I have solution wp8 include phone app Demo and windows phone class library (dll). Demo has Test.xaml, Dll project has TestDLL.xaml. So how can i display TestDLL.xaml from Test.xaml, get return object from TestDll.xaml and turn back Test.xaml after finish Test1.xaml.
Do the follwing steps
Right click on Reference
Select Add reference
Select Solutions
There will be the list of projects or dlls available in your solution.
Just tick the item and Click Add.
Go through this steps:
Right click on References
Select Add Reference..
When you click on add reference you will see some option i.e. Assemblies,Solution,Browse. If you have added Windows Phone class Library project in same solution then click on solution otherwise browse it.
Select appropriate dll and just click on Add button.
after adding reference you can see it in references folder.

I made a new GTK# project added a toolbar and tried to add button to it. I tried to add a custom icon. I clicked on New Button, the on the newly created button -> select icon -> more -> project icons, and added my icon to the project. The icon appears normal in the editor, as shown on the screen shot below:
But when I try to run it, the following error occurs:
Error MSB5016: The name "DeployService.UseProjectRelativePath" contains an invalid character ".". (MSB5016)
Googling didn't help :( Anyone else had the similar problem? Thanks!
Edit1: Cleaning or rebuilding project also doesn't work, even after the icon is removed, but the application compiled successfully before the icon was added.
You need to go to the resource in you project (the icon), right-click it, select "build action" and set it to "embbeded resource".
Then you need to access it. If you are using the designer, then don't need anything else, but if you want to access it programmatically in Windows Forms (and your project is called "my-project" and your icon is under folder "Res")

Does anyone know how to highlight the current file in the project navigator, or a hotkey to expand folders to the active file?
I have looked around and couldn't find anything that points to this as an option.

As of some 2017.x version (or maybe even 2016.x) the IDE has own dedicated Select in Project View action (so no need for additional plugin). You can find it in Keymap under the Other branch (hint: use search box to narrow the list).

Can be used if you do not mind (or even want) to have Project View panel keep focused on currently edited file (so it scrolls/moves up and down/expands when needed).
NOTE: with frequently switching between the files (e.g. CSS & HTML) when you have a lot of files in your project such "scrolling" may become quite annoying pretty fast (especially if such files are located in the invisible-right-now part of the project tree).
Activate Autoscroll from Source option in Project View panel (right click on tool window header bar/title or use menu under "gear" icon):

Just click the circular icon (with tooltip Scroll from Source) to navigate in the project directory tree and highlight the corresponding active file in the PhpStorm editor.
On PhpStorm 2020.3 you have to click the cog icon in the project pane and select Always Select Opened Files:
The above answers are all valid but unfortunately you'll have to enable them for each project.
There's a plugin from Jetbrains that will enable this behaviour by default for all new projects.

I'm creating an MVVM style application for windows phone. With a regular button, you can bind anything that inherits from ICommand to the Command property on a xaml button, like so:
The command property does not seem to exist for buttons in the phones app bar ("shell:ApplicationBarIconButton"). Has anyone figured out how to bind their click event to a Command yet?
It's not possible from the SDK directly, but the AppBarUtils library ( http://nuget.org/packages/AppBarUtils or http://appbarutils.codeplex.com/ ) works nicely.
The codeplex site has example code for different scenarios such as reusing or switching the app bar in a page.
I didn't understand how to use the chosen solution so I went for another one. You just add the library via nuget. It's BindableApplicationBar
Then you just add the following instead of your normal application bar.

It's just a shame that intellisense doesn't reconize the tags. Otherwise, it works like a charm.
Right Click (or control-click since I'm on a Mac) doesn't bring up the context menus for Solution or Projects.
For instance, in Visual Studio I would right click on a Solution to add a new project to the solution. I've looked all through the menu and can't find the add project command.
Also, how do I add a folder to a project? Again, this would be available from the right-click menu in VS, but I can't find it anywhere in MonoDevelop.
Control-click doesn't do anything for me in any part of MD. Not even in the text editor. Is there a setting to get it to behave the way I'm expecting it to?
Shouldn't these options also be available via the main menu also?
Apparently this was a known issue and has been fixed. It was a bug in the gtk+ library. Single button mice weren't supported.

Still not sure why I'm seeing this bug now on my OSX 10.6.4 machine running the latest download of MonoDevelop.
Plugging in a 2-button mouse is an adequate work-around. I can right click and get the context menus I was looking for.
These features are where you would expect to find them, exactly where you said. The solution context menu contains Add > Add new project and the project context menu has Add > New folder
I'm on a macbook so I get to use the old double-finger tap, rather than CTRL+Clicking all the time. Not sure why the CTRL+Click is not working for you.
EDIT:
Control-Click anywhere in the solution explorer seems to bring up a context-sensitive context menu. Control-Click whilst solution is selected brings up the solution context menu and if a project is selected, the project context menu.
Control + click doesn't work but a two finger touch brings up the context menus on my Macbook Pro. Check your "Trackpad" settings in system preferences to see how you have secondary click setup on your mac.
I'm using IntelliJ to do Java Development for an application where we use JSF in a few places. In the .jsp file I have defined my backing class and the code runs properly.
My question is: How do I set up my environment so that when I center click on the method names, which use EL format, IntelliJ navigates to the proper method in the proper class.
Having taken a quick look at my IntelliJ install, if you go to File->Settings, there should be a keymap section under the IDE Settings header. Make a new keymap profile other than default. You can probably just copy the default and give it a new name. In the actions window, open Main Menu->Go To and there should be an action called "Implementation(s)". The description of this action seems to match what you are looking for. Click Add Mouse Shortcut, and center click in the click pad area to set it. I didn't want to actually change my settings, so I didn't finish the steps myself, but this should do what you are wanting to do. It may warn you that you are overwriting a shortcut to another action, so be aware of that.

This is a comment specific for intellij I guess. In this way when the owner variable is used anywhere like:
${owner.name}
is known to intellij that is of a Owner type. Intellij then automatically go to the class definition by pressing CTRL+B or middle mouse button.
This is working with intellij idea 9 beta and I remember that this feature was broken in 8.1.1. Prob it is working again in 8.1.x
Probably the same approch will also work for JSF.
