Visual Studio support creation of Windows Phone 8.0 - windows-phone-8

How do you make a Windows Phone 8.0 application with Visual Studio 2013?
Windows Phone 8.0 Project Template in VS2013.4
I've followed the above but when I hit next it automatically makes a 8.1 project. It prompted me once on if I wanted 8.0 or 8.1, but that prompt no longer appears.
EDIT: Creating a Blank App (Windows Phone) only creates an 8.1 app. Creating a Blank App (Windows Phone Silverlight) gives an option of 8.0 and 8.1.
What's going on?

I haven't tried this but I think you need to install the sdk for Windows 8 separately. You can side by side install multiple OS versions in your Visual Studio to have a look that how your app would respond in windows 8 environment.
You then also need the respective emulator image too.
After some googling i have found a link, I personally haven't tried this ever but I hope this would be useful.
Windows Phone SDK archives
This link contains the SDK for Windows 8 and 7.5 along with their respective emulator images.

How to debug windows phone apps on windows tablet

Ok so I got windows 8.1 nextbook to test on. I created some basic browser app in visual studio running on virtual windows server 2012 r2. My main machine is windows 7. When I connect with USB cable nothing happens (who could have predicted that). I thought I could deploy my app on tablet and do a debug like that but haven't find a way to do it. Anybody here with experience in this scenario, I googled everywhere and the only thing I found is that documentation sucks
You cannot run a Windows Phone app on Windows. You need a Windows Phone or a Windows Phone emulator to run the Windows Phone app. To run on Windows you need to write a Windows Store app. Windows 8.1 on a tablet is the same as Windows 8.1 on a desktop or laptop computer.
In your case you'll probably need a physical Windows Phone since you are already running virtualized. The Windows Phone emulator is a Hyper-V image and is not supported nested in a Hyper-V guest OS.
If you write a Windows Universal app then the code will be mostly the same for the Windows and Windows Phone targets (the UI layer is usually different), so you can write and test the bulk of the app as a Windows Store app to run on your tablet and then recompile for Windows Phone.

Windows Phone 8.1/8 SDK

What installations I require for Windows Phone 8.1/8 SDK?
I have been through How to get started with windows phone SDK 8.1?
, but no luck.
Its ok if anyone wants to down vote. But please help me get through the installation. :)
You need Visual Studio 2013 update 2 or later. You can download the latest free version here:
Microsoft Visual Studio Express 2013 for Windows with Update 3
To run it you need at least Windows 8.1.
If you want to use the emulators, you need Windows 8.1 Pro x64, but if you have a physical Windows phone 8.1 device, you can use it to test your apps, instead of the emulators
First of all for windows phone 8/8.1 you would be needed to have windows 8.1 (x64)Operating System, Then you should check for whether your System is Supporting Hyper-v and SLAT or not.
To check for Hyper-V and SLAT, You can have Refrence from here Does my processor support Hyper-V : Coreinfo
If you have Hyper-V and SLAT, you are ready with Devlopment for windows phone 8/8.1.
for Development of windows phone 8/8.1 You would be needed to install Visual Studio 2013 with update 2 or later. here is a download link for Express 2013 for Windows that can be used for windows, windows phone as well as for Universal Apps.
for windows phone 8.1 emulators, you can download them from here windows phone 8.1 emulators

Visual Studio Error: DEP6250

everytime I try to start my app on my Lumia 1020 I get this error:
Error: DEP6250 : The Device runs on a not supported version of the OS
(I translated it from german...)
I "unlocked" my phone a few minutes ago so I think that this won't be the problem.
I also searched for an update but everything is fine...
I used the free Visual Studio express 2013 for store developers
Does anyone have ideas?
Your problem is that you are probably trying to deploy a Windows Phone 8.1 app to a device running Windows Phone 8.0. That is not possible. You need to Either create a Windows Phone 8.0 app and run it on the device or update your device to Windows Phone 8.1 in order to run WP8.1 apps. Windows Phone 8.0 apps will work on WP8.1 but the other way around will not happen.

Yes you can. Just select Blank App (Windows Phone Silverlight) instead of Blank App (Windows Phone) and select the target windows phone OS version to 8.0. You're done. Refer the below image for more information.

Anyways of running app without requiring Windows 8 Pro version

I have been using Windows 8.1 for creating Windows Store apps. Below is output of winver command.
I have installed necessary updates to start developing universal Windows Store app using JavaScript. When I try to launch app on Windows Phone emulator, I am getting following error.
Unable to start windows phone emulator
It also suggesting to use Windows 8 pro version. Is there anyway of running this without requiring to throw more money on getting Windows 8 Pro version?
Windows Phone Emulator requires Hyper-V which needs Windows Pro version. That's probably why you aren't able to start your Emulator.
As I've posted in comment, I've heard about VirtualBox and an ability to run WP Emulator on it. Some helpful links: other question on SO, VirtualBox forum, video. I'm not sure how it will work (and if) as I haven't tried this.
IMO I would follow WiredPrairie's comment - upgrade or buy inextensive phone.
