When using onenote, it is really painful that I have to open the notebooks one by one, so is there a way to open multiple/all notebooks at a time?
You can open multiple instances of OneNote with shift click on the taskbar icon and have it opened in multiple instances

Lets say, one visited a Website, which loaded a js-module.
This module loaded some information into a form and the chrome browser displayed it.
Is it anyhow possible to restore this information (i.e. via the browser cache) and view it?
What I've tried so far:
View Source of Web-Page in Chrome, but i did not record the communication, so no data here
installed "ChromeCacheView v2.21 - Cache viewer for Google Chrome Web browser" and viewed the Files with Dates which correspond to the concerning session time
Regarding the second point: I can only view the js-files unfortunately.
Yes, but it depends on what device you are on. If you are on the computer, go into your google history and find the website you need. Then, you can copy the link and save it somewhere else.
Also, if you don't know how to get into your history, click control h.
I am looking for a way to upload files to One Drive using SSIS. I've researched and there are some third party tools like CozyRoc, KingswaySoft which provide one drive connection manager. Anyone out there who already have experience doing this? If so please share!
I found a much easier way to do this without the need of any third party software. Download one drive to your local machine and then login.
You can upload, download, delete files. To map the One Drive for Business cloud drive on Windows follow the below steps
Map network location in File Explorer (My Computer)
a. Open File Explorer (or My Computer in older Windows) and select This PC on the left side tree.
b. Click on Add Network Location button in the ribbon (or right click on empty space in File Explorer and select Add Network Location).
Map network location in File Explorer here
c. Click Next on Add Network Wizard window
d. Click to select Choose custom network location and click Next
e. Copy the URL from the address box and add Documents in the end like below example
https://<your Office365 tenant name>-my.sharepoint.com/personal/<yourrname>_company_com/Documents
Add Network Wizard window
f. Enter a name for your network location and click Next and Finish to complete the wizard.
network location name
g. You will find the mapped network location in My PC section.
Mapped Network location
Use File System Task to upload, create, delete etc.. And you're done.

So I currently have an add-on, it works fine. Something I am interested in doing is allowing the user to access the application without entering the document. I know this is possible with the Open With tab once a document is right-clicked but i don't want it sent away from the drive itself if that makes sense. Is there a way to bring up a sidebar within the drive itself once the Open With tab is selected? Or is there another way around this? I essentially just want the user to enter in data that will be assigned to the document but, currently as it's an add-on it only works on google docs files. Would it have to become an app?
Thanks everyone.
I recently made Google Chrome my default browser (mainly due to its bookmark and preferences syncing capabilities across multiple systems).
One thing I find increasingly annoying with it though is, that Chrome does not allow to directly open a downloaded file in an appropriate application!
In IE I was us to, that, when I clicked onto a link pointing to some document, e.g. a spreadsheet, to being asked, whether I wanted to save this document to a local file or to directly open it (in Excel in this example). This worked with all kinds of registered applications but also other formats, e.g. email addresses (mailto:-links) or Calendar entries (.ics-files) which directly opened Outlook's new email dialog with the email-address already filled int or created a new calendar entry from the .ics file, resp.
In Chrome one can only save such docs to a local file and then needs to locate that and has to open it manually. I find this always most cumbersome! Is there some plugin that allows to bring back the convenience I was used to?
And to spare me the usual comments on such feature requests right away: Yes, I am aware, that this is a potential security issue, if one opens docs from dubious sources, etc. I know, that one needs to understand what one is doing in such situations, but I think I do!
Click the little arrow beside the file, which is being downloaded and choose Always open files of this type. That will make it open automatically in the program the file type has been associated with in Windows after it finishes downloading.
This is stupid that I can't figure out how to do this. I'm in the SQL Reporting Services Report Manager website. I have some reports in a folder. I want to copy those reports to a different folder so that I can point those reports to a different datasource. I still need the original reports in their original folder, pointing to their original datasource.
It's very easy to select reports via checkbox and use the Move functionality, but there doesn't appear to be a way to copy?
Any ideas.
There is no easy way to copy reports in report manager.
I wrote a tool to help me copy reports between servers, you can use the same to copy on the same server too.
http://code.google.com/p/reportsync/
I know this question is old but here is how I copy a report to another folder:
I open the original report in Report Builder and use 'save as'.
Only way I know is manually, one by one. This is in SQL2005.
Navigate to the location of the report(s)
Show details
Click the Edit icon next to the report
On the General tab under the "Report Definition" section, click "Edit"
This prompts a Save File dialogue box. Save the .rdl file somewhere.
Repeat ad nauseum...
Now you can import those reports you've just saved to your new location.
After I wrote this I saw this was the same answer as jimconstable above! Damn!
This is a little late, but just in case someone else stumbles upon this thread. I find the easiest way is to click the drop down arrow to the right of the report you would like to copy. Select "Edit in Report Builder". Once that's open just "Save As". Works like a charm.
Within the Browser, if you open the folder then use the drop down there is a Download option.
I compared the file sizes between download and save-as and found them different, so I prefer the download option.
I don't think these is a simple way to do this. You could pull them all out by going to each report->properties tab->edit. This will let you download the report. Then you can upload it again to another folder. But that sounds like a PITA.
You would be probably be best off the upload from the BIDS to a different folder.
