Need clarification on the near future of Flash

I've been reading several articles on the web saying that Flash will no longer be supported. I'm a little bit confused about this: does it mean that Chrome / Firefox / IE etc will not run any Flash (swf) contents anymore? What happens with all the SWF files that are running at this very moment, will they stop showing?
I don't really know. I thought it meant they weren't going to update it anymore but hopefully, they don't stop using it because I have an entire website that runs off of flash.

swiffy objects on ios and android play withoud sound

I know that there is no support for ios and android to play swiffy with sound
i looked everywhere on web to try to find a solution but i can't find. it's hard for me to believe that there is no solution for that.
does anyone has figure this out?
Inside actionscript, you can send a getURL call to javascript where you have a hidden html5 mp3 player, something like:
getURL("Javascript:playSound();");
I'm still working in this but I hope this help you.

Firefox and Internet explorer mp4 playback issue

I use a tool for recording desktop videos.
I use the same settings in the tool and same resolution and record two different videos.
http://www.mindmigma.com/users/fb-fac3b0ok/video3.mp4
http://www.mindmigma.com/users/fb-fac3b0ok/video4.mp4
Both of those videos can be played with Google Chrome version 31.
But only video3.mp4 can be played with Firefox version 27 and Internet Explorer 11
When i make videos it feels like a random pattern if a video will be playable or not. How can this be is the video4.mp4 damaged somehow?
It feels so wierd when you use the same settings and its an 50% chance the video will play in Firefox and IE.
Would be really glad if i could get some help.
Thanks in advance!

As LordNeckbeard suggested: Super User has the answer:
quick fix: Set your security level to Normal (standard is Normal-High).
for more detailed information check Super User:

I just thought I'd share because I lost a lot of time looking for this.

Embed FLV or SWF files on a webpage in IE9

I have been working on this for a while and there doesn't seem to be a clear cut working example. I am having trouble embedding flash videos (.flv or .swf) into a webpage. My skill level in the video / web department is not all that great. Here's what I am using.
IE 9
swfObject
Either VLC player or FLV player or JW player
I am not sure how to accomplish this. Not sure whether to use or or both, as everyone on the web has different opinions and ideas on how it should work.
If anyone could help explain this better to me and possibly even provide a working example, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Ubuntu, Flash works on sites, not in localhost

Ok, I'm working on making a webpage that is accessed through localhost on Ubuntu Firefox. I have one page (lps.html) that uses:
<embed width:"420" height="345"
src="http//www.youtube.com/watch?v-vbf1-euocAo">
</embed>
The problem is that when I load the page in Firefox as: localhost/lps.html the video player comes up saying:
"A plugin is needed to display this content"
I check Youtube itself and I can watch videos no problem, just not on my page.
I've been working at this problem for 6 hours and have become frustrated and decided to just ask the people here. Can someone please help me? I'm a beginner in Ubuntu and figure it's something stupid like assigning a directory for the page or adding something to localhost. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
Are you sure you have Flash. Youtube can display videos in HTML5 format. Type about:plugins in your address bar and see if Shockwave Flash is listed.
