Google Chrome -- Google search json download - json

Alright so about every 30 seconds that I type searches into google's automatic search engine, google chrome downloads these "search.json" files. Why are they downloading and what can I do to prevent this from happening in the future?

This issue is caused by FastestChrome. The solution is to disable it ("Tools" >> "Extensions" >> "FastestChrome - Browse Faster" >> Uncheck "Enabled"). There seems to be a consensus on a Google forum topic that FastestChrome is causing the issue. I have confirmed myself.
Additionally, Mozilla Firefox users with FastestFox do experience the same issue. Disabling FastestFox should also resolve the problem.

The consensus is that FastestChrome causes this issue. Though you don't have to delete the entire app. The google product forums () suggest turning off these features in FastestChrome's options to get rid of the problem:
-Popup Bubble / Search Engines: uncheck google AND Google Maps.
-Uncheck the boxes under the Search Results tab

goto Google Preferences
check "Do not use Google Instant" in Google Instant section
then click save preference button at the right bottom corner.

Google Chrome Extension to handle certain links

I need to create a simple Chrome extension that will open telephone links in Gmail with a certain application (Cisco Jabber) instead of the default (Google Hangouts).
I've tried doing some research and haven't found anything that indicates this is possible. Is this something that a Chrome extension can do? If so, can someone point me in the right direction on how to get started, please?

How can I make the advanced button work in chrome 'App isnt verified'?

I'm sorry this question might not be completely on topic, but i couldn't find answers googling it.
I'm creating an google app script (with clasp).
When i run the script i get the following popup as usual:
I'm supposed to click on advance and go anways.
But the advanced button no longer works! it doesn't show me the followup button to continue anymore!
Does anyone have the same issue and was able to fix it? It seems to have originated after the chrome update (with rounded ui).
I tried deleting the original grant (i added a feature that needed bigger scope), but even that didn't work.
It might be one of my chrome extensions.
Doing the same thing in incognito mode, worked!

Google logo, map tiles and other google images don’t load in Chrome (HTTP 400)

There are several similar entries in stackoverflow for this error (HTTP 400), but I haven't found anything relevant to mine; so if this is already answered... my apologies.
Chrome is my default browser, and I use many Google services everyday, like Gmail, Maps, Docs, etc.
However, time-to-time, when I am logged-in to Google, I notice some assets are not loading from Google websites (*.google.com).
For example; Google logo in upper-left corner at main www.google.com search results; or image tiles in Maps.
Those missing images (or assets in general images, JS, CSS) have references in the DevTools Console: Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 400
Once I clear storage in DevTools > Application, naturally I get logged out, but those missing assets start behaving normal and load as expected. I can log back in to Google services and use them without any issues, until next time it happens.
Since clearing storage (cookies and cache) fixes the issue, I don't think it's related with any of the installed add-ons (read AdBlock).
Has anyone experienced this issue, or better yet have a solution for this? Or should I continue blaming Google in general? :)
I was having a similar issue in Maps. I searched around on the intertubes and found a solution that worked for me:
https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/maps/zbT4TK4x2QI
Synopsis: delete all the cookies for "www.google.com" starting with gsScrollPos
In Chrome:
click "three dot" menu on upper right
click settings
open the advanced section
click content settings
click cookies
click "see all cookies and site data"
click the search cookies box and type "google"
scroll down to find "www.google.com" and click it
now click the X next to each item starting with gsScrollPos
Hope that helps you!

Open google search results using keyboard on Chrome

To become more efficient, I wanted to use keyboard to point to and open any google search results on the first page. I couldn't find any such shortcut. I think using tab used to work but recently it has stopped working for me.

Where can I find and submit bug reports on Google's Chrome browser?

It will be important for developers wanting to develop for the chrome browser to be able to review existing bugs (to avoid too much pulling-out of hair), and to add new ones (to improve the thing). Yet I can't seem to find the bug tracking for this project. It is open source, right?
Google is calling it Chromium on Google Code
The Chromium Bug Reporting Page is there and has the link to submit bugs listed. (Google Account Required)
Here's a direct link to the bug report form.
Go to the wrench -> About Google Chrome -> report an issue. (accurate as of v19.0.1084.46)
This is the home page for the Code: http://code.google.com/chromium/
And here's more info: http://dev.chromium.org/getting-involved including the bug list
Click the Chrome menu (), then Help > Report an issue....
Since Google Code has been deprecated, you can also go to bugs.chromium.org in order to report new bugs and features or search for the existing one. The Chrome browser is under chromium category, so after logging-in, you can submit a new bug report by clicking New issue on the top-left corner and follow the wizard steps.
See: Report a problem or send feedback on Chrome at Chrome Help
From the Google Site
Click the Page menu page menu.
Select Report a bug or broken website.
Choose an issue type from the drop-down menu. The web address of the webpage you're on is recorded automatically.
If possible, add key details in the 'Description' field, including steps to reproduce the issue you're experiencing.
Keep 'Send source of current page' and 'Send screenshot of current page' checkboxes selected.
Click the Send report button to report a Google Chrome bug.
I don't see any reference to public bug tracking...
The Google Code site for the Chrome project is available at:
http://code.google.com/chromium/
Facilities available allow you to:
File bug reports;
Join the Google group discussions;
Submit a patch;
Plus there are links to the development blog and a whole bunch of other useful stuff.
See the Issues tab on Chrome's Google Code page.
The bug tracker is here:
https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/
Some shortcuts:
crbug.com
crbug.com/new (file a new bug)
crbug.com/150835 (go to a bug by number)
