I use Codename One to code my app. I've defined my UserLocationListener and use it successfully with the LocationManager.
In the main class' stop method I set LocationManager.setLocationListener (null) and the location icon disappears when the app is minimized.
However I'm also using a MapContainer with setShowMyLocation (true) and when the app gets minimized from a form that does not show the MapContainer the Location icon remains in the Android (Nougat) bar. Same behaviour when I get back to the form with the map from a form without it and then minimize the app.
Please note that if I don't setShowMyLocation (true) the icon disappears from whichever form.
Furthermore in the stop method I setShowMyLocation (false) but it looks like the listener does not stop.
What can I do to ensure that the location goes off when my app is minimized?
Thanks in advance
Each Time I'm using this console I'm struggeling with my mouse to click on the editable line.
So two question :
Is there a way of enlarging this line so it easier to click on it ?
Is there a command to navigate to it ?
The only way to enlarge it is to create a custom theme for DevTools, enable the experiment for using custom themes, and then installing your extension. That way you can get custom CSS into the top-level DevTools scope to modify things.
You may open a bug report on the chromium issue tracker against the DevTools so the team can assess the UX to see if there is anything they should modify internally.
I don't know what I've switched on (by accident) but every time I have the Inspect Element area open and then try to click anything on the webpage not within the Inspect Element area (especially something jQuery related like a slideshow for example) it greys the page, shows a message saying 'Paused in debugger' and then opens a jQuery file within the Sources section of Inspect Element.
Within the 'Call Stack' area, it shows a message saying 'Paused on a "click" Event Listener'.
I don't remember switching this feature on but I'm keen for it to be switched off.
I know this question has been asked before - I thought I'd found the answer when everyone suggested we look to see if the 'Pause' option is switched on (blue). However, it's not switched on, it's grey not blue or any other colour and when I hover over it, it says "Don't pause on exceptions. Click to Pause on all exceptions".
You might also check the Source tab, check under the Event Listener Breakpoints panel if you've set any breakpoints under 'Mouse'.
This can also cause the issue
Break Point icon at top left should be blue like this(For Deactivate BreakPoints)
Should not grey like this
Found solution here, if the little octagonal stop/pause sign (at lower left of Chrome "Sources") is colored (blue or purple), you need to click on it until it's black again.
It did drive me nuts for a short while.....scroll all the way to the bottom of breakpoint window and you'll find XHR Breakpoints & under it there is the Any XHR checkbox...
Goto the sources tab and check all breakpoints.
Go to Elements tab and remove all breakpoints from right pane under DOM Breakpoints
One possible cause, it that you've enabled the "pause on exceptions" (the little stop-sign shaped icon with the pause (||) symbol with in in the lower left of the window). Try clicking that back to the off/grey state (not red nor blue states) and reload the page.
For me, I resolved it by temporarily disabling the Chrome Bitwarden extension.
You could check to see in the Sources tab in the devtools panel to see what is causing this error, it could be an extension.
To open the devtools panel on Chrome, press the F12 key.
For Visual Studio Users, just go Tools>Options>Debugging and make disabled it
When interacting with a RichEditableText component especially when i click copy i get the following error message:
Error #2191: The Clipboard.generalClipboard object may only be written to as the result of user interaction, for example by a mouse click or button press.
The above error is reproducable sometimes in mozilla firefox browser. It is working fine in IE.
Can any one tell me how to handle that error in flex.
from google search i found that it is a bug http://tech.dir.groups.yahoo.com/group/flexcoders/message/159638.
When writing code sometimes those red error icons pop up on the left side. Most of the time they are on point, but sometimes they are wrong. How can I hide them. They annoy me too much.
The red ones are proper errors, I am concerned about that they should actually be "wrong". The yellow (or orange) ones are warnings which can be hidden by using proper AS3 syntax.

By default when you save your code in process of editing Flash Builder performs rebuilding of your project and if you have some errors in file (unfinished lines for example) it shows them as red markers.
If you want to control build process manually you can go to the Project menu and deselect Build Automatically. Now you can invoke build process manually to show error markers when you want. Just go to the same Project menu and select Build project. You can even assign keyboard shortcut for this operation.
Hope this helps!
