on the home page of my dummy webapplication I want to display the top 5 sellers and the newest product. For this I am using a slide show. The slide show is already implemented. For the slides I want to use embedded HTML files with help of iframe tags. These embedded HTML files should display data loaded from mysql database.
The problem: how can I add a java entity to an iframe instead of adding it as an object to the ModelAndView? Is this even possible? Code snippet of the Spring controller (for loading the home page):
#RequestMapping(value={"","/"}, method = RequestMethod.GET)
public ModelAndView showHomePage() {
ModelAndView mv = new ModelAndView();
mv.setViewName("home");
List<ProductCategoryModel> productList = this.productRepository.getAllProductsByProductCategoryModel();
mv.addObject("productList",productList);
return mv;
}
Here I was adding all products as a list object to the home page view. Now inside the home.html, I would like to pass that list object to the iframe, but how? Here is the code snipped of the iframe (which is inside the div with id=slides__1):
<section>
<div class="slider-container">
<div class="slider">
<div class="slides">
<div id="slides__1" class="slide">
<iframe src="iframes/test.html" title="Top 5 Sellers"></iframe>
<a class="slide__prev" href="#slides__4" title="Next"></a>
<a class="slide__next" href="#slides__2" title="Next"></a>
</div>
<div id="slides__2" class="slide">
<span class="slide__text">2</span>
<a class="slide__prev" href="#slides__1" title="Prev"></a>
<a class="slide__next" href="#slides__3" title="Next"></a>
</div>
<div id="slides__3" class="slide">
<span class="slide__text">3</span>
<a class="slide__prev" href="#slides__2" title="Prev"></a>
<a class="slide__next" href="#slides__4" title="Next"></a>
</div>
<div id="slides__4" class="slide">
<span class="slide__text">4</span>
<a class="slide__prev" href="#slides__3" title="Prev"></a>
<a class="slide__next" href="#slides__1" title="Prev"></a>
</div>
</div>
<div class="slider__nav">
<a class="slider__navlink" href="#slides__1"></a>
<a class="slider__navlink" href="#slides__2"></a>
<a class="slider__navlink" href="#slides__3"></a>
<a class="slider__navlink" href="#slides__4"></a>
</div>
</div>
</div>
</section>
And now the HTML page (code snippet of the section) I want to embedd as iframe and that should load all products into a table. In this view I will access the list object with all products:
<section>
<div class="container">
<br><br><br>
<table class="table table-bordered table-striped" id="product-table">
<thead>
<tr>
<th>Image</th>
<th>Product Id</th>
<th>Category</th>
<th>Product Description</th>
<th>Price in $</th>
<th>Image Source</th>
<th>Enabled</th>
</tr>
</thead>
<tbody>
<tr th:each="product: ${productList}">
<td><img th:src="${product.productImgSource}" alt="productImg" width="50" height="50"></td>
<td th:text="${product.productId}"></td>
<td th:text="${product.categoryText}"></td>
<td th:text="${product.productDescription}"></td>
<td th:text="${product.productPrice}"></td>
<td th:text="${product.productImgSource}"></td>
<td th:text="${product.enabled}"></td>
</tr>
</tbody>
</table>
</div>
</section>
Note: finding the top 5 sellers is not implemented yet, I just wanted to test it first with all products. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Have a question about the HTML view related to the table.
In my HTML view, I have a table.
This is worked in a responsive way when changing the view.
Here I want to change the view that the responsive view comes with a scroll bar.
I want to change it to fit all columns to the view and wrap the column contents.
Any suggestions to do it?
<div class="col-md-12 col-sm-12 grid-margin stretch-card">
<div class="card shadow-card-l">
<div class="card-body">
<center><h4 class="card-title">Task Related Documents</h4></center>
<div class="table-responsive">
<table class="table">
<thead>
<tr>
<th>Document Type</th>
<th>Document Note</th>
<th>File Name</th>
<th></th>
</tr>
</thead>
<tbody>
#foreach (var item in Model.TaskFilesHistoryViewModel.OrderByDescending(x => x.Id))
{
<tr class="even pointer">
<td>#item.File_Type</td>
<td>#item.Note</td>
<td>#item.File_Name</td>
<td>
<a href="#Url.Action("DownloadTaskImage","Ajax", new { id = item.Id})" target="_blank" rel="publisher tag" class="btn btn-outline-info ti-import" />
<a href="#Url.Action("RetrieveTaskImage","Ajax", new { id = item.Id})" target="_blank" rel="publisher tag" class="btn btn-outline-success fa ti-eye" />
</td>
</tr>
}
</tbody>
</table>
</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
I am working with angular, html and css.
I build a widget that includes a table of 3*3.
For some reason, in the first upload - the table takes only 50 percent from the widget width.
It looks OK only after reload.
Does someone have an idea what could be the problem?
<div widget class="card">
<div class="card-header">
<span>Select service(s)</span>
<div class="widget-controls">
<a data-widgster="expand" href="#" class="transition"><i class="fa fa-chevron-down"></i></a>
<a data-widgster="collapse" href="#" class="transition"><i class="fa fa-chevron-up"></i></a>
<a data-widgster="fullscreen" href="#" class="transition"><i class="fa fa-expand"></i></a>
<a data-widgster="restore" href="#" class="transition"><i class="fa fa-compress"></i></a>
</div>
</div>
<table id="serviceTable">
<tr *ngFor="let eachService of [0,1,2]; let i = index">
<td *ngFor="let j of [0,1,2]" class="service-td" >
<div>
<input name="checkboxes" type="checkbox" (change)="changeListener($event, i+j)">
<span>osnat11111111</span>
</div>
</td>
</tr>
</table>
<br>
</div>
</div>
The css is:
.service-td
{
table-layout:fixed;
width:10vw;
overflow:hidden;
padding: 0.5vw;
}
Thanks,
Osnat
You can just try,
...
