I am using github pages and hexo to make my own blog.
I wrote few articles and it looks find.(https://bmy4415.github.io/2018/05/08/ssh-key/)
(This site is written in Korean).
But I cannot search my blog on Google Search even if search as "bmy4415's note" which is my blog's main name.
I also used hexo plugin 'hexo-generator-seo-friendly-sitemap' and 'hexo-generator-search' but it seems not effective. Is there any additional setting that will show my blog on Google Search? Thanks.
Google does NOT know everything on its own.
Go to Google webmasters` tool and fill needed data and verify your web ownership. Googlebot will start visiting and tracking your site.
Plus have a look at robots.txt
I am using Opensearch in my site to be able to search directly using Chrome omnibox
However, I want my site to able to add multiple search engines (different domains) via OpenSearchDescription xml.
I tried adding multiple search description xmls and referencing them in my index html, but only the search engine referenced in the last search description xml is added in chrome settings. Is there a way to add multiple search engines??
I even tried writing a chrome extension, but it too was able to add only one search engine.
I also observed that opening site in iframe doesn't help the browser (Chrome in my case) to add the entry in search engines.
Any help with adding multiple search engines via opensearch or via chrome extension is greatly appreciated.
I am trying to develop a web application that will use google search engine.
I am able to embed the page(google.co.in) in my jsp using iframe tag. But what I require that I want to embed only google's search box, not the entire page(image/logo etc.). Is it possible somehow?
Looking for ideas.
If you want to search your website use google custom search.
i just got into HTML and want to make some sort of search engine.
is there a way to search the web from that page, OR redirect it to google or other search engine's?
You can use Google's custom search engine (CSE) for this. It is really easy to setup. Go to the link given below.

You will get a code that you can paste to your webpage.
Hacker News' URL is news.ycombinator.com. When I input the full URL into Chrome, the right most part of the URL bar has the text "Press to search HNSearch". HNSearch is a separate site which indexes and searches Hacker News. It is located at hnsearch.com. There is nothing in the metadata of Hacker News to indicate that HNSearch is the search engine of Hacker News.
So my question is, How does Google Chrome know to use HNSearch to search Hacker News?
Likely Chrome is asking Google for what search forms are available. The search form is using hnsearch.com.
