Need logo in center of page section excluding left sidebar(header) in squarespace WELLS template on all format mobile,desktop etc.I am trying to figure out but no result.following is my code
$(document).ready(function(){
$('#headerWrapper #header ').after('<div id="logo1" data-content-field="site-title"><h1 class="logo image" data-shrink-original-size="23" style="letter-spacing: 0.0869565em;"><img src="//static1.squarespace.com/static/5adfd10929711421a9b29d21/t/5adfdbac562fa79909bad158/1524908392416/?format=750w" alt="L ETO BRIDAL" width="130" height=50"></h1></div>');
});
#logo{display:none;}
#headerWrapper{top:4px!important}
#logo1 h1 a img {
height:70px!important;
}
#logo1 {
left: 300%;
position: absolute;
text-align: center !important;
top: 10px !important;
transform: translateX(-50%);
Based on your current CSS, this should do it:
#logo {
width: 100%;
text-align: center;
}
#media (min-width: 801px) {
#logo {
position: fixed;
width: calc(100% - 340px);
top: 0;
margin-left: 240px;
box-sizing: border-box;
background-color: #ffffff85;
padding: .5rem 0;
border-bottom: 1px solid #fff;
}
}
Note: in current form, your question is not really useful to future visitors.
You can read the structure i made below using w3.css from w3schools. I have given a border colour to every div so you can see the boundary of that div and it will make it easy to learn for you.
.outer
{
border:1px solid red;
min-height:100px;
width:100%;
}
.inner-left
{
border:1px solid green;
}
.inner-right
{
border:1px solid blue;
}
.centetr
{
text-align:center;
}
.photo
{
width:95%;
margin:0px auto;
height:40px;
}
<link rel="stylesheet" href="https://www.w3schools.com/w3css/4/w3.css">

Im having an issue where I want my header to be fixed to the top of the web browser, same with the nav bar i made. Problem is, when I change the size of the web browser, the header covers the content and moves the nav bar. How can I solve this?

Put both elements inside a container and make this container fixed instead of using two elements with position: fixed.
They are both put out of flow and thus they will not be affected by each other (thus the navigation bar will be overlapped by the h1 when there is not enough width for the content so that it has to break the line)
https://jsfiddle.net/7ntdes6t/
I'd start by wrapping your header and nav bar in it's own tag, like:
<header class='header-fixed'>
<h1>Knox Enterprises Inc.</h1>
<div class="nav">
Home
About
Contact
</div>
</header>
Then, you only have to worry about one fixed-position element.
From there, you have some options.
You could use javascript to watch for window resizes and adjust the margin-top on your accordingly.
You could figure up exactly how tall your header is at common browser sizes, and use media queries to adjust the rest.
Edit:
Actually, you know what would be easier?
<header>
...
</header>
<div id="Content">
...
</div>
header {
height: 120px;
}
#content {
height: calc(100% - 120px);
overflow-y: scroll;
}
If you can figure out exactly how tall your header is, then you could use calc() to set the height of the rest of your content, and actually make that div the part that scrolls. At that point, you don't need fixed positioning.
I'm create html page called AboutUs.html. I was tasked to complete the page but there is a problem. I want to align the three box in horizontally something like this:
but I try using some CSS code but still could not align in horizontal.
Wrong Output:
I want the first box to be left, for second box to be center and the third box to be right. Can anyone please help me fix this problem.

Just add
.image {
float: left;
}
and remove the float from this
#about_team {
/* float:left; */
margin: auto;
height:400px;
padding-top:37px;
padding-left:20px;
}
You can use CSS Flexbox. Make your three .image divs wrap under a parent div (.image-block - in my case).
Look at this Codepen
Something like this:
.image-block {
display: flex;
justify-content: center;
}
.image {
margin-right: 10px;
text-align: center;
}
<div class="image-block">
<div class="image">
<img src="http://placehold.it/200x200" alt="Alex Morrales" width="150" height="150">
<p>Alex Morrales</p>
</div>
<div class="image">
<img src="http://placehold.it/200x200" alt="David Kim" width="150" height="150">
<p>David Kim</p>
</div>
<div class="image">
<img src="http://placehold.it/200x200" alt="Jenny Tabers" width="150" height="150">
<p>Jenny</p>
</div>
</div>
Hope this helps!
Add width: 3 times (imageWidth+margin) into #about_team and add width: 150px and display: inline-block into .image. font-size: 0 in #about_team is to remove space between inline-block element, and you need to restore the size in the .image.
#about_team {
width: 480px;
float: right;
font-size: 0;
}
#about_team .image{
display: inline-block;
width: 150px;
margin-right: 10px;
font-size: 14px;
}

I have used flexbox already to try this, but for some reason it isn't working. On a smaller screen size, everything's centered. I tried doing justify-content: center for flexbox, but that isn't working. I will put down the code snippet as well as screen shots showing what I'm seeing. You may look at snippet, but it uses a combination of percents and pixels, so it may look weird. Can I handle simple centering without media queries? Even if I did use one, I still can't get it to center on my desktop.

