Effects of Switching to Primefaces 8.0 for ROMA layout - primefaces

I have newly started working with Primefaces. I had bought a ROMA layout last Christmas from PF. It was used with PF 7. Now if I switch to primefaces 8.0, would it break the ROMA layout ?
Or the layouts are agnostic of Primefaces versions?
Could someone please let me know. Thanks.

PrimeTek has updated all Premium layouts for PF 8.0. Please just log into your PrimeStore account and you will see a new version of your layout available for download.

Routing not working after angular upgrade

I upgraded my angular project from 2 to 13 version and after that multiple tabs are not working properlyenter image description here
In order to help you, we may need more information. But, from my experience, this is probably a problem with a deprecated package that doesnt work with newest angular versions. So, while upgrading to newer major angular versions:
Skipping major versions is not recommended.
You have to upgrade all third-party dependecies in your package.json to support the angular version that you are using. In order to do this, you should go to each corresponding library's documentation and read information about version compatibility.

Teams and PVA Adaptive Card Compatibility with 1.4

The new features of adaptive cards in v 1.3 and 1.4 (especially being able to replace a card as part of an execute action) are awesome.
Does anyone know when teams and PVA will be able to handle these newer versions ? After having watched some of the Microsoft videos and adaptive cards schema, it looks like this compatibility had been planned to already be available.
I am new to adaptive cards - a wonderful concept. I am developing bots using framework composer extension to PVA.
Thanks so much.
We are also excited about ACv1.4! I had a look at the roadmap but I don't see anything related to Adaptive Cards in the pipeline.

PrimeFaces 4.0 premium theme compatibility

Is PrimeFaces 4.x compatible with theme Ecuador or any premium theme ?
or i have to migrate my project to a specific version ,
please advise me before buying any theme
thanks
PF 4 is very old and you should DEFINITELY consider updating just for security reasons alone. It looks like most Premium Themes are compatible with PF 5 or PF 6+ from this blog post on PrimeFaces site.
https://www.primefaces.org/premium-layouts-and-themes-updated/
This update cycle brings compatibility with PrimeFaces 6.0, due to a
resource optimization in PF6, the menus of layouts were broken. We’ve
added the fix in a way that same layout can both work with 6.0 and
also 5.x. with version detection.
But once again I cannot recommend enough upgrading to PF 6.2 if possible to get the benefits of all the latest browser fixes and security fixes.

Am i supposed to use WP tookit for WP8 development?

I am new to WP 8 development. I want to add a Toggle switch to my application. However, I am not able to find the control in VS 2012 Toolbox.
A bit of Googling brought me to this WP 8 Toolkit Nuget package. Is the Toggle switch control used in WP 8 OS not available to developers directly? Do i have to use this toolkit only ?
Thanks in advance.
Got solution here : http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windowsphone/develop/jj735581(v=vs.105).aspx
Yes. We need to use WP Toolkit.

Installing HgEclipse for IBM RAD 7.0

I would like to hear if anybody has had luck with installing HgEclipse on IBM RAD (Rational Application Developer for WebSphere) 7.0? I'm asking this on behalf of my coworkers, who want to use Mercurial, but who cannot make HgEclipse work. Does anybody use this combination, perhaps with an older version of HgEclipse?
RAD 7.0 is built on top of Eclipse 3.2 -- I know this is neither the newest version of RAD nor the newest version of Eclipse but that's the versions they have to work with.
I doubt Eclipse 3.2 is supported.
Actually, ticket 10420 reports Eclipse 3.4 is not supported!...
Even the latest IBM RAD 7.5.5.1 is based only on Eclipse3.4 and would propably not support HgEclipse.
You can try with Rational Application Developer 8.0 Beta.
You find more information on this page.

FYI: The help does not list Mercurial as compatible software.
