Transport.send(message);
} catch (AddressException e) {

} catch (MessagingException e) {

}
can you help me solve it?
thanks.

This is is usually related to an error in your name service configuration.
You can work around this problem by setting the mail.smtp.localhost property to the fully qualified host name of your machine. See the com.sun.mail.smtp package javadocs for details.

servlet connection to remote mysql

I am trying to connect my java servlet program in local in eclipse IDE to my remote SQL database which is created in a web hosting.
AdminLoginServlet-
package dao;
import java.sql.Connection;
import java.sql.DriverManager;
import java.sql.PreparedStatement;
import java.sql.ResultSet;
import java.sql.SQLException;
import model.Model;
public class Dao
{
private static String driver="com.mysql.jdbc.Driver";
private static String url="jdbc:mysql://xyz.com/devadmin_CustomerDatabasev1";
private static String username="USER";
private static String password="Password";
private static Connection con=null;
private static ResultSet rs=null;
public static Connection connect()
{
try
{
Class.forName(driver);
con=DriverManager.getConnection(url,username, password);
}
catch(ClassNotFoundException e)
{
e.printStackTrace();
}
catch(SQLException e)
{
e.printStackTrace();
}
return con;
}
public static ResultSet validate(Model m, String sql)
{
try
{
connect();
PreparedStatement ps=con.prepareStatement("select userid,password from adminlogin where userid='user' and password='password'");
rs=ps.executeQuery();
}
catch(SQLException e)
{
e.printStackTrace();
}
return rs;

}
I get a 500 error code with the following error on UI-

Edit:(26 th feb,2017)
I found the connector for java to mysql was missing from the following link:
http://www.ccs.neu.edu/home/kathleen/classes/cs3200/JDBCtutorial.pdf
But I am not able to add it into build path as an external archive.I am getting following option-
Check the folder structure
Thanks in advance for any pointer that anyone can provide.
The database which you are connecting might not have values and also check the column names or you might have given the wrong name or you might not have included the respective jar file under WebContent folder.Take a keen look at all these.

You're calling em.close() twice in your method, but you shouldn't need any of them. As you have the method annotated with #Transactional, the Spring framework will take care of managing it as a declarative transaction and opening-closing the connection (if you have it properly configured).

Simple EJB client or Junit not working with IBM websphere

My ejb is deployed in websphere and i want to call it from another webserver, but the remote lookup code is not working. So i tried a simple client to see whether it works, i have set the context properties, but still its not working. Am i missing something?
My node location is WMSPBLDJ00327Node03Cell\WMSPBLDJ00327Node03\server1
The below jndi works perfectly from web code deployed in websphere.. ejb/WgePasEar/WgePasEjb.jar/EmplFacade#com.company.crw.wge.pas.ejb.cmn.empl.EmplFacadeHome
but not from client. I tried different options as in the below code. Can you help?

The EJBContainer API should only be used from a standalone JVM, and it can only be used to access EJBs locally in that process (for unit-testing purposes for example), not remote EJBs in a server. It's not exactly clear what the problem is in your Eclipse environment, but you might try setting the trace system properties (e.g., traceSpecification of *=info) in order to observe the CNTR0167I messages in the embeddable scenario.
For remote access, you should use the EJB thinclient or the application client container. It is not possible to use java:global names with the EJB thinclient.

return carsQuantity == 0 ? null : carsQuantity;
You are trying to return null while the return type is long. You can also get this kind of NPE when you try to call the super constructor and passing in null for one argument.
long can't be null :)
You could try to use java.lang.Long instead.
