WinRT: How to email a message to a specific person? - windows-runtime

I'm trying to port a conference app sample to WinRT at present.
In this app there are some feature where users can email specific people - e.g. on certain screens they can click buttons to send an email to the conference organisers, to one of the speakers, or to me - the app developer.
I've looked through the WinRT documents on MSDN and the only contract I can find which might be related to email is sharing - and this doesn't seem to allow you to specify who you are sharing too.
Is there some simple "send email to" method available in WinRT? e.g. something like EmailComposeTask in WP7?

Here's what I did:

It looks weird, but it works.
This allows you to set the email address and the subject, but not a full HTML body.
Using the share contract, you can set the subject and the body, but - indeed - not the address. This makes sense, as after all you don't know what app your content will be shared with. It may not be an email app at all, but e.g. a blog writer.

Docusign - using two different email body/blurb contents

Hello I have setup our app using the dev/demo account and almost ready to get a paid account. I want to get a starter API account, which doesn't have Branding.
Can I remove the Resource File from the email body without having access to branding? Any other way?
I would like to setup one email body/blurb for the signing email and a different for the completed email. Again without branding would I be able to do that?
I have been able to add customize/add html into the signing email body but would like to add a new condition somehow for the completed

There's only one emailBlurb field in DocuSign right now. That field is used in both the original as well as the final email that are sent out. You can customize it per recipient, which is not exactly what you're asking for.
You can change it after the envelope is created, but only if it's still in draft status.
Changing this field when an envelope is in sent status requires a correct operation. Which is also not exactly what you are asking to do.
At the moment what you're asking is not a feature that exist, you can build something to mimic this, but I'm not sure that is a good idea either.

DocuSign - Embedded Recipient that is also a DocuSign User needs to view Envelope in their Inbox

I have a web application wherein our users create contracts and we have integrated with DocuSign through an embedded recipient experience.
My web application is fairly involved in gathering the appropriate signers, sending emails, requesting signatures, keeping up with signer statuses, etc., and so I believe that an embedded recipient experience makes the most sense for us.
However, our first client using the integration has already been using DocuSign for some time and their signers (CEOs, CFOs and the like) are accustomed to logging into DocuSign, seeing envelopes in their inbox and clicking on them to sign - which is only possible in an integration by adding them as remote recipients. Embedded recipients cannot be associated to a DocuSign user account.
I'd like to keep using embedded recipients, but my client desperately wants to see envelopes created from my application in their DocuSign user account inbox and sign them from there without first having to log into my application.
Is there any clever way to deliver such a request with an embedded recipient experience? Even an atypical workaround, like sharing documents between the embedded recipient and the user account or some other recipient type of which I'm not aware, etc.?
Unfortunately not. When creating an embedded signing session the recipient becomes what's referred to as a Captive Recipient. Captive Recipients follow a different set of rules in regards to email notifications and presence in an inbox.
For example, Captive Recipients don't receive email notifications by default -- but they can supply an email to be CC'ed onto the envelope.
Since the Captive Recipient also has a universal account number, the user is technically part of an account outside of yours or your recipients.
IE: Your recipient views his inbox linked to his userId on account XXXXXXXXX.
The Captive Recipient is part of account YYYYYYYYYY with its own unique userId, so there's nothing for it to match up to.
If your app relies on embedded signing to load DocuSign envelopes into something like an iFrame, you can still do that without using an embedded recipient, which would give you the ability to load them through your webApp as well as let your signer access them via his DocuSign inbox.
To retrieve the signing URL, you make a POST call to https://{endpoint}.docusign.net/restapi/v2/accounts/{accountId}/envelopes/{envelopeId}/views/recipient with the following call body:

How to specify a read receipt for MailApp

I am using MailApp from Google Apps Script to send emails. When I send an email, I want to be able to track to see if the email was opened or not. This email account is a G Suite account and Email Read Receipts is set to "Allow email read receipts to be sent to any email address."
With MailApp, how do I specify to send the read receipt for the email?
I believe this is not possible with the MailApp class. The only option I thought it would be possible is by using the method sendEmail(recipient, subject, body, options). However, this method does not include any option to request for a read receipt as how you can see under the Advanced parameters explanation.
I also checked the GMAIL API service and there is no option to do this as well. The help center article here, explains this is available inside the gmail web UI and after several testing, I found out this is not possible via API.
In summary, by using apps script or the Gmail API is not possible to achieve this. The only thing that comes to my mind right now, is to implement a system in which you will include a unique image in the message and track for when the image is loaded. When the image is loaded, that means the message has been read. I have no idea how to implement such solution but I know is possible.

Mailto that autopopulates the To: field with original sender

I'd like to know if the following is actually possible:
A mailto link that does not contain an email address, but somehow auto populates the TO: field with the email of the original sender.
For example:
"a href="mailto:ORIGINALSENDER?subject=UNSUBSCRIBE&body=I would like to unsubscribe from future emails">Click here to send an unsubscribe email /a"
Is this possible without having to specify an email address in the link itself? Is there a class or function i can call to autopopulate the To: field?
The reason i ask is we send out curated email templates to individual customers and they are sent via a specific system. This system does not have an unsubscribe function, unfortunately. I am not able to use or suggest a system that does as i am but a lowly cog in the corporate machine.
In a word, no, not dynamically in an email that I'm aware of. Are you sending from the same email address each time? Can you set up an additional email address to handle unsubscribes and just have that hardcoded? (i.e. unsubscribe#yourdomain.com and have that monitored)
If you're using different email addresses, then consider replacing 'click here to unsubscribe' with something to the effect of 'to unsubscribe, reply to this email with unsubscribe in the subject line'
Lastly, making a recommendation and giving a good argument for using a system that better suits your requirements is a first step towards being more than a lowly cog in the corporate machine :)

Infusionsoft API Triggering a confirmation email

Right now I am working on creating a page that gathers details and creates my contacts, which it does fairly well overall. The problem I am having however is that the accounts are "non-marketable" This is because I can not get an email to fire off to allow them to "consent to further emails" does anyone know how to do this?

You need to set their marketing status with the email optin call. It takes two parameters: an email address and the opt-in reason.
This method only works the first time an email address opts-in.

The optin method you are referring is a double opt in where you send an email asking to confirm their address. This is not required to send emails with Infusionsoft.
