How to share content from our site to google plus
I tried it like this
<a href="javascript:void(0);" onclick="window.open('https://plus.google.com/share?url=<?php echo urlencode('http://example.com');?>&via=example', 'Share on Google Plus', 'width=600,height=400,left=450').focus();" >
Here I can not share content from my site. How it is possible with this?
I want to share content (example: hello) to goggle plus with sharing capability
yes. You can paste a content from your app which you have to set as a default data.. https://developers.google.com/+/web/share/interactive#button_attr_calltoactionurl
Nothing much to do here..
Just create a google plus app on the developers section.
Then Paste the below portions
<button
class="g-interactivepost"
data-contenturl="https://plus.google.com/pages/"
data-contentdeeplinkid="/pages"
data-clientid="xxxxx.apps.googleusercontent.com"
data-cookiepolicy="single_host_origin"
data-prefilltext="Engage your users today, create a Google+ page for your business."
data-calltoactionlabel="CREATE"
data-calltoactionurl="http://plus.google.com/pages/create"
data-calltoactiondeeplinkid="/pages/create">
Tell your friends
</button>
Then change the data- client id.. Now it will work as per your expectation. Enjoy :)
Its been some time since the Google has brought its share button. You can find this, on their developer's page. [Here]
Paste the generated code on your web page, then link of the page will be automatically received by the API.

Problem:
I need a Google Sheet on our members' daily workout signup page to be both editable and mobile-friendly.
Details:
We have a members-only page on our community rowing club Weebly site that includes an editable schedule. It's a Google Sheet open to all members to sign up for workouts. On desktop it's a properly formatted, editable doc but it's a mess on mobile. All of the tab names are superimposed on top of the table itself in large blue font. Looks like this:
members page mobile view
I've tried embedding the document using the Google Sheet embed code (File--Publish to the Web--Entire Document--Web Page) but this is a view-only, uneditable version. I've set the share settings to "Anyone on the internet with this link can edit" and it still isn't editable once it's embedded on our Weebly site.
The site was built by another volunteer a few years ago. This is the editable but mobile-messy embed code we're using now:
iframe width=1400 height=900 src="https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/FILENAME/edit?usp=sharing"></iframe
And here's the embed code provided by Google Sheet that gives us an uneditable but properly formatted table:
iframe src="https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/e/FILENAME/pubhtml?widget=true&headers=false"></iframe
I've replaced "pubhtml?" with "edit?" but that doesn't work. I've added the widget=true& parameter to the new embed code; also unsuccessful. Can't find anybody else with the same problem and Weebly can't help me.
Thanks in advance if anybody can help out. I'm clearly not a developer, just a volunteer and fellow member of the club hoping to help.
Some options:
If you can get your users to install the sheets app on their phone then you can link out to the normal sheets url and it should open on the mobile app.
Use Google Forms for data entry.
Sheets is exposed as an API. There may be a 3rd party tool (that stores the data to a sheet of your choosing) that would help out your specific workflow.
I'm trying to embed Google's "write a review" widget into my website. Much like what Podium.com does.
They host a page and load an iframe with the src:
https://www.google.com/maps/api/js/ReviewsService.LoadWriteWidget?key=THEIR_API_KEY&pb=!2m1!1sChIJ6VFjYpqa9YgREIJTX-XLyoE!3shttps%3A%2F%2Ftheir-url.com!5sen&cb=37369878
This renders the widget like so:
I dug into their html source and it appears they're using the Google Places Reviews Widget. I searched Google and Google Developers for "Google Places Reviews Widget" which returns results:
However, the links go to a 404 page:
https://developers.google.com/places/reviews/reference
https://developers.google.com/places/reviews/widgets
I've replicated what Podium is doing on my own page using my API key. However, the widget doesn't display. I don't get any errors, the iframe loads some scripts and some hidden html elements, but doesn't render the full widget.
Is this an API or feature that I'm unable to access? Has anyone implemented something similar?
I also had the exact same experience and reached out to Google about it.
Here's their preliminary reply on Sept 4, 2018
Apologies for the delay on this.
May I ask if you followed the steps here:
https://developers.google.com/places/reviews/#api-key
It says there that, "Before you begin coding, notify your Google
contact person that you intend to create a project to use the Google
Places API Reviews Widget. Indicate the email address of the Google
account you intend to use to manage the project. Google will use this
email address to allow you to activate the API for your project.
After your Google contact person has confirmed that your email address
can activate the Google Places API Reviews Widget, you can follow the
instructions here:
https://developers.google.com/places/reviews/#api-key to activate the
API and create your key.
May I ask if you have a contact person? If you don't have one,
apologies but the Review's Widget is not generally available, because
it needs some special authorization before it can be used. Please note
that we are investigating to see if you can get access to that Widget.
If you do have a contact person, please let me know.
Moving forward, may I ask what kind of places would you like to use
the Reviews Widget for?
Then this:
With regards to your intention in using the Review Widget, I would
like you to know that unfortunately, the Review Widget is not
available at the moment yet. We don have a date for expected general
availability for this product but I can get back to you and inform you
once the Review widget is already available publicly. Once again,
apologies for this inconvenience.
And finally:
The Reviews Widget is only actually limited to trusted partners as of
the moment. Moreover, the Review Widget team isn't looking for new
testers at the moment:
With that said, the public documentation on the Reviews Widget has
already been set into private. As mentioned, the Reviews Widget is not
yet available for the general public.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news...
check this out... I dunno if this helps. i've been trying to figure this out too. A company called BirdEye has this Review Portal that opens the post-review widget on the page. I inspected the code and found that there are 2 JS scripts calling on Google's Places API (image attached). The button code I'm assuming hitting these scripts is just below. Does this make sense to anyone? I'm not able to get into the actual JS file though.

