I'm having the following problem when I'm loading a swf inside a swfloader. That thing is that this subapp has a config file, and when this config file is being accessed by the subapp it throws an Security error (#2148).
I thought it was the crossdomain.xml file, but it has no reestrictions:
I suppose that the subapp is trying to access a config file that is in the swf parent server insted of trying to access its own file in the server where it is installed;
Somebody knows how to make this swfloader access its own data, or some way to solve this issue?
Thanks
Ok solved. !!
Lookslike I needed to test on the server, not on my local folder.
For this, I changed the flash builder "output folder" in "flex build path" project properties to throw the compilation resources to my server folder.
aditionaly to help in the debugging I created a new run configuration where the path to launch where the swf in my server folder.
Thanks for the people that helped me a little. Thanks :)

Your project's build has a dependency on the Java ARchive (.jar file) com.mysql.jdbc_5.1.5
There are two possibilities that I see here, without further details on what you have done so far:
1) You already downloaded the jar, but when you specified the path where your build process is gonna look for that file you had an error in your path ... make sure you have a jar file in C:\Users\Harsh Jain\Downloads\com.mysql.jdbc_5.1.5.jar or C:\Users\Harsh Jain\Downloads\com.mysql.jdbc_5.1.5.jar\com.mysql.jdbc_5.1.5.jar (I'm thinking you might have copied the name of the jar file twice in your path).
2) If you have not manually downloaded that file, then you should do so. You can find that version at http://www.java2s.com/Code/Jar/c/Downloadcommysqljdbc515jar.htm (or elsewhere). Once downloaded, make sure to copy/unzip the actual JAR file to your C:\Users\Harsh Jain\Downloads folder.
Once you have ensured the file is actually on your system AND in the right path, run the build again.
For some time, I've been using some .mex files I created. Now I have a new computer. I copied all the files over and reinstalled Cygwin and Octave. When I try to execute any of the .mex routines I get a message like:
error: testm: /cygdrive/c/A/Cwin/...../quad.mex: failed to load: No such file or directory
The file is definitely there and I'm having no trouble loading .m files from the same directory. It does not say there is anything wrong with the file. I'm guessing this is some sort of configuration problem. I am running Octave 4.2.1. When I start it, I get the following message:
Octave was configured for "x86_64-unknown-cygwin".
Could that have something to do with it? I think I'm developing x64 paranoia, since all my Excel .dll macros no longer work either. Thanks.
I tried to execute a wab page with the help of JSP & mysql as a database. After execution of first web pages it never shows the credential which is eneterd in the login page. In tomcat logs it gives the error of "java.lang.classNotFoundException:com.mysql.jdbc.driver"
Download a mysqlconnector into the below path: "D:\mohit\mysql-connector-java-5.1.23"
I have entered a CLASS PATH in system Environmental variables as D:\mohit\mysql-connector-java-5.1.23\mysql-connector-java-5.1.23-bin.jar
Local system java is installed at C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.6.0_17
Please let me know how can I overcome from this problem?
you need to have a JAR file somewhere containing com.mysql.jdbc.Driver class (so called JDBC driver). This JAR needs to be visible in Tomcat. So, I would suggest to place mysql-jdbc.jar at physical location to /WEB-INF/lib directory of your project.
Many times ClassNotFoundException occurs if jar is not at physical location. Do not play with Classpath if you are not sure. It is always suggested to put external "Jars" under /WEB-INF/lib directory and restart Tomcat, It takes care the rest.
Put the mysql-connector jar inside tomcat/lib/ext folder and restart tomcat.
I guess you are running the application on server from eclipse itself, the jar is not getting pushed to server. Try placing the jar file in WEB-INF/lib folder
I am trying to read and write into app.config file of user-settings. I found a snippet of a code for working with confige file. I finally got it compiling and running, but it absolutely seems to be doing nothing to the App.config file.
Here is the code:
Method MainForm1.Button1.Click(sender: System.Object; e: System.EventArgs);
var
config : System.Configuration.Configuration;
begin
config:=ConfigurationManager.OpenExeConfiguration(ConfigurationUserLevel.None);
config.AppSettings.Settings.Add('PreferenceToRemember','value1');
config.Save(ConfigurationSaveMode.Modified);
ConfigurationManager.RefreshSection('appSettings');
end;
It is compiling without any errors, but I don't know if it is doing anything.
Is there anything wrong with the code? I need to be able to write/read a section and write/read a key/value. Thanks in advance.
UPDATE: Instead of using ConfigurationManager, I simply use Properties.Settings.Default. However, I am having bit of a problem writing into it and reading back from it, although program complies with without any errors and the code seems simple.
How do you read and write to Properties.Settings.Default from within your code?
Maybe you're looking at the wrong file?
The app.config you have in your solution will be copied to YourProgramFile.exe.config in the bin/Debug or bin/Release folder. When running your program it will update this file, not the app.config file in your solution.
Then perhaps you also should check write permissions on your application folder. Normally (Win Vista, Win 7) the User executing an application does not have write permissions in the Program Files folder where your application should reside, so updating the .config will most probably fail due to the lack of write permissions. This is even more true for Linux/Unix systems.
You should try to separate the elements you need to write and write an additional config file in a user-specific folder. You can take the defaults from the normal application config for that initially and just update the user-specific config file, this way you are not hindered by file permissions and every user can update their settings specifically.
As the title implies i have problems making a very simple (actually an empty project) to run!
I always get the follwing error:
SecurityError: Error #2148: SWF file file:///C:/Users/Σάββας/Adobe Flash Builder 4/Test/bin-debug/Test.swf cannot access local resource file:///C:/Users/Σάββας/Adobe Flash Builder 4/Test/bin-debug/osmf_flex.4.0.0.13495.swf. Only local-with-filesystem and trusted local SWF files may access local resources.

Is there something i have done wrong? Ι also tried to debug (the empty application) with no success!!
I tried to set the Global Security Settings for the folders involved in developing to always allow but the result is the same!!
My problem is that i will not be able to debug the application which is of verrrryyyy annoying.
I 'm using Flashbuilder 4, FlexSDK4, Mozilla.
Any hint is appreciated!
This error occurs when you try to open an application that uses RSLs in the standalone player or in the browser by using the file system and not a server. It means that you are violating the security sandbox of Flash Player by trying to load file resources.
You must deploy your application and RSLs to a network location, and request the application with a network request so that Flash Player will load the RSL.
If you are testing the application locally, you can add the directory to your Player trust file to avoid this error.
