I'm attempting to stylise my responsive table and would like for the background to consist of a gradient. My issue is that all styles being applied repeats itself in every cell and so it looks like a horrible image being duplicated.
Gradient I'm using:
background: linear-gradient(to right, rgb(170, 7, 107), rgb(97, 4, 95));
Table:
I understand that there are many td/th elements in the table and its possible for it to take on its own style, but how would I keep the colour consistent in each row?
Codepen
Can anyone guide me in the right direction?

You could add
background-attachment: fixed;
where you define the gradient.
If you scroll horizontally it might look a bit off, but this way it will use the browser's left and right edge for generating the gradient.

I'm trying to adjust the paragraph spacing and move it closer to the title, but Top or Bottom seems to be disabled when using flex-direction: column... What can I do to push up .par2?
Properties bottom and top work with position: absolute; elements. They don't work with other positions.
You have to use padding-top or margin-top with negative meaning (for example -10px).
And you can check properties margin and padding by headers ('CATORING', 'EVENT HOSTING', 'DELIVERY') using GoogleChrome Devtools. Most likely it is they who prevent the text from being located higher.

Hello im an very beginner of html/css i made an navigation bar and an footer till yet. So i wanted an background image now but its bugged idk why. I tested a couple of random images but its for every image. Can someone help me pls? Code and Screenshot of the Problem below
I tried background-repeat: no-repeat;
But i am a very beginer so i dont know what to do. I just want an normal background. The details are already described
* {
background-image: url(ttt.png);
}
The above code means you put every element a background image.
If you just want body with the background image, use below code
body {
background-image: url(ttt.png);
}
You also should set something like background-size to make the size you want.

I am working on my website development. While creating the portfolio page, I encountered the issue of the last column moving to next row.
I do have images larger than the parent container but I figured it out to display properly, however, after applying the margin the last column went to next row.
Please check the link below:
https://bootsnipp.com/user/snippets/o1e9d
I also wanted to add img-thumbnail class but it does not look proper and adding padding also didn't work as expected.
Please help.
Thank you.
You have added margin: 1px on bootstraps column class which breaks the last column.
Add another div inside gallery_product and apply border/margin to inner div.

When my site loads the view is correct but if you scroll right there is a gap. All div's have 100% width set and no padding on right... I went through each element to putting display:none trying to single the problamatic element but this didn't help either. A test version of the site is available at www.emma-cooper.co.uk
Take width:100%; out of the #logo CSS definition, and the right and left padding off the
div#hmenu definition (make it padding:0.8em 0;)

I am working on my website and have drawn up how I wish to display my pricing info. putting it all into the table is easy enough, and i have found most of the initial questions. i have a border on the left, right and bottom of each tag, which line up with the top 3 nicely and similar to my drawing. the only question I have is to remove the cellspacing from only the top or bottom of each row. i tried using the collapse cell code which works great, except, then it eliminates the border-radius i wish to have. Ideas?
