that's pretty weird !
Do you have any idea ?

Each running application on a computer has a "current working directory" assigned to it. If you're not specifying the path where the file should be saved then it will be saved to the CWD by default. This CWD will vary depending on which container you use to run your application.
It's possible to change the CWD but this is not a good idea in case other parts of the container depend on it. You might like to add a context-param to your web.xml so that you can specify a path where files will be saved.

Your project's build has a dependency on the Java ARchive (.jar file) com.mysql.jdbc_5.1.5
There are two possibilities that I see here, without further details on what you have done so far:
1) You already downloaded the jar, but when you specified the path where your build process is gonna look for that file you had an error in your path ... make sure you have a jar file in C:\Users\Harsh Jain\Downloads\com.mysql.jdbc_5.1.5.jar or C:\Users\Harsh Jain\Downloads\com.mysql.jdbc_5.1.5.jar\com.mysql.jdbc_5.1.5.jar (I'm thinking you might have copied the name of the jar file twice in your path).
2) If you have not manually downloaded that file, then you should do so. You can find that version at http://www.java2s.com/Code/Jar/c/Downloadcommysqljdbc515jar.htm (or elsewhere). Once downloaded, make sure to copy/unzip the actual JAR file to your C:\Users\Harsh Jain\Downloads folder.
Once you have ensured the file is actually on your system AND in the right path, run the build again.
I am try to keep separate workspace directory and code directories in my php project and sweating to understand/find how this could be achieved. A couple of revisions back I tried phpStorm and found that it does not provide such feature.
I just want to know if phpstorm 6.0 has this feature or still lacking it ? If possible please help me out.

+[Add Content Root] to add external directory
Assuming that you have created project separate from code.Some of the tool might not work
as expected
This works for linux using sshfs, sorry for windows users.
I've created this folder structure in my pc
/mnt/remote_code/code/
And i have to mount code from server like this
sshfs user#server:/var/www/server_code/ /mnt/remote_code/code/
Code from server will be mounted in code folder
In PS I open this directory: /mnt/remote_code/
So, that means PS will create this folder /mnt/remote_code/.idea (indexing and saving all project and ide settings), and keeps the code folder (with remote code inside) without changes.

does anyone know if it is possible to set the working directory for running the application you create in monodevelop?
The app is written to the bin/Debug directory and that seems to be the working directory when you debug the application. For my application (which I am porting from Windows) it takes an XML configuration file which references other XML files, the paths (in the configuration xml) I use are relative paths (which is sensible imo).
IIRC Visual Studio lets you set the working directory when you are debugging, does monodevelop? I had a good look around the options and tried to search for an answer, but no luck.

As far as I'm aware "Run" and "Debug" mode use the same working directory.

I recently installed XAMPP on my laptop - windows-7 64-bit. I just wrote a very basic and elementary "Hello World" script in HTML. But, however when i'm trying to run it, it says Object Not found. Error 404.
Here's what i'm doing:
Wrote the script.
Saved it as test.html in xampp/apache/htdocs.
Opened the browser, typed localhost/test.html in the space provided for the URL.
The bizarre thing is, i am able to run the index.html file stored in xampp/apache/htdocs. And i'm also able to run the localhost page. But any new page that i'm creating, i'm unable to run it. Please help me solve this problem.

It seems xampp is not able to locate your file.
Check DocumentRoot setting in XAMPP\apache\conf\httpd.conf to find currently it is pointing to which folder.
If you want you can point it to some other folder like,
D:/phpprojects/
By the way, You sure htdocs is in xampp/apache/htdocs ? Mine is in xampp/htdocs.

You just need to change the root of project from xampp/apache/htdocs to xampp/htdocs.
I mean your project folder has to be in xampp/htdocs root .(e.g: xampp/htdocs/project).
And your project address will be localhost/project
i want to use my mysql databases in weka in order to analysis data.
i download the mysql-connector-java-5.0.8-bin.jar and put that in weka folder in my program Files folder, and add this path to system variable path, but when i open the weka explorer and click the openDB, i don't know what should i write in the url textbox,
i don't know completely what should i do?
the error that i saw is:

no suitable driver found for!

add mysql-connector-java-5.1.12-bin.jar to CLASSPATH .
or put it in weka folder, navigate to weka installation folder and run command :
%java_home%/bin/java -Xmx300M -cp ".;weka.jar;mysql-connector-java-5.1.12-bin.jar;" weka.gui.GUIChooser
then click open DB and
fill in the proper user+password
put the url: jdbc:mysql://localhost:3306/DATABASENAME
Click Execute. The result window should show the results now.
For Weka 3.7.10, the classpath system environment variable is not took into account (at leat under Windows 7). The only working approach for me was to modify the RunWeka.ini file from the Weka installation folder as follows: the cp= setting was modified to:
cp=%CLASSPATH%;d:/Programs/jdbc/mysql-connector-java-5.1.26/mysql-connector-java-5.1.26-bin.jar
whereas only the %CLASSPATH%; setting was originally provided. Does not make much sense, but in worked.
