I just open my google chrome and see that there is an user icon on the top left corner of my google chrome (next to tabs). I don't know why it there but it freaks me out. I tried to find a way to shut it off. If anyone know how to shut if off, please let me know. It freaks me out.
Sounds like you have another user added on your chrome account. Go to Menu -> Settings -> People and check if there are other users. If there is another user chrome automatically adds a user profile picture to each browser user. You can remove the other users and take that off.

Well I'm trying to enable my users to login with their gmail accounts like I saw in some sites on the top right of the browser windows as I show in the image. The only thing I could get searching was use the Google Sign-in API but that let me create a button which open a popup with my accounts but I want to show it when the user get to the site without a new window, maybe a iframe or popup I dont know. Do anyone knows if what the image show can be done with Google Sign-In or it's maybe with another API or something?
Thanks!
There are several similar entries in stackoverflow for this error (HTTP 400), but I haven't found anything relevant to mine; so if this is already answered... my apologies.
Chrome is my default browser, and I use many Google services everyday, like Gmail, Maps, Docs, etc.
However, time-to-time, when I am logged-in to Google, I notice some assets are not loading from Google websites (*.google.com).
For example; Google logo in upper-left corner at main www.google.com search results; or image tiles in Maps.
Those missing images (or assets in general images, JS, CSS) have references in the DevTools Console: Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 400
Once I clear storage in DevTools > Application, naturally I get logged out, but those missing assets start behaving normal and load as expected. I can log back in to Google services and use them without any issues, until next time it happens.
Since clearing storage (cookies and cache) fixes the issue, I don't think it's related with any of the installed add-ons (read AdBlock).
Has anyone experienced this issue, or better yet have a solution for this? Or should I continue blaming Google in general? :)
I was having a similar issue in Maps. I searched around on the intertubes and found a solution that worked for me:
https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/maps/zbT4TK4x2QI
Synopsis: delete all the cookies for "www.google.com" starting with gsScrollPos
In Chrome:
click "three dot" menu on upper right
click settings
open the advanced section
click content settings
click cookies
click "see all cookies and site data"
click the search cookies box and type "google"
scroll down to find "www.google.com" and click it
now click the X next to each item starting with gsScrollPos
Hope that helps you!
I'm trying to view the emulation panel but I can't find it anywhere. Everywhere I've looked it says to open an overrides panel to find it but that's missing too. I also can't find any helpful or new answers to my question. Pressing esc only opens up console and there's nothing in settings that seems to help. Can someone please tell me how to reach it?
Instead of emulation in the drawer Device Mode is now offered for emulating other devices. It provides many benefits over the old emulation mode, such as taking into account the meta viewport tag on render. So what you see is much closer to what you'd get in real life.
I'm using 51.0.2704.103 (64-bit) on a Mac.
Cmd-Opt-i to open console.
Click the button with three vertical dots and the very top right of the Developer Tools window.
Select: more tools > sensors:
If the console draw is not already open it will open. Either way there should now be a sensors tab next to the console tab on the console draw. Click this tab and follow your nose from there.
Note that this tab had an x by it. Hitting this will hide the sensors tab and next time you use it you will need to follow the steps above again to reinstate it.
I have wasted nearly 4 hours in fixing this.
After Babylon this time it is delta-search which makes my chrome sucks on every new tab. chrome://newtab loads: http://www2.delta-search.com/?babsrc=NT_ss_SU&mntrId=786E00E04C01EE9A&affID=121564&tsp=4987
I am not able to fix this. I have already fixed homepage, search setting and other browsers. Please help me to fix this new tab issue. I want "Most visited tab" to be there when I press new tab button.
A real solution is to reset some fields in "chrome://flags". This was the way I did last time in AVG or Babylon. I have solved my problem but I wish if someone could really give exact steps so that next time if a user gets stuck he can find it here.
:p
open google chrome, type chrome://flags/ on address bar and go to hidden configuration setting.
change following part of configuration file to disable by cliking on enable..
Enable Tab Browser Dragging Windows
Enable creating a browser window when dragging tabs. #enable-tab-browser-dragging
Disable
I want to remove the developer app from my Facebook account and return to a simple profile. I think its like developer profile currently. and when I click on setting button on the top right corner of the page there are "create and app" and "Manage apps" links which is not available for simple normal accounts.
I also can not rearrange and add my groups to favorites which I think is because of the developer app.
Is there anyone who knows how to remove the developer app?
I searched a lot and there is no remove application option anywhere on developer.facebook.com !!!
please help me.
Go to
https://developers.facebook.com/apps/
Select the app you want to delete, then click edit app then
click on delete app (last option on left pane)
you are done.
