SQL Reporting Services - COPY reports to another folder - reporting-services

This is stupid that I can't figure out how to do this. I'm in the SQL Reporting Services Report Manager website. I have some reports in a folder. I want to copy those reports to a different folder so that I can point those reports to a different datasource. I still need the original reports in their original folder, pointing to their original datasource.
It's very easy to select reports via checkbox and use the Move functionality, but there doesn't appear to be a way to copy?
Any ideas.

There is no easy way to copy reports in report manager.
I wrote a tool to help me copy reports between servers, you can use the same to copy on the same server too.

I know this question is old but here is how I copy a report to another folder:
I open the original report in Report Builder and use 'save as'.

Only way I know is manually, one by one. This is in SQL2005.
Navigate to the location of the report(s)
Show details
Click the Edit icon next to the report
On the General tab under the "Report Definition" section, click "Edit"
This prompts a Save File dialogue box. Save the .rdl file somewhere.
Repeat ad nauseum...
Now you can import those reports you've just saved to your new location.
After I wrote this I saw this was the same answer as jimconstable above! Damn!

This is a little late, but just in case someone else stumbles upon this thread. I find the easiest way is to click the drop down arrow to the right of the report you would like to copy. Select "Edit in Report Builder". Once that's open just "Save As". Works like a charm.

Within the Browser, if you open the folder then use the drop down there is a Download option.
I compared the file sizes between download and save-as and found them different, so I prefer the download option.

I don't think these is a simple way to do this. You could pull them all out by going to each report->properties tab->edit. This will let you download the report. Then you can upload it again to another folder. But that sounds like a PITA.
You would be probably be best off the upload from the BIDS to a different folder.

Is there a way to globally change all the hyperlinks in all reports on a report server on SSRS?

We've just had one of our systems moved to a new server, along with 3600+ SSRS reports. All these reports contain hyperlinks. Unfortunately, none of these hyperlinks have been updated to point to the new server, and so are still opening items on the old server.
Instead of having to edit each hyperlink in each report, is there a way I can globally update the reports at the same time so that the hyperlinks point to the new server?
I thought running an update on the content field in the catalog table might do the job but apparently not from what I've been able to gather online.
Thank you for any help you can give.
Yep, normally it would be better to store your hyperlinks in a dataset.
I dont think you can do that globally, because your hyperlink is embedded in your report.
You can open your report .rdl file in text editor. In the text editor you can search for your hyperlink and replace it with the new value (search & replace). Well this still has to be done per hand for each report.
On top, you can write a small program in C#, .NET, etc... in which you pass your old and new hyperlink (single or as datatable). The program basically, opens all the .rdl reports and apply the search & replace then close and safe it.

How can you automate copying a report on an SSRS Report server?

Right now we use linked reports in many places. This causes subreports to link back to the original folder.
Is there a good way to copy a report in SSRS to copy a report to another folder with C#. We don't want to manually open a report and save as to the folder where the linked item is.
Alternatively: is there a way to make subreport links appear like they're in the same location as the linked report?
If your link is pointing to report /xxx/A and you want to move it to /yyy/A then you have to manually re-create the links or use the ReportService api to programmatically create the links.

SSRS 2008 R2 - Export as PDF - Save/Cancel, No Open Dialog

Hopefully this will be pretty simple! I've googled around but apparently I'm the only person in existence with this issue. When I go to Export my report as a PDF, a dialog box opens that only has options for Save and Cancel. I want either:
An Open option on that window so the report opens in whatever PDF viewer
The report to open automatically AFTER the user saves it as whatever filename they want.
Note that I don't want it to save automatically, but provide them some option to open it AFTER they've saved it.
This is based on the users browser, and has little or nothing to do with SSRS.

SSRS - Uploading a Report and copying to a network directory

We are using SSRS and when we "Upload" an .rdl file using the web report manager we would like to automatically take a copy of that .rdl file and put it on a network drive.
I'm not familiar with SSRS at all and I don't even know where to begin to look. I'm assuming that there is an .API.
Is there a way to capture via the web report manager after the file has been uploaded to the DB that I can then make a copy of that rdl file to the network path of my choosing?
Update:
It appears that Microsoft doesn't allow customization of the Report Manager.
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms157147(v=sql.90).aspx
So maybe the answer is that I can't do what I want to do.
You can't do what you are asking using Report Manager. However you can use the rs.exe utility provided with Reporting Services to create a script that will download the rdl file(s) from the report server to disk.
Example here: http://blog.geektrainer.com/2012/04/download-all-reports.html
Looks like you are trying to keep the back up of the SSRS reports. Here is the link which downloads the file to your local drive. You can modify the same for copying to the network location if you want.

In SSRS report manager can not see New folder, new dat source, upload file etc. options?

I am trying to use report manager to deploy report. I am newbie on SSRS.
When i opened report manager URL i see something like this.
So I could not find any way to upload rdl/create dataset etc. When I googled I got following image.
Here there are options to deploy report..what could be the reason I am not bale to see this?
First, if you are executing the report locally, you should Run the IE as Administrator and if the folders still are no shown you should configure the Site Settings and add the curent user.
