Problem with querying database through AWS Lamda function (Node.js) - mysql

I am trying to write a simple AWS Lamda function in nodejs to read and return data from an AWS RDS mySQL database, but the code always only returns:
Response:null
when it is supposed to return the value 'Bbbb', which is the name of emp_id = 2 in my database.
Any help would be really appreciated!

Express taking forever to load mySQL query?

I'm trying to query a single line from a 28k record database as a test but it isn't going through but when I load up 'localhost:3001/api/get' it stays loading, even though my connection says success? Is it actually even connecting to the db?

First you must make server running. Remove that API route you had set before running server.

Now you must create database connection. Create new file dbconn.js

Error in delete DB record using Node.JS and MYSQL

I'm performing CRUD operations using MYSQL and NodeJS express. Their error in deleting a record from DB, I don't know why I was getting a problem as i have copied the delete query from SQL where it is working properly. Here it is 'DELETE FROM tblltest WHERE id=?'. I manually add 'id' like 'DELETE FROM tblltest WHERE id=2' then it will delete the record from DB. Please help me out to solve this issue. Here are my lines of code.

You need to access the id route parameter in your delete API Node method, and then also bind this id value to the delete query:

Query Mysql vs Node JS didn't return any result

I make a connection to mysql using node js,
connection is successful, event if i put a wrong port,
but query didn't return any results.

Following logic is incorrect. it says if not error then log error so you will never get your rows.

AWS Lambda and RDS working example (need it to work with Sequelize)

Here's a working example of AWS Lambda and MySQL, but I'd like it to work with Sequelize. How do I initialize Sequelize to work with AWS Lambda? I have the authenticated IAM role working too.

Also it's a good idea to keep your database connection parameters in a config file so no one can see them. (process.env)
We are working with Sequelize and Lambda, but you will need to reserve more resources, in our case we need at least 1GB to run a lambda with Sequelize. Without it, just with mysql2 it runs just with 128MB.
But if you really wanna use Sequelize just replace your createConnection for something like what you will find in sequelize doc
Probably you will use the context.callbackWaitsForEmptyEventLoop=true because you may have some issues when you call the callback function and you get nothing because your Event Loop probably will never be empty.

How do I create a MySQL connection pool while working with NodeJS and Express?

I am able to create a MySQL connection like this:

But I would rather like to initiate a pool and use it across my project.
Just to help some one in future, this worked for me:
I created a mysql connector file containing the pool:

There is some bugs in Utkarsh Kaushik solution:
if (err), the connection can not be released.
connection.release();
and when it has an err, next statement .query always execute although it gets an error and cause the app crashed.
when the result is null although query success, we need to check if the result is null in this case.
This solution worked well in my case:
