Is there a solution to request the GML layer from Geoserver with filter like using bbox:
http://localhost:8080/geoserver/tiger/ows?service=WFS&version=1.0.0&
request=GetFeature&typeName=tiger:poi&maxFeatures=50&
bbox=-74.0104611,40.70758763,-74.00153046439813,40.719885123828675
The result will be specific filtering the bounding box (lat/lon), based on bbox parameter that user entered.
The Result:
<wfs:FeatureCollection xsi:schemaLocation="http://www.census.gov http://127.0.0.1:8080/geoserver/tiger/wfs?service=WFS&version=1.0.0&request=DescribeFeatureType&typeName=tiger%3Apoi http://www.opengis.net/wfs http://127.0.0.1:8080/geoserver/schemas/wfs/1.0.0/WFS-basic.xsd">
<gml:boundedBy>
<gml:null>unknown</gml:null>
</gml:boundedBy>
<gml:featureMember>
<tiger:poi fid="poi.4">
<tiger:the_geom>
<gml:Point srsName="http://www.opengis.net/gml/srs/epsg.xml#4326"><gml:coordinates decimal="." cs="," ts=" ">-74.00857344,40.71194565</gml:coordinates></gml:Point>
</tiger:the_geom>
<tiger:NAME>lox</tiger:NAME>
<tiger:THUMBNAIL>pics/22037884-Ti.jpg</tiger:THUMBNAIL>
<tiger:MAINPAGE>pics/22037884-L.jpg</tiger:MAINPAGE>
</tiger:poi></gml:featureMember>
</wfs:FeatureCollection>
The problem now, I want to filter the data based on the <tiger:NAME>lox</tiger:NAME>, already tried with entered the tiger:NAME=lox as a parameter when request, the result just same like when enter no parameter. Is there a solution for this?
Based on Filter Encoding with Spatial Filter within WFS-Request and Geoserver Filter. I found that there is a parameter named filter and the value can enter like this:
http://localhost:8080/geoserver/tiger/ows?service=WFS&version=1.0.0&request=GetFeature&typeName=tiger:poi&maxFeatures=2&filter=<PropertyIsEqualTo><PropertyName>NAME</PropertyName><Literal>lox</Literal></PropertyIsEqualTo>

I'm trying to filter my users list by comparing two parameters
query="EmployeeData.EmployeeID=externalId"
EmployeeData.EmployeeID is a custom schema that is populated, with a cron job, with the same value as externalId.
Of course I let the cron do the field copy only if necessary, this is the reason I'm trying to filtering the users list.
In the way i wrote seems that the query trying to looking for a value "externalId" into the EmployeeData.EmployeeID ignoring that "externalId" is a even a field
any suggestion?
The way your code is written, the query sent to Google's servers is as you correctly guessed the following:
EmployeeData.EmployeeID=externalId where your actual externalId is not sent but rather the string "externalId".
To replace this string for the actual value of your variable, you can use what is called "string concatenation" 1. To do it, you just need to modify your code as shown below:
query="EmployeeData.EmployeeID=" + externalId;
This way, the query will be sent as you need to Google's servers.
Can I populate a list with JSON data? I have a general list containing data available for several sessions but I need to filter them with my current session and insert them to another list. My idea is to use the filtered JSON data since I successfully filtered them in JSON format. I've looked into some threads that might relate but currently get nothing. Hope someone can point me to the right page.
I missed this page: or maybe I overlooked it: https://forum.alphasoftware.com/showthread.php?119524-How-to-populate-a-List-from-a-JSON-formatted-field.
Anyway, populating JSON data into list in alpha anywhere is easy to be done. Firstly, get the JSON data(in my case I produce them from another list). With this data(already in JSON format), I do the filter using:
var filtered_json = find_in_object(JSON.parse('my_JSON_data'), {my_filter_condition});
Then, the result should be in [object object][object object]
Finally, populate the result to the list.
var lObj= {dialog.object}.getControl('my_list_ID')
lObj.populate(filtered_json);
I am using the extension library's rest control to provide a json data feed. Is it possible to filter by a category or a field with a URL parameter?
I understand that I can use a search string "&search=something" but that can provide me with erroneous results. I have tried searching for a field equal to some value but that doesn't seem to work for me.
If I cannot do this with the rest control, is it possible with Domino Data Services?
You can filter by a category or field value in a viewJsonService if you add ?keys=yourValue to URL.
The REST service returns the same documents as you would get with view.getAllDocumentsByKey("yourValue").
Default is non-exact-match filtering which means that only the beginning of column value has to match. If you want the exact match then add &keysexactmatch=true to URL which would be the equivalent to view.getAllDocumentsByKey("yourValue", true).
Example:
Assuming, we have a view "Forms" with a first sorted column "Form".
With the REST service
<xe:restService
id="restService1"
pathInfo="DocsByForm">
<xe:this.service>
<xe:viewJsonService
viewName="Forms"
defaultColumns="true">
</xe:viewJsonService>
</xe:this.service>
</xe:restService>
and the URL
http://server/database.nsf/RestServices.xsp/DocsByForm?keys=Memo&keysexactmatch=true
we'd get all documents with Form="Memo" as JSON
[
{
"#entryid":"7-D5029CB83351A9A6C1257D820031E927",
"#unid":"D5029CB83351A9A6C1257D820031E927",
"#noteid":"11DA",
"#position":"7",
"#siblings":14,
"#form":"Memo",
"Form":"Memo",
... other columns ...
},
... other documents
]
We'd get the same result if the first column is categorized.
I'm working on a C# program that retrieves data from a ServiceNow database and converts that data into C# .NET objects. I'm using the JSON Web Service to return my data in JSON format.
What I want to achieve is as follows: If there is a relational mapping between a value (for
example: I have a table called Company, where CEO is not a TEXT field but an sys_id to a Employee Table) I want to be able to output that data not with an sys_id (or just displaying the name property by using the 'displayvariable' parameter) but by an object displayed in JSON.
This means that the value of a property should be an object in JSON instead of just a single value.
A few examples:
// I don't want the JSON like this
{"Company":{"CEO":"b181e841c9212c008aeb36850331fab2"}}
// Or by displaying the name of the sys_id table
{"Company":{"CEO":"James Henderson" }}
// I want the data as follows, so I can have all the data I need inside a single JSON record.
{"Company":{"CEO":{"name":"James Henderson", "age":34, "sex":"male", "office":"SBN Left Floor 23"}}}
From reading the documentation I couldn't find anything in the JSON Web Service that allowed me to display the information like this nor
find any other alternative. It should have something to do with joining the tables and displaying it all in the right format.
I have been using SNC for almost three years and have not found you can automatically join tables in a web service. Your best option would be to use a scripted web service which possibly takes a query parameter and table parameter. Then you can json serialized your result as you see fit.
Or, another option would be to generate a new processor that will traverse the GlideRecord object. The ?JSON parameter you pass in to the URL is merely a flag to pass your request to a particular processor. Unfortunately the OOB one I believe is a Java class not a JS script, so you would need to write a script much like I mentioned earlier to traverse the object path serializing the object graph as far down as your want to go.
When developing a Data Flow I don't always want to output the results to a destination - but I would like to see the data.
Is there a way to attach a Data viewer to an output without having to have a destination?
The file and raw destination have limitations on the data type they accept - and I don't want to attach conversions just to test/build code.
Is there some kind of output to null ? i could then get a data view on the result set
There is a (free) custom "trash" destination available from a third party:
http://www.sqlis.com/post/Trash-Destination-Adapter.aspx
I usually use Export column transform - if left with default configuration, it does nothing, so it is equivalent to the custom "Trash" destination mentioned by Ed, but you don't have to install anything.
When debugging and wanting to view the data in the buffer, I usually throw in a Union All and connect it below the component who's output I want to see. Then add a Data Viewer on the connector and voila, there it is!
There isn't really. You can use a RecordSet Destination, or a Row Count transform instead.
