Repeat textbox on each page in a report - reporting-services

i have a report which contains a vertical text on the right side of the page. This text appears in the first page. But my customer wants that text appears in every single page of the report. How can i make that text appears in every single page of the report? I can't move that text to the header neither to the footer. I put a photo which can describe my wish. I want that '2.10-F38 Rev.6' appears in every page. It is in the body. Could anyone help me?

The only way I got around this issue was to create an image with the vertical text and add it as a "BackgroundImage" to the "Body" element...
It's a horrible solution at a technical level but if you think about it many companies buy their A4/Letter paper from printing services with the company header logo and details already printed... So it doesn't make me feel so bad.

SSRS pre-printed form second page format issue

I've not come across anything like I am looking for so either I'm either not asking the right questions (for which I will apologize for re-asking a question) or it's not been asked.
I'm working on a report to print header information onto pre-printed carbon copy forms on a continuous form feed impact printer. The form is two pages and the header for the second page only contains part of the information that the header on the first page has.
I have the first page header working fine. I played with using rectangles and it was printing on target on every other page. The problem comes in when I try to print the page two header.
The way I am formatting the headers is that I have a single cell tablix with a rectangle in the cell. I've measured out where the 11 fields belong for page one of the form and placed them on the form. This all works correctly. Below that, I've inserted a second rectangle with the add page break before property checked. In that rectangle I have two of the fields that are repeated one just above the other (field 1 and field 2). Field 1 is in exactly the same spot as it is on page one. Field 2 is higher and to the left of where it is positioned on page one. The report body has no margins. Positioning is all done directly through the elements themselves. Field 1 sits about 1/16 to 1/8 inch lower than it does on page 1 even when position top is set to 0 (and there is no page margin). I can position field 2 exactly where I want it to be however. If I have multiple forms print out, all the page ones are perfect and page 2 field 2 is spot on but page 2 field 1 is always too low.
I tried separating the rectangles but was unable to connect the dataset to the second rectangle.
Is there a better way to do this? Is there a setting I'm missing that is adding padding to the second rectangle? Any help is appreciated.
Not quite the answer that I was looking for but it nearly fixed the problem. It turns out that the field itself had padding on it. I'm not sure how as I copied and pasted it from the first page but it moved it up to a acceptable position. It is still a bit low but close enough that the requester is happy with it.

SSRS Report Builder Center Data Bar Data Label in Column instead of on the bar

I am creating an SSRS report in SSRS report builder 3.0. I currently have a table where the rows have a Data Bar inside of the cells. I cant figure out how to get the data label to center on the row. I tried selecting center under the Data Bar "Custom Attributes for "bar label style" and also under the Data Label under "position". Both seem to just center the label on the Data Bar itself not on the row.
I'm under the reputation limit or i would post an image of what I'm talking about.

I realise that this is an old post, but I stumbled across this forum searching for an answer to the same question. Unfortunately, I have to agree with Christopher, in that there is no way around the issue (that I know of).
However, I have used a very simple workaround that displays the data bar and values neatly, and thought it may be useful for others.
Quite simply, I have added another column to the right of the data bar, and have entered the same field. I have then removed the borders between the two textboxes, so that it displays the data bar to the left with the values aligned to the right.
While this does not provide an answer to the question as such, I hope that it may help others with the same problem in the future.
I suspect, unfortunately, that what you seek is not possible. The reason being that the label is a part of the bar. The label is defined for the entire series, and for each label, it is positioned relative to the bar itself. Relative to either the start or the end or the middle of the bar, but not relative to the chart's container.
What I imagine you wanting is to define something that is centered in the cell itself, which would have to be a direct component of the cell (e.g., placeholder, entered text). Unfortunately, when using a databar, you cannot add anything else into that cell.

How can I place <a> tags over another (greater) <a> tag?

Here's the case: I have a series of thumbnails in a page, and I would like to display several keywords over each image when the user hovers with the cursor. Each of those keywords are anchor tags that point to a search query. And each thumbnail (the image) should also be clickable (through the empty spaces that the keywords leave) and point to a specific page.
I have everything already coded, I'm just missing a way to display the keyword anchors over the image anchors. I already tried with an onclick="window.location.href=..." but when the user clicks the keyword, the onclick is also triggered (for instance: if I ctrl+click on a keyword, i get the keyword search on a different window, but the main window content changes as well).
Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks!
This is quite common and can definitely be done with plain HTML and CSS. You can also do it with JavaScript, but I prefer to avoid doing so if possible.
This example is perfectly valid HTML/CSS and should have no weird browser rendering issues (even as far back as IE 6).

