Animation Flip HTML5 and CSS3 Doubts - html

I need do the next animation of text:
People dissapears like a flip effect David Walsh Flip Card Effect, and the effect faces every 2 seconds and it will be repeating, contents the text: "Robots", "Animals", "Things" for example, with the flip animation.
Any idea?
One example of flip cards is the next: Stackoverflow How to flip multiple divs using CSS?

CSS Animation: fade out and translate text and fade back in but with larger font size

Is it possible to create an animation with CSS so that a given element (in the example, an h2 tag) when hovered moves a bit and fades out, and come back a few moments later fading in with a larger font-size.
Ideally:
This would occur on hover and the inverse when no longer hovering.
Without specifying the initial font size (in the example 2rem).
I've been trying some solutions with animations but so far nothing close to what I'm looking for.
Thanks
Edit: added short animation of what I was looking for (line is there for geometric reference of the text's position):
Edit2: the GIF if looping, but the text is supposed to remain large while the container element is hovered.
:root {
height: 100%;
background-color: lightgrey;
padding: 30px;
text-align: center;
}
h2 {
font-family: Arial;
font-size: 2rem;
}
:root:hover h2 {
font-size: 5rem;
animation: text 1s forwards ease-out;
}
#keyframes text {
0% {
transform: translateY(-30px);
opacity: 1;
}
50% {
opacity: 0;
}
100% {
}
}
<h2>TEXT</<h2>
Thank you for providing a snippet. Not sure this is what you opted for. I added a flex container to center the text, but this is optional.
:root {
height: 100%;
background-color: lightgrey;
padding: 30px;
text-align: center;
}
h2 {
font-family: Arial;
}
:root:hover h2 {
animation: text 1s forwards ease-out;
}
#keyframes text {
0% {
transform: translateY(0px);
opacity: 1;
}
25% {
transform: translateY(-30px);
opacity: 0;
font-size: 1rem;
}
50% {
opacity: 0;
}
75% {
opacity: 0;
transform: translateY(0px);
}
100% {
font-size: 5rem;
opacity: 1;
}
}
<div style="height: 150px; display:flex; align-items: center; justify-content: center;">
<h2>TEXT</h2>
</div>

The root element confuses me. Nevertheless, you can add a font-size and oppacity 0 at 50 percent. The element will return to the original place afterwards. The margin-top keeps the element with the bigger font size in place. Not sure if this is the ideal solution.
Maybe just personal preference. I have changed the animation to ease-in-out, see https://www.w3schools.com/css/css3_transitions.asp
:root {
height: 100%;
background-color: lightgrey;
text-align: center;
}
h2 {
font-family: Arial;
padding: 0px;
}
:root:hover h2 {
animation: text 3s forwards ease-in-out;
}
#keyframes text {
0% {
opacity: 1;
}
50% {
opacity: 0;
font-size: 2rem;
}
100% {
opacity: 1;
margin-top: 1.5rem;
font-size: 3.5rem;
}
}

how do i make a button fade in with css keyframes?

I'm trying to make my button fade in with keyframes but it isn't working and I know I'm doing something wrong. I ended up getting the animated text to work but this is giving me a headache and I cannot find info anywhere that has helped me... I'm new to web development so don't be too harsh on me or my (probably ugly and unorganized) code lol. I'm trying to learn as much as I can, so if you can please explain why it isn't working and why something else might? Thanks guys <3

You have some issues with your code first off. You are repeating both the head and body tags out of proper valid html sequence. Have a close look at the following page and resource from MDN: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/HTML/Element
As to your issue with keyframes, define the class you wish to control with the sequence in your css and add the animation with a unique call name, I used fadeIn. Below I have added Mozilla, webkit, opera and ms #keyframe animations for opacity. I am defining the animation to start the timer (3 seconds) #keyframe 0% { opacity: 0; } , then end at 100% { opacity: 1; }. I add multiple kits for different browsers.

Unexpected dip on keyframe start

I have a snippet which displays a text every 7 seconds. However at the beginning of each animation it performs an unexpected dip which i can't rule out. Can you find what it is?
Here's the pen.
.chillquote {
font-size: 1.5em;
line-height: 1.5em;
text-align: center;
padding: 1em;
color: var(--bodyColor);
height: 4em;
font-family: var(--usedH-font-stack);
}
div {
display: inline-block;
overflow: hidden;
}
div:first-of-type {
/* For increasing performance
ID/Class should've been used.
For a small demo
it's okaish for now */
animation: showup 7s infinite;
}
div:last-of-type {
width: 0px;
animation: reveal 7s infinite;
}
div:last-of-type span {
margin-left: -50rem;
animation: slidein 7s infinite;
}
#keyframes showup {

opacity: 0;
}
20% {
opacity: 1;
}
80% {
opacity: 1;
}
100% {
opacity: 0;
}
}
#keyframes slidein {

80% {

}
100% {

}
<div class="chillquote">
<div>

</div>
<div>
<span >
{{ randomQ.quote }}
<i><span style=" font-size: 0.5em;">~ {{ randomQ.author }}</span></i>
</span>
</div>
</div>
It's because you are using inline-block to display the all the divs.
When the text that appears starts out, you have a width of 0 set in the reveal animation - when it starts to appear you go from 0 to auto.
Since the quote text starts out as multi-line, the baseline changes so the Q "drops" down to the text baseline.
I've updated your pen to make the .chillquote display block and added classes to the other divs - because last-child and first-child were also effecting the .chillquote div because you never specified a child element.
I also set the final width to a percentage.
.chillquote {
font-size: 1.5em;
line-height: 1.5em;
text-align: left;

For centered text, we can use display: flex and animate the flex-basis property to max-content.

Hyperlink only partially clickable

So I have just started to learn HTML/CSS and I am trying to create a website for a magazine I'm putting together. However, when I try adding two links to two different pieces of text, one is only partially clickable and the one below is not.
I am thinking it has something to do with my wrapper or the photos I have right beside the text because when I align them more right, they're now clickable. Seems to be like something is blocking part of the word (link) to be clicked on.
I have tried making a sidebar instead but I still get the same result. I tried moving my code around for different results, but still cannot figure it out.
#wrapper {
margin: 0 auto;
width: 1140px;
}
.slider {
max-width: 457px;
height: 451px;
margin: 0 auto;
position: relative;
}
.slide1,
.slide2,
.slide3,
.slide4,
.slide5 {
position: absolute;
width: 100%;
height: 100%;
}
.slide1 {
background: url(TPWeb.jpg)no-repeat center;
background-size: cover;
animation: fade 80s infinite;
-webkit-animation: fade 20s infinite;
margin-top: 20px;

}
.slide2 {

.slider is overlapping the links since you're using a negative margin to move the links back up on the page.
A simple fix is to give the links a z-index by assigning position: relative
.ATA, .B {
position: relative;
}
#wrapper {
margin: 0 auto;
width: 1140px;
}
.slider {
max-width: 457px;
height: 451px;
margin: 0 auto;
position: relative;
}
.slide1,
.slide2,
.slide3,
.slide4,
.slide5 {
position: absolute;
width: 100%;
height: 100%;
}
.slide1 {
background: url(TPWeb.jpg)no-repeat center;
background-size: cover;
animation: fade 80s infinite;
-webkit-animation: fade 20s infinite;
margin-top: 20px;
margin-left: -155px;
}
.slide2 {
background: url(DS.jpg)no-repeat center;
background-size: cover;
animation: fade2 80s infinite;
-webkit-animation: fade2 20s infinite;
margin-top: 20px;
