Multiple search elements - google-maps

I am stuck when it comes to adding more than one search element. I can get 1 search element to work using the Fusion tables layer wizard but any others added don't function? My website is called earthquakedamagemap.com. I'm trying to build a similar search function to that of newspapermap.com
It is my university project. Any advice would be much appreciated!

Try changing the id of your second select menu to search-string1. Then, in your changeMap1 function, pass 'search-string1' to the method document.getElementById().

HTML form is getting hanged/Freezes when i try to do any action on screen in Angular 7

Hi my angular form is getting hanged when am try to scroll up and down and try to select drop down options, selecting items in list control. My form contains input controls which has regex patterns, controls. All these controls are in my child html form.
And if i clear cache its working fine.
Please suggest me to fix this issue.
Calling a method function from direct html can be costlier Operation which might have called your application function multiple times apart of life cycle hooks.
It's better to use always variable instead of functions if you are not using it already. Please share your code snippet or stackblitz url for better help from community

Autodesk Viewer: Show a list of elements with specified Database IDs

The functionality I seek is very similar to the default ModelStructurePanel model browser, except that I need to list only a subset of elements, by passing a list of dbIds of the elements I want listed. By clicking on an element on that list, have the view focus on that element.
I figure there might be two ways of achieving this by using the ModelStructurePanel (although I'm open to using something else):
Creating a new instanceTree with only the specified elements, then doing something like viewer.modelstructure.setModel(newInstanceTree)
Overwriting the ModelStructurePanel.shouldInclude method to hide all elements but the specified ones.
I have googled for Viewer code boilerplate that would provide this functionality, but have not found it. Any help is very much appreciated.
There is a basic sample here very close to what you described, and I would go with customizing just one action instead create a new one, seems easier.

Visual Studio 2013 LightSwitch HTML Cascading Dropdowns

I'm currently helping a small team create a HTML LightSwitch business app that has a tier of 4 Cascading dropdowns. These drop downs are linked together just as the common example of when you select your state it filters to cities only in that state. However, the issue that we have run into is that upon changing one of the parent boxes the child box doesn't reset or revert to a blank state. How would it be possible to accomplish, if possible, the clearing the child boxes upon parent change. Im pretty sure we need an OnChange event handler but I'm not sure where to put this in LightSwitch because it creates the code for you.
Any idea's or code snippets that are able to fix this problem would be appreciated.
Thank you in advance for the help,
Jeremy
I think you need a change listener event on page created method screen.addChangeListener("DropDown1",DropDown1Changed);
function DropDown1Changed(e){
screen.findContentItem("DropDown2").value ="";
screen.findContentItem("DropDown3").value ="";
};
I havent tested this code. But, something similar to this should work. This should give you general idea about the solution.
Dont forget to remove the listener.
Use pop-ups based on Queries instead of drop-downs. Make the parameters for your queries optional where necessary. LightSwitch will then update the page definition as selections are made. This is because the binding of the popup data values is done at run-time, whereas the binding for controls rendered when the page loads is static.
Michael Washington gives a pretty good summary of the technique in this article.

filteringSelect with multichecked

is there any ready widget like that?
If not, can I combine the dijit filteringSelect with dojox multichecked?
if not, is it easy to create one of my own or has any one started doing this? it's so necessary for my project.
There is no widget like that as far as I know (the multichecked widget itself is not even a standard widget, since it's a part from DojoX).
About your question of combining both. I don't think that will be easy, because the dijit/form/FilteringSelect does not use a <select> as widget and I don't think they're made to be ran together.
And the answer to your last question: it all depends on what functionality you exactly need. A dijit/form/FilteringSelect only allows you to select 1 value (it's a textbox with a dropdown in fact, and a textbox can only have 1 value).
If you want to create a variant with radio buttons, then that is possible, but it is not an easy job. The multichecked is working with a simple DOM node, however, the dijit/form/FilteringSelect offers a lot more things like autocomplete, stores, ... . To make your widget work, you need to listen to all these events and adapt yuur radio buttons to it.
I made a simple example that is only displaying radio buttons for each item in the filtering select, the code can be seen at JSFiddle. However, it does not react to changes, that's a part that you will have to implement.

Selector box question

What is the name of the html tool used for creating a list of objects from a select field. It usually looks like two boxes with an arrow in the middle. An example would be if you were creating a group and box A had a list of users and you would click on a name and then click the arrow in the middle. It would then add it to box B creating a unqiue group list. I am trying to find the name of this so I can find some examples online. Anyone know the name or where I can find some good examples?
It's called Picklist. Google gives good examples with that keyword: http://google.com/search?q=html+picklist. Good luck.
try this
Multi select transfer script
or this
Option transfer
HTML does not have this control built in. But many other environments provide it. Sometimes its called a doubleselect(struts2).