Google Places API JS Script
I developed some html pages with social sharing functionalities like Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn etc.
But now, I have some problem to change LinkedIn image.
To share on LinkedIn I use platform.linkedin.com/in.js plugin:
When I change image from image6.jpg to another JPG file in metatag og:image, changed image couldn't be shared.
Please help me to solve this.
Thank you.
I post this answer for the developers touch Linkedin first.
The other social sites have no problem like this.
But facebook and Linkedin have this problem, because these sites have cache and save the first scraping data in cache (especially images).
Facebook cache can be removed by manually, but Linkedin cache can not be.
Linkedin cache restore scraping data for a week, and Linkedin clean cache after a week.
During this period (one week) the page you want to change image wouldn't be shared.
Because as I write, Linkedin show old data in cache , and save it again, so you have to wait for a week.
Only way to change image immediately is to change page url also.
Thank you.
So, let's think about this. Here is your what I think is the kernel of your problem:
...When I change image from image6.jpg to another JPG file in metatag og:image, changed image couldn't be shared....
At first, when you said When I change image, I thought you meant changing it in the HTML, but now I think what you mean is you are changing it through JavaScript: i.e. $(metaelement).content(newimage);.
If this is what you mean, it will not work. LinkedIn is doing a blind, simple, non-JS activated scrape/parse/cURL of your webpage. If you try to change <title> or <meta> tags with JS, the scrape will not see it. This is true with almost every type of scraped URL, in every single search engine, for instance, like google and bing (changing your <title> via JS will not be reflected in the search result). This is just how the Internet currently works!

For example, this works for me:
https://www.linkedin.com/sharing/share-offsite/?url=http://www.wikipedia.org/
See, it works fine:

I recently update my website:
http://luscoefusco13.es
But it appears in the Google search with the old attributes.
How Can I change the name and the description of the website?.
You need to ask Google to re-crawl your URLs.
That could help you:
https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/6065812?hl=en
Despite this being a ridiculous question, I'll answer it.
There is no 'refresh Google results' button, you have to wait for Google to crawl your website, see the changes and update their version of your website.
You can however, submit a sitemap to Google via Google Webmaster Tools and you can submit your URL to Google.
I have made a page in html5 with css3. It works fine on local (I dont use any server, just doubleclick in the index to open it).
I want to put it in google drive. I have load all the documents needed, but when I try to open the html, I can only see the text (I mean, it is not being executing, I can see just the source code).
Any suggestion?

Host web pages with Google Drive
Note: This feature will not be available after August 31, 2016.
I highly recommend https://www.heroku.com/ and https://www.netlify.com/
EDIT: As of August 2016 Google Drive can no longer be used to host static web pages, so this solution no longer works.
Create a new folder in Drive and share it as "Public on the web."
Upload your content files to this folder.
Right click on your folder and click on Details.
Copy Hosting URL and paste it on your browser.(e.g. https://googledrive.com/host/0B716ywBKT84AcHZfMWgtNk5aeXM)
It will launch index.html if it exist in your folder other wise list all files in your folder.
I don't think it is necessary to "host" the content using the way from the accepted answer. It is too complicated for a normal user with limited developing skills.
Google actually has provided hosting feature without using Drive SDK/API, what you need is just few clicks. Check this out:
http://support.google.com/drive/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=2881970
It is the same to the answer of user1557669. However, in step 4, the URL is not correct, it is like:
https://drive.google.com/#folders/...
To get the correct host URL. Right click on the html file (you have to finish 1-3 steps first and put the html in the public shared folder), and select "Details" from the context menu. You will find the hosting URL right close to the bottom of the details panel. It should look like:
https://googledrive.com/host/.../abc.html
Then you can share the link to anyone. Happy sharing.
Now you can use
https://sites.google.com
Build internal project hubs, team sites, public-facing websites, and moreāall without designer, programmer, or IT help. With the new Google Sites, building websites is easy. Just drag content where you need it.
While drive allows you to edit plain text and HTML files I don't believe they allow the HTML to actually be displayed. I don't think they want people hosting websites from their drive space.
A lot of the solutions offered here do not seem to work anymore. I'm currently on a chromebook and wanted to view an HTML5 banner. This seems impossible now through Google Drive or other apps (as mentioned in previous comments).
The method I ended up using to view the HTML5 was the following:
Open Google Adwords (create a free account if you dont have one)
Click on Ads in the top panel
Click on "+AD" and choose image ad
Choose "upload an ad"
Drag and drop your zip file into the area
Click on Preview
Voila, you will see your HTML5 banners in their full beauty
There may well an easier way, but this way is pretty good too. Hope it helps and worked well for me.
Create a new folder in Drive and share it as "Public on the web."
Upload your HTML, JS & CSS files to this folder.
Open the HTML file & you will see "Preview" button in the toolbar.
Share the URL that looks like www.googledrive.com/host/... from the preview window and anyone can view your web page.
Found method to see your own html file (from here (scroll down to answer from prac): https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/drive/YY_fou2vo0A)
-- use Get Link to get URL with id=... substring
-- put uc instead of open in URL
