Publish windows phone 8 silverlight app - windows-store-apps

I am having windows phone 8 silverlight app. I need to publish it on Windows store. Can you please provide or explain step by step guide to publish this app in store.
Stackoverflow link discussed already. But after changing the values in files manually what need to do after tha?
I followed the steps mention here, but i am getting certification issue after submitting app.

This is a guide to publishing applications in Windows Store. Important -Silverligth app supported only Windows Phone and not supported Windows 8 and Windows 10. For supported Windows RT you need to make migration to universal app.

Windows App certification kit is very nice utility. Before publishing app use this app for analysis. When i run analysis of my XAP file using this utility, I found that i was using some default images that was main issue in certification failure. Now i am updating that. And will let you if this works or not.

How to package and upload my Cordova App to Windows Store from Visual Studio 2013

We paid a developer account in Windows Store (enterprise).
We created a Cordova 3.7 app for Windows Phone 8.1 and even we could test directly on a phone with Windows 8.1 from Visual Studio 2013 and everything worked in the hardware.
therefore, We begin to fill in the details for the App We need to publish in the store.
There is a section in which we are asked to upload a packaged App so here We have the chance of selecting it on the disk.
Our problem is We don't know how to create the pack and where in the disk Visual Studio left it.
We started to search in msdn.microsoft.com and these are the ideas we could get (but still couldn't make a pack):
1) Every where in MSDN they talk about a STORE option on Visual Studio. We can see this option in the ppal menu but all its options are disabled.
But in a forum, after searching a lot, We could figure out that this is normal for Cordova Apps on Visual Studio 2013 because they are considered as Silverlight Apps.
Then We find out again a doc in MSDN about uploading Silverlight Apps to Win Store. They say this kind of Apps must be packed and uploaded by hand.
2) So We focused in find out how to prepare a Windows Phone Silverlight 8.1 app for publishing.
This is a link in MSDN :http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/apps/dn655122(v=vs.105).aspx
But a new problem comes out, We don’t have any Package.appxmanifest.xml file in our project but only have aWMAppManifest.xml file.
We finally find out only Windows Phone 8.1 projects on Visual Studio have the Package.appxmanifest.xml file and it seems that my Cordova Project was generated like a kind of a Win Phone 8.0, what is not that bad because we want our App to be supported by Windows P. 8.0 and 8.1 devices.
But at the end of all this journey, we are stuck at the first step again. So we realized we don't know how pack a Windows Phone 8 (Cordova) App in order to be uploaded to Windows Store.
How and where Visual Studio 2013 make the pack and what is the extension name of this file.
The App, as I said, is ok and can be deployed and executed OK in a real phone from Visual Studio (run button)
Sorry, We know the question is large but We wanted to clear what We had reached so you know What We are asking and What We could have done bad just in case.
Thanks in advance, We think a lot of people could profit of the answer of experts in this matter because a summary is needed, the info in MSDN seem disperse.
You cannot upload a Windows Phone Silverlight xap to the Windows Store, only to the Windows Phone store. To upload to the Windows Phone store you won't need the Package.appxmanifest for a Windows Phone 8 app (only for a Windows Phone 8.1 app).
You'll upload the xap file created when you build for release with the normal build process. You don't need to do any further modifications for a Silverlight app.
You can create either Windows Phone or Windows Store apps with Visual Studio Tools for Apache Cordova
Use Project->Store->Create App Packages.. from visual studio menu.

Error code 80073cf9 when installing my own app from Store

I get the error code 80073cf9 when I try to install an 8.1 app (.appx) from the Store on my 920 with 8.1 Preview.
The app is 8.1 only and I'm able to run it and install it when deploying from my laptop.
I have the development build installed on my phone.
Solution
Uninstall the development build from your phone and then you will be able to download the app from Store.
Some interesting facts
Since 8.1 (.appx) you can not install an app from Store if you already have the app installed. This include your development builds deployed from your computer.
Before 8.1 (.xap) you were able to run both your development build and the Store app at the same time. This was since the Store changed the GUID of the app when it was uploaded. For some reason Store doesn't change the GUID of the uploaded app anymore.
I also meet the error 80073CF9. With my case, the reason is the setting of memory location. I reproduced the issue as below:
1. I chose phone memory to install apps
2. Second, I updated the phone from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10. Somehow, I changed to SD card memory to install apps.
3. After upgrading to Windows 10, some apps had to be reinstalled, but the error 80073CF9 raised. At that moment, the phone still used SD card memory to install apps, not the same as the original memory.
--> I switch the memory to install apps from SD card to phone (Setting / Storage / Store new apps on my Phone. It's done.
Conclusion with my case: The memory in order to install application has been changed
I had the same problem on my Lumia 730.
Solution: Go to settings->Tap on storage sense->temporary files-> delete

Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8 Over the air installation of apps

Is there a way to install signed applications over the air on the windows 8 and windows phone 8 platforms?
I'm looking for something similar to iOS wireless app distribution with its itms-services:// uri scheme. Basically, I want to direct users to a web page where they can download and install a signed application package on their device by clicking a link.
But it seems (from the information I gathered from the available documentation) that Microsoft allow app installation only by using the Windows Store, or by Sideloading (in the case of Windows RT, 8 Pro and 8 Entreprise) or by enrolling users phones for company app distribution (in the case of Windows Phone 8).
are these really the only methods available?
Thanks in advance.
For the Phone you could use the beta testing feature. It will not show in the store and only be available for users you have registered via their Microsoft account formerly Live ID. The app will run through certification and therefore will not be hosted on your own server.
For Windows 8.x you will still have to go the side loading route as there is currently no beta testing feature available.

Online mobile app builder in windows phone 8

I want to make windows phone 8 app.In which i want to integrate online builder tool to create online mobile app and download xap file on device.is there any API present for it ?
That is not supported on Windows Phone. You can only sideload apps under certain conditions (such as having a dev account or I think a max of 2 apps).
Either way, you have to install it using MS tools, there are no API's available
No there isn't. There are a few options for installing xap files.
Install it in a developer unlocked device using the SDK tools
Publish it as a beta, selected users can download it from the store
Publish it the normal way (duh)
Company deployment.

Windows Phone 8 and D3DCompiler

For now in windows RT it is possible to access D3DCompiler.h, but application will not pass the store test (this is corrected in windows 8.1).
Is there a way to add D3DCompiler in windows phone project? (Mostly I need reflection support, shaders are generally precompiled). I tried to add the ARM build reference but it doens't seem it wants to include it (some xap security?).
Please note that for now I don't need store deployments, so if it works for development purposes that's fine (and either c++/sharpDX solution is pretty welcomed).
D3DCompiler was not available for 'production' use with Windows Store apps for Windows 8.0 or Windows phone 8.0. It was available for development, but the D3DCompiler #46 DLL itself will not pass the WACK tool for submission to the store.
It is available with Windows Store apps for Windows 8.1 and Windows phone 8.1. The D3DCompiler #47 DLL is included as part of the OS now. See this blog post.