erase float:left; from #content and add margin: 0 auto to it.
You can either give your #content the CSS of margin: 0 auto;, like so:
#content {
margin: 0 auto;
}
(Maybe you will also have to not float it to the left)
Or you could take a look at other modern possibilities for centering an element:
https://css-tricks.com/centering-percentage-widthheight-elements/
https://css-tricks.com/centering-in-the-unknown/
https://codemyviews.com/blog/how-to-center-anything-with-css
I want the footer to stay at the bottom of the page. Right now, it's at the top... I've posted my html and all my css so you can see. I figured it might be easier to do it that way? I've tried to add containers that stretch the body to the bottom, but it messes with my other containers on the page and makes them fall off way into the top. I need a quick answer because this is due in a week!

<li>Questions</li>
<li>Suggestions</li>

<div id="horizon">
<div id="stuff">
<h2> Welcome! </h2><br>
<p>This is a page that I have created for all my jewelry. This will be updated with new information periodically.</p>
</div>
</div>
<footer>
<a href="">
<img height="32" width="32" alt="'s Deviantart" src="deviantart.png">

<a href="">
<img height="32" width="32" alt="'s Think Jewelry Page" src="facebook.png">

</footer>
you could simply set a div with a position of absolute. It would look something like this:
html:
<div id='footer'></div>
css:
#footer{
height:45px;
width:100%;
background-color:grey;
position:absolute;
bottom:0;
}
You can use a fixed footer:
HTML
<footer>
...
</footer>
CSS
footer {
position: fixed;
left: 0px;
bottom: 0px;
height: 150px;
width: 100%;
}
The footer will always be visible in the viewport at the bottom of your page, check out this codepen.
If you are looking for a sticky footer approach check this.
For a sticky footer that is always present at the end of main content, I’ve always found using a wrapper containing a negative push div (set as the same size as the required footer) is a simple, yet the most solid approach.
CSS
* {
margin: 0;
}
html, body {
height: 100%;
}
.wrapper {
height: auto !important;
height: 100%;
min-height: 100%;
margin: 0 auto -150px;
}
.push {
height: 150px;
}
footer {
height: 150px;
background-color: #900; /*red */
}
HTML
<html>
<head>
<!-- -->
</head>
<body>
<div class="wrapper">
<p>Main Content</p>
<!-- -->
<div class="push"></div>
</div>
<footer>
<p>Footer Content</p>
<!-- -->
</footer>
</body>
</html>
See codepen example here:

Simply change the push div and footer heights to be the desired height (in my example 150px) and the wrapper's bottom margin to be a negative of that height (ie. -150px in my example)
You can try like this,
footer
{
position:fixed;
}
When i do my web design, meet a problem when i need to do
[LEFT LOGO] then [TITLE(CENTER)] then [RIGHT LOGO]
The problem appear at RIGHT LOGO there, it doesn't align with LEFT LOGO.
The right logo is under the line of TITLE(CENTER)
here is my code sample, thanks:
<div class="navigation">
<div id="left">
<a title="Multimedia" href="#">
<img src="images/logo.png"/>
</a>
</div>
<div id="title">Tutor Program</div>
<div id="right">
<a href="#" title="Inspire and Innovate">
<img src="images/tagline_alt.png"/>
</a>
</div>
css:
.navigation{
height:auto;
background-color:#666;
width:85%;
margin:auto;
min-width:800px;
}
#title{
text-align:center;
margin: auto;
font-family:‘Arial Black’, Gadget, sans-serif;
font-size: 20px;
color: #FFF;
}
#left {
float: left;text-align:left;
margin: auto;
}
#right {
float: right;text-align:right;
margin: auto;
}
a img { border: 0; }
simply move the right container above the left container check below
<div class="navigation">
<div id="right">
<a href="#" title="Inspire and Innovate">
<img src="images/tagline_alt.png"/>
</a>
</div>
<div id="left">
<a title="Multimedia" href="#">
<img src="images/logo.png"/>
</a>
</div>
<div id="title">Tutor Program</div>
</div>
I thing its work an another way i have some changes in style width depends of logo width. if it is not set in center then change the width %.
#title{
text-align:center;
margin: auto;
font-family:'Arial Black', Gadget, sans-serif;
font-size: 20px;
color: #FFF;
width:59%;
float:left;
}
.clear {
clear:both;
margin:0px;
font-size:0px;
}
and add a div after the last div with class clear.
<div id="right"> .... </div>
<div class="clear"> </div>
You could also display your divs as a table and table-cells, like this:
HTML
<div class="navigation">
<div id="left">
left
</div>
<div id="title">
title
</div>
<div id="right">
right
</div>
</div>
CSS
.navigation {
width: 100%;
display: table;
table-layout: fixed;
}
.navigation > div {
display: table-cell;
}
.navigation div:nth-child(1) {
background: lightgray;
}
.navigation div:nth-child(2) {
background: gray;
text-align: center;
}
.navigation div:nth-child(3) {
background: lightgray;
text-align: right;
}
