Android Studio Gradle error: Missing project_info object - json

basically opening this question again because the answer is outdated, as the link now redirects to Firebase:
Gradle fails building with "Missing project_info object"
I want to attach the google-services.json file to my Android Studio project, and every time I try to download it from the developers API from Google, it gives me a json file with a large name that does't correspond to the tutorial's simple "google-services" and renaming it won't work because of this error.
Downloading it creating a new project doesn't seem possible for me now as it the page gives me another error when I click Configure a Project (I already did that before but left the project there without downloading the json file directly from there, which seems to be the problem).
Where can I safely get this file, and should I rename it or? Thanks in advance.

Apparently the solution is just following the link and creating the project with Firebase:
Then create or select a project and fill it with your app data that shoul look like this (the SHA-1 key should be found in your console log when clicking the button in the image:
Then add the lines of code that should be in your build.gradle(app level one and project level one), editing them with notepadd. Finally you need to sync these Gradle files, in Android Studio : File->Sync project with Gradle Files
The tutorial is very self explatanory, but for beginners like me, this could help.

Monodevelop fails to build, can't find Microsoft.DiaSymReader.Native.x86.dll'

I am trying to build a web api project using monodevelop on a mac. The thing is that after a few hiccups (explained in a question that turned out to be so messy I have just deleted) I get to the point of getting this error
/Users/myuser/git/LiveData/LiveData/CSC: Error CS0041: Unexpected error writing debug information -- 'Windows PDB writer is not available -- could not find Microsoft.DiaSymReader.Native.x86.dll' (CS0041) (LiveData)
In a windows machine the same project builds using visual studio targeting mono 4.5.
When I click on the error it tells me that /Users/myuser/git/LiveData/LiveData/CSC doesn't exist
Another thing is that in the folder structure of the solution there's a package folder (not the one inside the project) and inside this one I have a folder called Microsoft.Net.Compilers 1.3.2 that has inside another folder called "tools" that contains among other things csc.exe and the dll thta can't be found.
I have tried to install the dll directly in the project using nuget but even if it was installed the build showed me the same error
Thanks,
As for workaround for now you can just limit usage of Microsoft.Net.Compilers to Release configuration (edit *.csproj file):
<Import Project="..\packages\Microsoft.Net.Compilers.1.3.2\build\Microsoft.Net.Compilers.props" Condition="'$(Configuration)' == 'Release' And Exists('..\packages\Microsoft.Net.Compilers.1.3.2\build\Microsoft.Net.Compilers.props')" />
take a look at beginning of condition:
'$(Configuration)' == 'Release'
This way I can build and debug locally and build my project ie. in appharbor.
Building the project in release configuration should fix it!
This might not be completely related but may be helpful in some ways. Regarding the issue on 'could not find Microsoft.DiaSymReader.Native.x86.dll', have a look at this issue on GitHub: https://github.com/dotnet/cli/issues/3016
It seems like the solution is either:
Dependency to Microsoft.NETCore.Platforms needed for RID graph which
was missing. Any package which has transitive dependency on it (like
NETStandard.Library) could also make things work.
Adding dependency to "Microsoft.NETCore.Platforms": "1.0.1-" or
"NETStandard.Library":"1.5.0-" make it work.
adding Microsoft.NETCore.Platforms works as well

SAP HANA: not able to call xsjs file in HTML

I had an SAP UI5 application project in which one of the pages is product.html and a xsjs file getProductCat.xsjs.
Now I made some changes in HTMl page from notepad. When I try to open in HANA's web browser the changes are there but it is not able to connect to xsjs file. However, if I try to open through browser it connects to xsjs but the changes are not there, it seems it's opening the old file.
As I am new to SAP UI5 so I think I am missing some basic step.
Go to HANA client installation folder, run the following command line to get the help for HANA content activation:
C:\Program Files\sap\hdbclient>regi help activate
Action:
activate
What:
inactiveObjects (all inactive objects in the current workspace)
package (all objects in a package)
packages (all objects in a package and its sub-packages)
trackedPackages (all objects in all tracked packages and their sub-packages)
object (specific objects)
Call "regi help activate <WHAT>" for more information.
after you changed the xsjs file, did you activate it? You need to setup your workspace for the xs app. Did you?
Actually, this is not sapui5 question. This is a HANA XS application related question.

cocos2d-x Get data from file (xxx.ccbi) failed

Anyone has the same trouble? It happpens when i want to load the ccbi file into the cocos2d-x project.I have debuged it .The resources path is correct.Maybe it's the version problem of cocosbuilde...Any help appreciated.
i just code as below ,here is the code link:
http://www.plungeinteractive.com/blog/2012/12/26/cocosbuilder-and-cocos2d-x-helloworld-example/
May be it's because of version incompatibility between CocosBuilder and CCBReader as you said. If it is check your log for confirmation.
In XCode if we do folder references for new files sometimes it doesn't includes it properly on next Build. Clear and Rebuilding solves this.
One more time properly check Resource is correct path or not.

C++ Builder - Project x.exe raised exception class ELUInvalidResLibrary with message 'Invalid resource

I'm using C++ Builder 2009 project which I'm trying to internationalize using korzh localizer plugin.
When I run my application and try to Initialize the language menu, I get an Exception of:
Project abc.exe raised exception class ELUInvalidResLibrary with message 'Invalid resource file format "C:\path\to\exe\abc.exe"'.
I find the resource reference to the executable seems a bit goofy. Any ideas?
Progress Update:
I have another project which is translating properly. So I referneced it. I noticed I was missing the abc_klr.res file in the project, so I added it and it got me past that exception on the LocalizerOnFly->Init(), but I get a similar exception when trying to change the language. The difference is the executable is no longer referenced and instead I get a "" as the resource reference... Below is a screen shot:
So my problem was fixed in two steps:
Add the resource file to the project then rebuild.
Clean the project and deploy directory of any translation related
files, then refresh the language files.
Things are groovy again.

Adding an external jar library to Intellij IDEA

I'm having a silly problem : I'm trying to add the Jsoup library (which is just an external jar) to my android application developed in Intellij Idea and it seems and don't do it right .
I put the library in the libs folder , then I went in Project Structure -> modules and selected dependencies , select add global library , select attach source and click ok.
When I write code it is able to automatically import classes and to compile , but when running I get " java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org.jsoup.Jsoup"
Copy the .jar file into your lib/ directory.
Right click the new .jar in the lefthand file browser in IntelliJ / Android Studio
Choose "Add as Library..."
Voila!
-Open the External Libraries node on the Left hand panel.
-Select Open Library Settings
-Project structure dialogue opens up.
Select the Libraries.
Click the "+" to browse the file.
![add external jar1
In IntelliJ IDEA 15 you can also access the Project Structure menu item from "File" item in the menu bar. Select Libraries from the list on the left. Click the "+" to browse the file, select it and you're done. It will be added to the "External Libraries" directory in your project.
Have a look at the newer artifacts section. Perhaps you don't add the JAR into your deployment properly.
UPDATE:
I'd like to update my answer based on lessons learned over the past six years since I first answered this question.
The best way to manage 3rd party JAR dependencies in Java projects is to learn Maven (my preference) or Gradle. IntelliJ has terrific integration with both.
If you combine those with an enterprise repository like Nexus you'll have no problems. Your dependencies and versions will be completely specified. Conflicts will be identified for you. Updates will be relatively simple.
