Is it possible to create a new folder in the project browser and move there the Setting file
(The one which was created under the main namespace folder by default) ?
Do I have to change the configuration file itself (like to specify the new folder name)?
Yes, it is possible :
From Properties file move the Settings (with its Settings.designer.cs) to the new folder.
Open the Settings.designer.cs file and change the namespace from ApplicationName.Properties to NewFileName.
In the app.config file, change the <userSettings>
<ApplicationName.Properties.Settings> places
to <userSettings>
<NewFileName.Settings>
Along the program use NewFileName.Settings instead of Properties.Settings.

my question is how we will create SSIS package to get the particular file from multiple files and copy to different folder

You can use File System Task in your package control flow.
Configure the properties as below:
DestinationConnection: Enter the full file path of the folder you want to move your file to e.g c:\Users\ToTest
Operation: Change to Move file.
SourceConnection: Enter the full file path of the folder where your file is, including the file name and extension e.g c:\Users\Test\testfile.csv
You'll need at least two components.
Use a Foreach Loop container with the default Foreach File Enumerator on the Collection tab. Set Folder: to \YourFolder and build an expression under Files: to identify the particular file you're interested in.
Inside the Foreach Loop container, add a File System Task to Copy the file from the Source folder to the Destination folder.
I've started using a task runner to export all of my folders into a distribution folder using Gulp. The problem arises when I export images into the distribution folder, the path name is different from the one I'm using in my src file. So, as an example, when I target an image in HTML I type:
/assets/images/example.jpg
However, when the HTML file is distributed, it is supposed to target:
/images/example.jpg
It's still pointing to the assets folder, and creates a dead link. Should I be using a module like gulp-replace to automatically change these path names? Or should I just type in the assumed path name? Or, is there another method that I'm missing?
Sorry if I've phrased this badly, I'm working towards a new developer environment - let me know if I can provide you with any other details.
Should I be using a module like gulp-replace to automatically change
these path names?
Yes, gulp-replace will do the trick.
As an alternative you can place your index.html file into assets folder, so you don't need to change any paths when distributing the project.
I have an Oracle Forms application. In the menu options I need to provide an option to open another application. I am using Replace_menu (File_Name) option to change the menu options of the new application.
The fmx file which I need to invoke is in a different folder but in the same parent directory.
If I pass the whole path including the file name this options works fine, however if I try to use the relative path it fails.
Consider I have the following folder structure:
C:\Sample\Sup
Forms1 and Forms2 are 2 folders.
The first application is in Forms1. I need to invoke form_menu.mmx inside Forms2 folder.
eg: Replace_menu(c:\Sample\Sup\Forms2\form_menu.mmx) - This works fine.
eg: Replace_menu(../Forms/form_menu.mmx) - Does not work
You only have a few options:
Include the full path in the code
Include the fully qualified path in FORMS_PATH
Pass the path in at runtime as a parameter.
Relative paths are not permitted.
I've noticed when I move a file in PHPStorm, it doesn't adjust the namespace at all. My project uses PSR-0, so directory structure mirrors the namespacing. Is it possible to have PHPStorm adjust the namespace when a file is moved?
Also, when renaming a file the class name is not changed and I then have to go in and rename the class. Is it possible to rename a file and the class in a single step?
I'm using 7.1.3
I encountered the same issue. The reason was that I was trying to move the file (from project view), instead of moving the class (right click on the name in the source code).
If you use the F6 refactoring, it will allow you to move the class and change the namespace at the same time: PHPStorm docs
However, you do need to have the directory namespace mappings setup:
Because my application is a Laravel app the root directory was not the source of the namespacing. PHPStorm has a new option as of 8.0 that allows you to specify a directory as the namespace root: http://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/WI-22585
I have a lot of library assets linked to external as3 classes. I would like to change the structure of the packages containing the linked classes, but if I do so, all links will get broken.
Is there any way to automatically or at least easily tell the FLA file where to get the new class files from? Could a FLA file be configured to read this sort of information from a configuration file?
You can add a folder to the source paths in ActionScript Settings. So if you had linked all your classes relative to the 'myClasses' folder, and then you moved everything to a different folder, you'd just have to update that one source path and it would find all the classes again.
Also, maybe this obvious, but I didn't realize it for a long time:
You can edit the class linkage right in the Library panel (without having to open the Properties for each symbol). Just double-click the linkage path.