Basically you have a containing element, in this case a div, which has your linked thumbnail and linked keywords. They're hidden by default and only shown when the containing div is hovered.
The linked thumbnail is absolutely positioned so that it's taken out of the page flow which then allows the linked keywords to appear on top. I then use z-indexes to make sure that the keywords are always on a layer that is higher than that of the linked thumbnail.
You can not. It is illegal html.
Attach a click handler that changes the current location instead of the "greater ".
I was going to answer with a long reply but, well check out my Jsfiddle here. I was trying to solve something before and well...check it out.
http://jsfiddle.net/somdow/KSt6a/
If you look at the code, its doing exactly what you are describing.
On my Jsfiddle, theres a div box with space for an image(this is wher YOUR image would go), The image is on the code but not on the jsfiddle so youll see the alt tag....Anyways so, on mouse-over, it brings up another div with text dynamically created inside of it.
All you have to do is replace the image content with your own image, then Insert the links/keywords links you want into this line
.prepend('<div class="portSecRollOver"><div class="portSecInner"></div></div>');
and stick your words in between the <div class="portSecInner"> **YOUR WORDS HERE** </div> line
And change the CSS to fit your needs.
oh AND ps, DELETE this line (below) which is the one that dynamically appends text inside of "portSecInner", since your going to insert your own words, then you dont need this line.
$(this).find('.portSecInner').html("<h3 class='h34roll'>" + $(this).find('img').attr("alt") + "</h3>");

SSRS show the same objects in the second page

I have a Report in SSRS that displays some logos at the top of the first page. I just got a requirement to add the possibility to also show the logos in the second page -- The report is only two pages. Is there a way to repeat the same Image objects in the second page?
If your report is specifically laid out to span multiple pages, you can use a repeating page header. If not (i.e., the second page is caused by content overflow), and you know it will always be two pages or less, you can use a page header and select "print on first page" and "print on last page" in report properties. Otherwise, if you have tablix controls causing the page span, and your page design allows, you can put the logos in the tablix header and enable repeat header on all pages for the tablix. If none of those work, you'll be stuck, as far as I know.
See also this question.
If you are showing Image in the header then you need to following things:
Adding a Data-Bound Image to a Header or Footer
You can use image data stored in a database in a header or footer. However, you cannot reference database fields from the Image report item directly. Instead, you must add a text box in the body of the report and then set the text box to the data field that contains the image (note that the value must be base64 encoded). You can hide the text box in the body of the report to avoid showing the base64-encoded image. Then, you can reference the value of the hidden text box from the Image report item in the page header or footer.
For example, suppose you have a report that consists of product information pages. In the header of each page, you want to display a photograph of the product. To print a stored image in the report header, define a hidden text box named TXT_Photo in the body of the report that retrieves the image from the database and use an expression to give it a value:
=Convert.ToBase64String(Fields!Photo.Value)
In the header, add an Image report item which uses the TXT_Photo text box, decoded to show the image:
=Convert.FromBase64String(ReportItems!TXT_Photo.Value)

TO repeat image on every page
IN addition to this, to repeat this image into everyt page, Go to property of TXT_Photo textbox In General tab, tick the check box "Repeat report item with data region on every page" and select your region.
Thanks

How to keep List contents on the first page? (SSRS 2005 - PDF Export)

I've got the following report setup:
1. Letterhead (not in the header, since i only want it on the first page)
2. List control with some data
when i export the report to PDF, and the contents of the List are less that one full page - my letterhead is displayed on the first page (the rest of the page is empty) and the List content gets moved to the second page.
if the List grows over 1 page - reports is showing up just fine (Letterhead and portion of the list on the first page - the rest on the second page)
It looks like it tries to keep the list on 1 page as long as its contents fit on the page - but when you add the letterhead to the contents it overflows the page, and the list gets bumped down to the next page.
Is there any way to keep the list on the first page regardless of its size.
Putting the letterhead in the list is my last resort, I'd like to hear some other solutions.
uploaded a sample .rdl to illustrate the problem
got rid of the list for simplicity, the problem seems to be with a textbox wanting to show up on 1 page
p.s. see this question for more details
What is the source of your text? Is it coming from a dataset? If so, Add a paragraph id in it, set your table to group on the paragraph id and show only the group header. In the group, add a bottom padding value of say 5. The table will handle the paragraph breaks for you, and if it grows more the a page it will handle it for you. Make sure that keep together is set to false. The paragraph id will be used to sort the dataset by id ascending.
sorry I didn't notice your comment at the end. The only other thing that i can think of is to shift your list up closer to the header and eliminate all empty space at the end. Also, make sure the KeepTogether option in the list is set to false. This way it will break up your list rather than move it to the next page.
you can put both the letterhead and the list inside a rectangle so they are always grouped together.
Reporting services also tries to keep the relative spaces you have in the designer, so if you list is aligned to the bottom of the page and there is a space form the header; it will keep the space on top and align everything to the bottom of the page.
