Select specific data in JSON output - json

I've created a function that does a http request and then saves some data from the JSON output.

This function saves the title, release date en posterpath and that works fine. The problem is that it only saves one release_date while the JSON output has a lot more, but I don't know how to acces that.

How would I go about saving the release date for the NL release?

You just need to iterate through the countries array, and check if the country code matches the one you wish to retrieve. For your example with 'NL':

This is just one of many ways to do this (e.g. you could use angular.forEach, wrap it inside a function, etc.), but this should give you an idea.
Remark: I noticed you have been asking a lot of very basic questions today, which you could easily answer yourself with a bit more research. E.g. this question is not even AngularJS related, but just a simple JavaScript task. So maybe try to show a bit more initiative next time! ;)

JSON.parse converts a JSON object to String.

If this is in Json format you can access it's elements using JSONObjectName.fieldName
But,if it's converted to String it looses it's JSON properties. You can't access fields in same way. Output will act like String.

There are two kinds of response back asynchronous and synchronous. Synchronous call is like you will not start playing until you get a pass and score a goal. But, Asynchronous call is like you start playing with your friend but, you run near him and, there is a promise you won't shoot until you get the ball.
readFileSync will read the file and the next line will wait until it gets the pass.JSON.parse() will convert file content to JSON object.
And explanation on how duplicateNotes works ..

Whenever a match is found , that element in notes will be pushed to duplicate note. That's all.

Pass a random JSON pair into an aframe component

Edit 3: The code is now working across numerous objects (thanks to Noam) and he has also helped in getting the random function working alongside it. I'll update the code in the question once its implemented.
Edit 2: I've taken #Noam Almosnino's answer and am now trying to apply it to an Array with numerous objects (unsuccessfully). Here's the Remix link. Please help!
Edit: I've taken some feedback and found this page which talks about using a JSON.parse function. I've edited the code to reflect the new changes but I still can't figure out exactly whats missing.
Original: I thought this previous answer would help in my attempt to parse a json file and return a random string and its related pair (e.g Title-Platform), but I couldn't get it to work. My goal is to render the output as a text item in my scene. I've really enjoyed working with A-frame but am having a hard time finding documentation that can help me in this regard. To load the json, I think you need to use an XMLHttpRequest (as Diego pointed out in the comments), when that's loaded, you can set the text through setAttribute.

How to update objects using Cloud Code?

I am using Parse Cloud Code for retrieving JSON data from external API. JSON data are updated every 2 min.
To accomplish this, I am using Cloud Job to run my method every 2 minutes to keep data fresh. Also, I am storing whole JSON data to Parse.
When I run this code for the first time everything works well, but... when code runs for second, third or fourth time instead of updating objects it creates the new ones.
How to update objects instead of creating the new ones, when there are some data?

SOLUTION
I have finally found the solution. Maybe this will be useful for other people who are facing the same problem.
I added a simple if statement which checks query result. If query does not return data, new object is created, otherwise: old object is filled with new information and saved into database.

you are createting new object car = new Cars(), every time.instead find with objectId and in success response you will get ParseObject list(array).
update first parseObject from that list

Trying to interpret the Node-Neo4j API

I'm pretty new to coding so forgive me if my code is unreadable or my question simplistic.
I am trying to create a little server application that (amongst other things) displays the properties of a neo4j node. I am using node.js, Express and Aseem Kishore's Node-Neo4j REST API client, the documentation for which can be found here.
My question stems from my inability to fetch the properties of nodes and paths. I can return a node or path, but they seem to be full of objects with which I cannot interact. I poured through the API documents looking for some examples of how particular methods are called but I found nothing.
Ive been trying to call the #toJSON method like, "db.toJSON(neoNode);" but it tells me that db does not contain that method. I've also tried, "var x = neoNode.data" but it returns undefined.
Could someone please help me figure this out?

Hey, I just wanted to answer my own question for anybody googling node, neo4j, data, or "How do I get neo4j properties?"
The gigantic object from neo4j, that when you stringified it you got all the "http://localhost:7474/db/data/node/7056/whatever" urls everywhere, that's JSON. You can query it with its own notation. You can set a variable to the value of a property like this:

Dealing with this JSON can be difficult. If you're anything like me, the object is way more complex than any internet example can prepare you for. You can see the structure by putting it through a JSON Viewer, but the important thing is that sometimes there's an extra, unnamed top layer to the object. That's why we call the zeroth layer with square bracket notation as such: unfilteredResult[0] The rest of the line mixes square and dot notation but it works. This is the final code for a function that calculates the shortest path between two nodes and loops through it. The final variables are passed into a Jade view.

Read records from firebase based on a previously saved value

I took an angularjs + firebase example and modified it for an app where I can register some kids for a small cross-country race.
I'm able to register kids (participants), races, locations, clubs etc. using a basic structure:
FIREBASE_URL/races
FIREBASE_URL/clubs
and so forth. When the active race is selected, I save the raceId and race json-object and can add participants to the active race.
Example:

What I'd like to do is to get all the participants, if any, based on raceId:

I believe I have a solution, but I'm not sure if it's wise to do it this way. But it may be that simple. Prepending $rootScope.participantsInRace = to put it into rootScope:

The code is already synchronizing all data in all races when it declares $firebase(URL+'races');. Additionally, you never assigned your races.$child(...) to anything, so it's not possible to reference that data later.

Thank you for the input. I know a bit more about angularjs and javascript now so I did some refactoring and cleanup. Hardcoding raceId works:

When I wrap it in a call to Firebase I can't seem to return the desired data, probably due to my somewhat limited knowledge of javascript on how to return data. Example:
