Dash to Dock does not display unread message badge on Discord in Fedora - fedora

I use Fedora 37 and extension Dash to Dock v75. I can't get it to display unread message badge from Discord. At the same time, it works great with Telegram. Does anyone else have a similar problem? Can it be solved? enter image description here
I also did an experiment on Ubuntu 22.10 with the same version of Dash to Dock and Discord. the message badge is working. Perhaps I'm missing additional libraries in Fedora? Can someone conduct a similar experiment in their Fedora?
To run Discord, I use the binaries from the official site.

What setup is needed in my laptop browser for able to chat in messenger of website of FB plugin from the chrome and edge.
There was not a problem like one year before but I think since nearly one year this error came. I think there is something wrong with facebook chat plugin after they upgraded. I try to contact them but there is no proper support from facebook.
I hope someone will help to solve this issue.
Thanks in advance.
This is due to extension installed on browser and computer, but which extension I am not sure. I had extension like grammarly, dictionary, dashlane, radio and more before.
I have formatted my old hdd to upgrade ssd of my laptop. And I installed all new OS, and browser too. And it is working now.

Microsoft Translator Service sample app not working

When open the sample app from the link provided here, the sample opens as shown below. I then enter the Translator service key in the first input box. But when I click on the Get Languages button to select a language, the entire sample app disappear. I tried it several times but to no avail. I'm using Windows-10 Pro 1903
Question: What I may be missing here and how can we make it work?
this seems like a bug in our Sample App? It'd be great if you can file an issue on our GitHub repo here for tracking and resolution.
You could also try cloning our repo to build the sample app locally, see video about setting that up here, that way you could see the actual exception occurring and provide a bit more detail in the issue (or see what needs to be fixed and submit a PR).
Thanks!

Can't activate free trial on Google Cloud Platform

I also tried the Google Support, but a billing account ID is required to send the support form, and a billing account it is precisely what I am unable to create.
At the Google Cloud Platform, I click on the button "Try for Free" in top right corner and got stuck in the next screen "Try Cloud Platform for free" (this will occurs if I choose to create my first billing account). I do check "Yes" for both questions, click on the button above "AGREE AND CONTINUE", it turns into a spinning circle and stays forever like this. There is some JavaScript errors in the console: invalid source ''report-sample'' and ''strict-dynamic'', and finally failed to load resource, address family incompatible with protocols family. Tried on Safari and Chrome and also on FireFox in Windows 7 (VMWare Fusion).
I need this to keep my Google Maps working. Please Help!
The "Try Cloud Platform for free" page has finally worked today. Was a bug after all and they manage to correct it.
If you are reading this because your page is still freezing, try to clear all caches and local content of your browsers. If still won't work, I advise you to call Google support by phone.

Can't pay $5 to register as a Web Store Developer, because the button is missing

Chrome Version: Version 54.0.2840.99 m (64-bit)
OS: Windows 10
Extensions: None enabled
I want to upload an extension to the web store developer dashboard. Since it will be my first one I have to pay 5 dollars as an entry fee. When I tried the first time I was able to see a button to press that loaded the form in which I put my CC info.
But I had trouble with my cc and I had to try it again later. But now the button is missing from the page and there is nothing I can do to bring it back.
This is a picture that shows a screen shot with the button enabled and what I'm seeing right now.
Link here.
Does anyone here had a similar problem and knows how to deal with it?
It is known bug and being tracked at crbug.com/652178
I doubt whether Google Webstore team have fixed it yet, but as a workaround you can try updating your payment details at https://wallet.google.com , then retry. I got it solved earlier in same steps.
Hope it helps!

Download of Clickonce Application in Chrome marked as Malicious File

It seems that the latest update of Google Chrome 44 to 45 is blocking clickonce applications.
Our clickonce application is working fine and is in production for over weeks.
This morning we got reports that when users tried to download our application it straight end up in the Downloads tab with following message: "[...].application may harm your browsing experience, so Chrome has blocked it. Recover malicious file". After clicking that message a confirmation dialog is shown and if that gets accepted the user can download the application file.
Is anyone else having the same experience with their clickonce applications and do you have any idea how to get around with it?
Thanks for any ideas / help!
(I have sadly not enough reputation to post images, sorry for that)

It looks like it might have just been raised in the Chromium issue tracker:
https://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=532952
Quoting from there:
My understanding is that if Google has not scanned the file because it is unreachable or isn't aware of it (no public links so it can't be crawled), Chrome will block the application."
In latest version things are worse: There is only Suppress button next to the message "xxx may harm your browsing experience, so Chrome has blocked it" with no links for "recover". The trick is to click on Show all downloads button on far right. There you will see the link for recovering the file that Chrome unnecessarily deemed as malicious.