<div style = "width: 100%">
<table> ... </table>
</div>
width: 100% gives the same width of the CSS component to the child
I have a grid menu with specific css styling, and I want to convert that grid to a table so i can use jquery datatable, but i didn't know how
here is an item of my grid :
<div class="row menu-filter-items">
<div class="col-md-4 margin-b-30 menu-item">
<a href="#" class="menu-grid">
<img src="images/restolist.png" alt="" class="img-fluid"/>
<div class="menu-grid-desc">
<!-- <span class="price float-right">$9.50</span> -->
<h4 class="a" id="title">BB</h4>
<p>
Description
</p>
</div>
</a>
</div>
what would it be as an element of a <td> in a table ?
DataTables can integrate seamlessly with Bootstrap 3 using Bootstrap's table styling options to present an interface with a uniform design, based on Bootstrap.
This integration is done simply by including the DataTables Bootstrap files (CSS and JS) which will set the defaults needed for DataTables to be initialized as normal.

Example of Provided Code has Bootstrap Table
<link href="https://maxcdn.bootstrapcdn.com/bootstrap/3.3.7/css/bootstrap.min.css" rel="stylesheet"/>
<!-- Table Use Sample -->
<div class="container">
<table class="table">
<tr>
<td>
<a href="#">
<img src="http://via.placeholder.com/140x100" alt="" class="img-fluid"/>
</a>
</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>
<h4>BB</h4>
</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>
<p>
Description
</p>
</td>
</tr>
</table>
</div>
<script src="https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.12.4/jquery.min.js"></script>
<script src="https://maxcdn.bootstrapcdn.com/bootstrap/3.3.7/js/bootstrap.min.js"></script>
Wasn't sure how exactly you wanted the table formatted from the code you provided, but you get the idea.
Hope that helps.
I am trying to create an application using bootstrap and angularjs as practice and a simplified version of my application is illustrated in this pen: http://codepen.io/megadeen/pen/ZWrGmv
This is the main code:
<table class="main" ng-app="app" ng-controller="main">
<tr>
<td class="sidebar">
<!-- Set page using AngularJS -->
<a ng-click="page = 'fpage'">First Page</a>
<br>
<a ng-click="page = 'spage'">Second Page</a>
</td>
<td class="content">
<!-- First Page -->
<div class="fpage" ng-show="page == 'fpage'">
<div class="col-md-5">
.... Content ....
</div>
</div>
</div>
<!-- Second Page -->
<div class="spage" ng-show="page == 'spage'">
<div class="row">
<div class="col-md-7">
.... Content ....
</div>
</div>
</td>
</tr>
</table>
However, there's always this stray horizontal scrollbar that won't go away. This stray scrollbar only appears in the second and subsequent pages.
I tried adding the row class to the fpage and spage divs. However, if I do so, then the scrollbar appears in all pages.
Why does this happen and how do I correct this problem?
You should use col-md-12 instead of row.
Hi Im making a theme for my website which has a user menu in the top right corner of the page. This is inside a purple bar which also holds the title of the page. I have managed to get the user menu on the right hand side but I'm unable to get it into the top bar, it just sits bellow the bar. To see exactly what I mean here's a link to my site http://cpanel.gaigo.org
I believe it has something to do with the header div spreading accross the whole page but im unable to get it to shrink down to only fill 250px.
The HTML code is bellow:
<div id="headerWrap" style="position:fixed;width:100%; height:59px;z-index:1;background-color:#494158;">
<div id="header" style="width:250px;">
<h1 style="margin-bottom:0; margin-left:20px; color:#fff;" id="Title">GaiGO CPanel</h1>
</div>
<div id="userMenuButton" style="float:right;margin-right:10px;width:auto;">
<span style="color:#fff;">Hi, Riley Evans</span>
<img src="user.png" height="30" width="30"/>
</div>
</div>
Thanks for any responses in advance I'm sure they will help me figure this out.
You just try this code inside your body tag.I maked some changes inside your inline css in header,userbutton div id's
<div id="container">
<div id="headerWrap" style="position:fixed;width:100%; height:59px;z-index:1;background-color:#494158;">
<div id="header" style="width:250px;float:left">
<h1 style="margin-bottom:0; margin-left:20px; color:#fff;" id="Title">GaiGO CPanel</h1>
</div>
<div id="userMenuButton" style="float:right;margin-right:10px;width:auto;margin-top:25px;">
<span style="color:#fff;">Hi, Riley Evans</span>
<img src="user.png" height="30" width="30">
</div>
</div>
<div id="menuWrap" style="position:fixed; height:100%; z-index:0;">
<div id="menuHolder" style="background-color:#77bb66;height:inherit;width:50px;float:left;margin-top:21px;position:relative;">

<div id="contentHolder" style="margin-left:50px;">Content goes here</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
The div element automatically is given the display:block property/value. Try display:inline-block. Some additional tweaks may be necessary but this should get you on your way. You may also consider wrapping the code with span elements instead of div elements.
