I'm looking for an answer for following situation : I have an root model that consists out of 50 unique subassemblies. Each subassembly is a configuration on its own. So I have to configure each subassembly with its own parameters, activity and dataset. This would mean I have to upload the dataset for each subassembly to its own bucket and run a workitem to configure this ? After running these 50 workitems, I have 50 configured results waiting in APS to be downloaded. What I can do is download these results and upload them again to another bucket to start assembling them all into my root assembly following there own rules defined in its appbundle.
Is this the way to go or can I share the results created by WI 1.. WI 50 by WI 51 ? This would mean that I can skip the download and upload of a lot of assemblies.
TIA,
Mark
There's no need to download and upload. When you POST WI 51 you could specify the outputs of WI 1..50 as inputs.

I am getting an issue running a Microsot Access Database (.accdb).
The application was made by a German colleague (using Ms Access in German language of course), now after I copied into my machine (I am using Ms Access in English language) I am getting the following prompts: "Enter parameters values" (see screenshot).
It is clear that the program is looking for values like "Auswahl_MinDate" , in the query I replaced all the code from "Formulare" to "Forms" - it has worked however it is still looking for 2 more values starting with Formulare.
I tried to check all the Forms, Query 1 by 1 however could not find significant results.
For example the 'Auswahl_MinDate' is a date picker control, hence I deleted and recreated but still...
Where else this 'Forumulare' could be set ?
Thanks.
If you can't find it in query parameters or SQL, it may be hidden in control properties.
Your best bet is probably a global search tool.

The 2nd post has an .accdb for Access 2016 (the original is .mdb)
You need to register to download the file.
Still available for download, but unfortunately not for purchase is Find and Replace by Rick Fisher (Shareware)

V 9.00k also works for Access 2016 / 365.
I don't remember if it stops working after 30 days or just keeps nagging.
When I try to load a big CSV from a zip file, the execution log give me the following error:
----------------------------------------- Error details ------------------------------------------
Component [Clientes:CLIENTES1] finished with status ERROR.
The size of data buffer is only 100663296. Set appropriate parameter in defaultProperties file.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
How can I set the appropriate parameter in defaultProperties file?
I tried this link, but my cloudconnect run configurations page is different from the link:
I've created the parameters file and filled the additional parameters with the right values like said the tutorial (code bellow) and the same error appear in the screen.
Name: -config; Value: new_buffer_size.txt
The new_buffer_size.txt content have just this line:DEFAULT_INTERNAL_IO_BUFFER_SIZE = 200000000
How can I solve this problem? I need to solve this before the world explodes.
CloudConnect is designed to develop ETL(s), which can be run on GoodData cloud workers and therefore some lower level settings are surpassed as in this case. The only legitimate way is to modify the ETL the way it can process the data with current settings. Regarding to docs, the referenced article is outdated. GoodData docs team is aware if it and they are preparing docs refactoring.
Note: As you have probably noticed, CloudConnect is being powered by Javlin's Clover ETL, therefore feel free to check their forums, as you would find there how to overcome the issue on lower level (no UI), but it would work only for data processing on the local machine.
My current set up for EA is hosted on MySQL DBMS and has version control with Subversion. I attempted to do a DBMS to File project transfer to one on a desktop which complete's successfully. However, when I open the target project it seems as if the source project did not transfer over at all. Has anyone come across this issue before?
Below is my logfile:

Most likely it's a missing table usystables. You need to recover it from some blank EAP file. See also this post: enter link description here
P.S. Or it's what Geert posted just a few seconds ago ;-)
Do you still have security set on the target model?
That can effectively cause this type of issue.
Solution is to remove security from the target model (or start with a blank target project)
I need to run a MS Access job as an automated task. I know Access isn't really built for this type of task, but I have MOST of it working except for one, critical part. In short, this is what it's supposed to do:
Generate a PDF report for a user
Generate an email for the user
Attach the PDF to the email
Send the email via SMTP
It works if a user is logged into a desktop session. The process needs to run as an automated process, without requiring a user to be logged in. Using Powershell and the built-in Task Scheduler (Windows 7 Ultimate, 64-bit), I'm able to get it running on schedule. But the Access code fails when it tries to save the PDF. Through experimentation, I learned that I need to save to the "My Documents" folder, and I have the process running as "me", but I keep getting the same error message:
8/18/2014 4:00:17 PM Report Error in <method name>
2302
-1

<project name> can't save the output data to the file you've selected.
MTS
So I suspect that if I select the correct location to save the PDF, it will work. Is there a special location that the system and/or Task Scheduler (TS) can save to? Is there a special way to share a folder that it will allow TS to write to it (without requiring a user to be logged in)?
I personally usually save all these types of files/reports into the %TEMP% folder, which seems appropriate for this application since it is only to store it until it is emailed.
I haven't had any permission issues saving into this folder yet.
If you're unfamiliar with %TEMP% you can search for Environ variables and there are usually different useful file paths to common folders used by the system e.g. %APPDATA%,%USERPROFILE%` etc
Thanks for all the input. After exhaustive testing--based on the response from ashareef above--I've demonstrated that it can't be done. I tried saving to the following environment variable locations:
TEMP
APPDATA
LOCALAPPDATA
PUBLIC
USERPROFILE
I also tried:
C:\Users
C:\Temp
C:\Users\<my user name>\Documents
And none of those worked if I set the task to run whether I was logged in or not:
One location does work, but only if I'm logged in and I set the task to run only when I'm logged in:
C:\Users\<my user name>\Documents
To sum up:
Saving a file from Access
Running as a Scheduled Task
Whether you're logged in or not
Is not possible! So here at work, we're going with Plan B. Thanks for your help!
I am submitting a "Tic-Tac-Toe" player app to Windows 8 Store. Do I need to include Game Definition File ? Will they certify my app even if I don't include one?
Be really careful with certification. Include all possible certificates and select only countries that accept these certificates. Yes, you should include GDF file. Again, you should include only certificates that you have to the GDF file. I lost more than a week while tried to submit right age raiting values for a simply puzzle game.
GDF file is very easy to create.
