Can the ConfigurationAPI in Liferay DXP be used for Plugin sdk portlet?

I have followed given 2 tutorials to use COnfigurationAPI in a Liferay dxp plugins SDK portlet built using Ant/Ivy.

Post following the steps,I am getting the below error:

So,does this process need a osgi module as mandatory or can we do it using plusings sdk portlet built using ant as well?

The way you build your plugin (Ant, Maven, Gradle, manually) doesn't make a difference, as long as you build a plugin that will be understood by the runtime. aQute.bnd.annotation.metatype.Meta points firmly into the OSGi world, and makes it almost certain that you'll need an OSGi module. You can build this with Ant, of course. Even in Ant you can embed tools like bnd, or you can write the proper Manifest.mf to include in your module manually (just kidding - you don't want to do it manually, but it would work).
Recommendation: Instead of moving everything over: Try to reproduce this with a minimal example in gradle or better Liferay Workspace (which is gradle based), just to get all the automatic wiring in. Check if it makes a difference and compare the generated output from your Ant build process with the workspace output. Pay specific attention to the Manifest.
In order to build the proper Manifest, you want to use bnd - if the Manifest turns out to be your issue: Find a way to embrace bnd - if that's by saying goodby to Ant, or by tweaking your build script remains your decision.

How do I avoid conflicts between haxe Type class and C# Type class?

I am developing Haxe code that I convert in C# and insert into a Unity project.
The conversion works fine and I am able to use the generated class when I import it alone in Unity.
To make it work, I have to bring in Unity the whole generated src folder, including the Type.cs file.
However, when I import the "Post Processing Stack" (a basic Unity extension) I get errors due to name Conflicts. The Type class is also a basic C# class and It is used by the Post Processing scripts.
The haxe-Type takes priority and breaks the compilation:

Assets/PostProcessing/Runtime/PostProcessingBehaviour.cs(406,34): error CS1503: Argument `#1' cannot convert `System.Type' expression to type `Type'
I don't know if it is possible to solve this issue by playing around with C#/Unity/Mono search paths.
I as wondering wether it is more appropriate to (optionally) wrap all haxe top-level classes into the haxe namespace, or a special haxe-defaultnamespace, or prefix them for example to class HType.
Name conflicts for this basic types are likely to emerge in many other contexts, not only in Unity.
I found the solution in the Haxe documentation for C#:

-D no-root generate package-less haxe types in the haxe.root namespace to avoid conflicts with other types in the root namespace
This way, all the classes that were at global level will be generated under namespace haxe.root.

Cakephp 3: React/zmq library namespace

I am working on on the basic tutorial on using ratchet mentioned here http://socketo.me/docs/push.
I have created a test setup for the tutorial that works flawlessly. However, when I am trying to integrate the setup with CakePHP 3 I am running into problems. The ratchet and ZMQ servers are independent just the way mentioned in the tutorial. Only the following piece of code needs to move into CakePHP 3 controllers:
$context = new ZMQContext();
$socket = $context->getSocket(ZMQ::SOCKET_PUSH, 'my pusher');
$socket->connect("tcp://localhost:5555");
$socket->send(json_encode($entryData));
This code basically submits new data to ZMQ queue for forwarding to ratchet. If I place the same 4 lines in a plain PHP file outside CakePHP 3 codebase it works. When I place the same four lines inside APP\Controller\SamplesController it says the class APP\Controller\ZMQContext not found.
CakePHP 3 docs mention that vendor libraries installed via composer will be automatically available through autoloader. I have installed React\ZMQ library via following command:
php composer require react/zmq
I have tried accessing the class via following namespaces but none of them have worked:
ZMQContext ( Class 'App\Controller\ZMQContext' not found )
\ZMQContext ( Class 'App\Controller\ZMQ' not found )
React\ZMQ\ZMQContext ( Class 'App\Controller\React\ZMQ\ZMQContext' not found )
\React\ZMQ\ZMQContext ( Class 'React\ZMQ\ZMQContext' not found )
Probably missing out on some namespace concept in PHP but my understanding is that if ZMQContext is available in a normal PHP file through global namespace, then it should also be available within CakePHP 3 via \ZMQContext.
I have following questions:
How can I push data to ZMQ Queue within my CakePHP 3 APP ?
APP::path() & APP::classname() seems to work only for classes within the CakePHP 3 application. How to check path for a particular vendor library class ?
How to autoload vendor library classes correctly ? (I do not wish to require/require_once them as it will needed to be done for each controller that wants to publish data via ratchet)
Is the assumption about accessing global namespace via \CLASSNAME wrong ?
My second attempt at accessing vendor library class at \ZMQContext resolved to App\Controller\ZMQ. How is that possible when it should have attempted within root namespace ?
ZMQContext is not part of react/zmq library so does it mean it part of default php bindings for libzmq ?
This was a simple typo problem:

problems while generating java code from jruby

I have problems while generating .java files with jruby 1.7.3. Here is an example:

def quack()
puts "quack!";
end
end
def quack_it(duck)
duck.quack
end
a = Duck.new
quack_it(a)
when I execute
jrubyc --java Test.rb I get the following compilation error:
Failure during compilation of file DuckExample_simple.rb:
undefined method `new_method' for nil:NilClass.
Therefore, I have 2 questions:
What is wrong here?
I want to generate .java files in order to see how the JRuby code is translated into the bytecode and instead of reading the bytecode itself I thought to read the java code. Does the generated java code correspond 1 to 1 to the bytecode generated by AOT jruby compiler, or it's better to read the bytecode itself? I actually want to see how jruby handles dynamic method dispatch at the bytecode level. Any hints would be appreciated.
i don't use jruby so i am not really the best guy to talk to, but here are my 2 cents anyways.
if you just put a simple class into the file, it will work. so try
class Duck
def quack()
puts "quack!"
end
end

Using Custom Java Class file in Jruby

I am trying to execute some custom Java code through the latest version of Jruby (1.5.1), Ruby 1.8.7, with Java 1.6.0_06. I have tried both the class file and putting it in a jar method. When I try
require 'java'
require 'path_to_class/myClass
or
require 'java'
require 'path_to_jar/a_jar.jar
Trying both methods, I cannot access the myClass nor any other files in the jar file. Other variations on the net for importing java classes lead to the following error:
`NameError: cannot load Java class com.package.myClass from C:/jruby-1.5.1/lib/ruby/site_ruby/shared/builtin/javasupport/java.rb:51:in method_missing`
I have also checked the solutions on StackOverFlow and I still get the same outcome. I am wondering if this might be a problem at a deeper level.
Instead of 'require', you want 'java_import'.
require 'java'
java_import com.package.MyClass

If you have a Java class com.mypackage.MyClass in the same folder, or in a folder present on the classpath, you can call it from your JRuby script like this:
require 'java'
import com.pack.MyClass
myClass = MyClass.new
If the class is in a jar, you have to require the jar:
require 'java'
require '/path/to/myjar.jar'
import com.pack.MyClass
myClass = MyClass.new
If myjar.jar is on the classpath, you can just use require 'myjar.jar'.

So Here is what worked for me, I had all required stuff that people suggested but what I really needed was
$CLASSPATH << (Rails.root.to_s + "/path/to/dotClassFolder")
before the java_import statement
so in the file system, if your class was was in the folder
Rails.root/path/to/dotClassFolder/folder/anotherFolder/MyClass.class
Include $CLASSPATH << (Rails.root.to_s + "/path/to/dotClassFolder")
then java_import "folder.anotherFolder.MyClass"
