Materialize tabs for external links - html

I'm working with the Materializecss front-end framework and I'm trying to use tabs for moving along external links but it seems like it doesn't work. The examples are for content with a ID inside the same page we're on. How can I solve this? Thank you.

As option - have different active tab on page you're linking. So visiting that page from link automatically sets it as active

How to create a css navbar?

I'm using Django to handle my templates. From the picture I am trying to explain what I want in the web page. For convenience I have given the number for the blocks in the picture. I have created blocks 3,4 5,6, and 7 in one .html file.
I actually want navbar1 and navbar2 to display in every page of my project, and that's why I have to create one separate .html file for each. The problem is that I'm not able to apply two navbars in one html file. I also tried with the sidebar (for navbar2), but have faced some issues.
Dropdown button doesn't work on the sidebar and,
When I reload the page, the menu of the side bar will display first and then the sidebar will overwrite the menu and then visualize properly.
Please suggest to me how I can design the page for navbar1 and navbar2 in one html file.
Creating a base.html template that all other templates inherit/extend from should do the trick. Here's a website post going in depth upon how to accomplish this: https://tutorial.djangogirls.org/en/template_extending/

Unable to switch properly between webpages

While I'm trying to switch between different sections of my webpage I am getting the following page as shown in the image. How can I solve this?
you need to provide context for your question for people being able to help you. I imagine you are trying to navigate between different html files, by clicking into an anchor tag, is that correct?
Go to next page
So in that case, you might be adding a wrong relative route, otherwise I think you should add more context to your question.
If you are trying to switch between sections on your webpage. Try adding section and giving them id. Then from any anchor tag you can reach the section by adding the following code.
Section 1
you can use jquery
$(".div").load("index.php .yoursection");
To switch between sections on your webpage,Use the id selector ,
Example:
<p id="opening">Hyperlinks are utilized by a web browser to move from one page to another...</p>
Now add the anchor tag to link,
Opening
"Opening" will be displayed as a link on the webpage. On clicking it, you will be switched on the same webpage where the id is "Opening".
In this example it is the paragraph tag.
If you trying to switch into another webpage,
Go to home page

AngularJS unable to load page on specified location with hash

I have this 2-page website which uses angularjs. I like to be able to load page 1 on a certain position by clicking a link on page 2.
Normally, without angular you would give a div an ID like <div id="test"> and put a link on page2 test
On my angular website I use duScroll library to create smooth scrolling.
As a concept I've created the following example website: http://jdenuijl.com/test/#chapter2
this link will open the correct location and smoothscrolls when clicking the links at the top of the page.
On my production website the following link https://escapist.nl/nl/#gallery gets rewritten to https://escapist.nl/nl/#!#gallery and it doesn't open on the correct position.
I've read a lot of questions on stackoverflow about $hashprefix, $locationProvider, $location but I don't see why it's working on my test site and not on my production site. I use some other angularjs functionalities on the production website but I can't find what is causing the rewrite.
What is causing the rewrite and the failure of the normal behaviour?
Thank you very much!
Aleksey Solovey put me in the right direction. I was using the angular-google-analytics module which I found out was loading ngRoute which caused the problem.

Anchor on single page website

This is an issue regarding, http://www.mccaffreyhautecouture.com/
I am unable to create an external link where the viewer is brought to a specific page within the website. On landing, the viewer must always enter by the landing/main slide page.
This was a purchased template and the entire website is coded in a single index.html file.
My client would like their Pinterest images to link directly to the source or gallery.
Is this at all possible?
I greatly appreciate any assistance.
Thank you,
Stanley Ounarom
It looks like this was written using AJAX to pull in content. The URL doesn't change when nav is clicked, which makes it impossible to link to a specific page w/in the site. The site will need to be further developed to allow for this functionality.
This may help:
jquery ajax history and bookmarking plugin

Creating tabs using HTML and loading different content, for click of each tab

I need to create tabs on the webpage using html, and on click of each tab, need to load different content on the same page. Do let me know how to go about this, or any useful links that might help me.
Thanks,
Geetha
This can be done with jQuery and jQuery UI.
Here you can find some information about it. http://www.stilbuero.de/jquery/tabs_3/
Dojo (javascript framework) has a TabContainer. It's easy to implement, but depends on the content and how do you want to present it to the user.
You can start by looking here: Dojo TabContainer info
There's an example on that site which lets you see the html and javascript required to build a tabbed container.
