How to save flash-animation in .flv format in Adobe Flash CS3? - actionscript-3

Actually I can save it in swf and in avi formats. Is there any correct way to save animation in flv format without using 3rd-party products (like different swf2flv converters)?

Export out your animation as .mov then in the Flash Video Exporter (should have come installed with Flash) open that select that .mov file then export out to .flv :) no 3rd party apps needed.

Flash to HTML5 Loss of interactivity

I have Some sample fla Content which I am not able to convert into HTML5 with interactions
What I tried is
Google Swiffy --> Gives interactions [not full] but no sound. Issue is it works for content less than 1 MB
Toolkit for CreateJs --> Initially I got jsx errors but I cleared them by removing Special Characters in element names. But non of the case I got interactivity [Means I was not able to use my Mouse events or clicks
HTML5 Canvas in Flash Pro CC --> even here I got same above result.
Did I am missing something ??
You didn't really miss anything. Flash's HTML conversions do not convert AS3 to JS (that would be nice if it did). In this case you have to write the interaction using JS.
Sounds like you're using Google's online SWF-to-Swiffy converter, which has a 1MB limit. There's a better way, if you have Flash Pro CS5 or CS6 and the original FLA files. Try this:
download Google's swiffy generator and instal it in your Flash Pro (read instructions carefully)
open your FLAs and find the sounds that don't play in the swiffy file - most likely they are set as streaming sound (streaming audio is not supported by Swiffy), so change them to event sound
BUT, looped event sounds exported to Swiffy only play once (they don't loop), so if you need them, export the sound from the FLA (as .wav), and copy and paste it as many times as necessary in a new .wav file and re-import
All done? Now export from Flash Pro using Command -> Export as HTML5 (swiffy)
NB: Google's Swiffy extension for Flash Pro won't work with Creative Cloud, and on mobiles there'll be NO AUDIO whatever you do - sound only seems to work on desktop PCs, owing to mobile restrictions on unsolicited big-file preloads.

How to play .ts files (video/MP2T media type) in Browser?

I have one .m3u file that points to several .ts files (all in akamai).
Because we give to akamai a live stream, they convert it to these .ts files each of 10s. I see that the m3u files are easy to understand, but I can't find a browser based (flash, html5 or native plugin) player for these files.
If I give to vlc the link of the m3u file, vlc plays all the .ts files one after another as if it where only one big file. I want to use flash or something similar to be able to play in browser, the same way vlc can play those .m3u files.
Is this possible ?
You are basically talking about Apple's HLS format.
You can use an html5 object in your web page. You can use http://osmfhls.kutu.ru/ flash plugin. You can use jwplayer. There are more choices (e.g. flowplayer).

Play Flac files on website

Is there a way to play Flac files on a website, preferably using HTML5 and/or jQuery?
I don't know any in-browser Flac player. But, if you are after a loseless file format, you can consider mp3HD, which is also loseless, like Flac, but is backwards compatible with mp3, which means that any mp3 player can play it.

RTMP stream MP4 with FLVPlayback Component

I'm having to change a video from an ollllddd project. It was built using the AS3 FLVPlayback Component. The video back then were FLV and streamed fine from out limelight server.
The new videos I received are h264 MP4s and are NOT streaming. Has anyone been able to successfully STREAM mp4 files using the FLVPlayback component?
I never use this component anymore. I have since moved onto OSMF player and I can stream MP4s no problem
Edit: This program is rather large and is highly dependent on the FLVPlayback component so swapping it out isn't an option right now.
I've figured it out. The URL is way different. Should have known because its the same format as the OSMF player. The URL has to be formatted like so:
rtmp://youserver.llnwd.net/xxxx/mp4:xxx/u/clients/xxxx/vov/vov_low_version2'
note the location of mp4: rather than in front of or after just the filename

Can a SWF file be made to play wav, wma and mp4?

I am putting together a website that uses a templating system. It contains a plugin that lets users upload/share music files so anyone can listen to them via the website's flash player.
It works with mp3 files only. Is there a way to make the player play other formats such as wav, wma, mp4, etc?
Here is the list of natively supported codecs by the Flash Player:
http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/402/kb402866.html
If you need to play something not natively supported, there are external API's that will allow you to do so, just chose a Flash Sound API:
