Where can i store a Json for Roku to Parse? - json

With the closure of MyJson.com, where can a developer upload a json file to be parsed? I have completed my file with Json Feed Manager and uploaded the file to GitHub, but the ability to read to use the URL as a raw does not work any longer. I'm thinking this was turned into a paid feature vs. free. Some of the other Roku developers have hinted the best suggestion is to acquire a paid webhost and make a directory for json to be uploaded into it and point the Direct Publisher to the source.

I don't believe this is the case. You can still access raw content from GitHub through the domain https://raw.githubusercontent.com
Template:
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/<username>/<repository>/<branch>/<path-to-file>

Upload a file using the post node in Knime

I have a post endpoint that will accept some parameters like file and name in order for me to upload a file. I want to achieve this using Knime but I'm not sure how I can pass the file data to the post node.
What would be a minimal Knime flow that can read the data from a local file and
prepare it for the post node?
File uploads are typically done with so-called “multipart encoding”.
You can use the HTTP Retriever and its companion node Multipart Encoded HTTP Entity Creator from the Palladian package for that. Palladian is a versatile extension which provides nodes for text classification, HTML parsing, HTTP requests, and geo data extraction which is freely available for the free KNIME versions.
An example workflow how to do a file upload using the mentioned nodes can be found at the following URL on my NodePit Space:

Storing and loading data from react-native calendar to a JSON file

I'm currently thinking of a concept for a react-native app where people add events over a period of time like a diary/log. These events need to be exported and for security and privacy reasons I don't want to use a database. I've read you can use JSON files as a storage method, too.
How can I store data from the app to a JSON file and load the data from the JSON file back in the app? Don't need any code, helpful articles or webpages are appreciated
Assuming that you already have all the app data into a json, its rather simple.
Decide where to store the appdata.json, lets call it APP_DATA_PATH
Find a library to read/write files (I've only used expo-file-system)
On app boot, check if APP_DATA_PATH exists, if it does read the file and load into app, if not assume its a new user
Whenever app data changes, write the changes to APP_DATA_PATH

How to retrieve data directly from .json file present on GitHub?

I am developing a Dialogflow chatbot and I found an useful Q/A '.json' file on GitHub. Is it possible to retrieve data directly from GitHub to Dialogflow? if yes, how can I it ?
Maybe, you could try to make a GET request and trying to get a jsonp file.
But chances are, that GitHub doesn't allow CORS (Cross Origin Ressource Sharing).
You can only try it out yourself.
Fetch that file as a raw Github file which will have a similar link like this. https://raw.githubusercontent.com/google-research/bert/master/sample_text.txt

Can I upload a zip file with htmls or a zip file with json files using the Web Interface of Watson Retrieve and Rank service?

Can I upload a zip file with htmls or a zip file with json files using the Web Interface of Watson Retrieve and Rank service ?
No, the web interface doesn't support that. It will let you upload multiple doc/PDF files in parallel though, without needing to zip them (up to 50 at a time)
But if you've already got your content in the right JSON format, you can post it directly to the R&R collection (e.g. Using curl or your scripting language of choice) without the web interface anyway.
The content will show up in the web UI when you come back.

Is there any way to fill in Sharepoint entries via parsing text file?

My workplace has a whole bunch of unannotated .zip files that need to be uploaded to the new file server (Windows). I've used perl to parse through through the excel files within the .zip files to create an annotation.txt file for each .zip file that contains information about the .zip file. I have 1000's of zip files and do not want to manually enter in information for each entry if there's a way to automate it. I am proficient in perl and mysql, and wondering if there is any way to utilize my skillsets to port this information into the Microsoft Sharepoint website.
Thank you in advance for any advice or suggestions.
There a many, many ways to meet your requirement.
You could write a event receiver to parse the files once uploaded and set metadata.
A better approach for your use case might be to write a .NET based console application and reference Microsoft.SharePoint.Client and then upload your files using the Client side object model (CSOM) and set the metadata during that process as outlined here: Upload a document to a SharePoint list from Client Side Object Model
There are also REST and ASMX webservices that you could call from a non .NET runtime process.
Plenty of options, pick the one that fits your needs and skills best.
