Why does my site inherit the icon of a site redirected to? - html

I made a redirect system in my index.html file, and used it to redirect to https://google.com/. I went back to my site and it had inherited the google logo
I tried redirecting back to my own site, but it still had the google logo.
Then I tried redirecting to a different site, and my site inherited that site's icon

Link doesn't work properly after deploying site on firebase

I have a problem with my website after deploying it through firebase. I have a link in my navigation that takes me to my home page. This link takes me however to the 404 page. All other links work properly.
This is the website: https://investmentreports-e9ecb.firebaseapp.com/
P.S. the link to the index page is hidden in the logo.
In about page anchor contain public that why getting 404
Just remove .../public in about page header
All other pages header have just index.html
Happy coding...!

#links not sliding on Wordpress Landing page anymore (after installed https)

I have a website www.kasnupaisezvaigzdes.lt. I made it on WordPress landing page. Everything was good, but i decided to move that page to Https:// protocol (SSL).
Installed WordPress https SSl plugin to make sure that wp content would be 100 % https, not mixed with https and http, green lock appeared as well.
But landing page links #link, #link2 etc. are not sliding anymore. Instead page is refreshing on particular spot. How to make again pages land on https ?
Export your database. make a copy for safe side as backup. Now replace all the urls in the sql file to https:// instead of http://
This will solve the issue

How can I host a temporary video slpash page in front of an exisiting website that links back to the original original homepage

I have a client that wants to put a video splash page out in front of their current website to highlight a new video they recently produced. This video splash page would have to link through to the original website of course, but the client wants the video splash page to be what visitors see when they visit the site URL.
My thoughts so far are this:
Place the video splash page inside the existing site structure under a subfolder. As the hosting service to redirect to that subfolder's index.html when the URL is visited.
However, how would I then link back to the original webpage from the splash page if there is a redirect in place?

Website redirect when switching host

I have created a website for someone and while their new hosting was been set up I added a website redirect to my site.
Now that their hosting is set up I removed the redirect and strange things are happening depending on how you go to their site
If you go to www.example.com it redirects still
If you go to http://example.com it doesn't redirect
I've check everything including the .htaccess file can anyone help?
This is not coding issue it is a hosting setting you are asked priority of the website link to be used as wwww.example.com or example.com
you can change it
