Steps to Create the Issue:
logged into my ejabberd admin portal.
Added a User.
Attempted to login with the same configuration as a working account.
Pidgeon says "Not Authorized"
Additional info:
I see the user in the list of "Users" in the admin portal.
Whats wrong?
Note:
Restarting the server/service is not a viable option at the moment.
I don't know much about this at the moment, I inherited this project from someone else.
Turns out I entered the password wrong when I created the account. It works fine

I have an issue with IBM Websphere,
We forgot our password and I followed the topic I found here in the forum to reset admin password.
How to reset password for admin account in IBM websphere 6.1?
Issue I have is when I disable security, I get into the websphere console but have NO option to get into security tab. No tab available except "tasks", so I cannot enable security nor reset the admin user there.
Also, after this, I cannot put security on again. I keep getting the login page with no password.
I tried the script with securityon instead of securityoff (sounds logical to me) but now it requests user password to do so...
If I manually edit the security.xml to put security enabled="true", I get a startup error...
UPDATE 1
There was an issue loading applications, so that's the reason why I could not get the menu on the left. However, I could not find any solution to it, and decided to restore the system.
Now I can get the menu list, but face another error when I try to reset the admin user with the wizard, at the last steps here is the message error I get :
SECJ7305E: Found other virtual member manager repository configurations. Only the built-in virtual member manager file-based repository is supported through the wizard
This actually blocks me, and I cannot go further.
I tried to run the wizard without activating security as well, but not working either.
I do not want to mess with user repositories as some repo's are configured... I just would like to reset the admin password :(
Anybody faced this issue? Any help/idea is greatly appreciated.
Thank you
I have a problem with Chrome and cPanel and i think all have this problem not just me. The problem is that i cant save the passwords of the Cpanel logins in Chrome. I wanted to ask if there's any kind of extension url like https://domain:2083/?user=domainusername&password=domainpassword
I saw that in some sites you can use this kind of urls and have the boxes of the username and the password filled automatically. Is there a way to do this with cPanel ? If not can anyone tell me how could i save Username and Password of cPanel logins.
p.s. i have 30-40 websites with cPanel to manage that's why it's a bit of a problem to remember all passwords or to keep "copy-pasting" them.
are your activate secure mode as this
if you use django
add in setting.py in
SecurityMiddleware django.middleware.security.SecurityMiddleware
and set
SECURE_SSL_REDIRECT = True.
and chech if SSL/TLS certificate is instaled in your server from (Manage SSL sites)
I think you need to check whether javascript is enbled in your browser also check whether there is any bug for corresponding cPanel version.
Been trying to get SSRS reporting service set up for a while now, and been stuck on the issue with UAC.
After setting up the Reporting Service Configuration Manager settings, with service account using my PC's login account, Database using ReportServer$SQLEXPRESS, etc. when launching the server # 127.0.0.1/Reports it directs me to 127.0.0.1/Reports/Pages/Folder.aspx and then after login with my PC's login this is what I get on my browser -
"User 'OCTETHP\Support' does not have required permissions. Verify that sufficient permissions have been granted and Windows User Account Control (UAC) restrictions have been addressed."
And I have done my researches online, I turned off UAC, I am on the administrator account, and I also tried to run the browser with right click to run as administrator option on both chrome and IE. Still does not solve this problem. Could anyone help me out with this??
I am currently running on windows 8.1. Thanks so much!
It is likely the problem is with the account the reporting server is running under (OCTETHP\Support). You may need to add this user to the web user group (IIS_WPG depending on your OS version). If that doesn't work, you can set the user to be a local administrator and work the permissions back from there.
If you want to run the reporting services from another account you'd want to follow these steps:
Open IIS Manager
Under websites locate the SSRS website (/Reports in your case)
In basic properties check the App Pool the site is running under
Go to the App Pools section of IIS and open the advanced properties
Setup the user that the App Pool runs under
You'll need to make sure the user is assigned to the web user group, and has permissions to access the folder that the website points to.
I've been searching for this problem all day. For some reason I get the error:
User 'DOMAIN\USERNAME' does not have required permissions. Verify that sufficient permissions have been granted and Windows User Account Control (UAC) restrictions have been addressed.
when I want to go to localhost/reports with my normal user account (it is administrator).
I tried all different ways posted on the internet and it still doesn't work.
As a last resort I tried to create a new user account on my pc with admin rights. And voila, it works. I run IE as administrator and I can connect to localhost/reports.
Now, why in the world cant I connect to the report server on my main account? Obviously it is an admin and I run IE as administrator.
I realy hope any of you can help me.
Greetings
PS: also, when I try to go to localhost/reportserver i get the error:
The permissions granted to user 'DOMAIN\USERNAME' are insufficient for performing this operation. (rsAccessDenied)
Finaly found a link that did it for me:
http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/sqlserver/en-US/7f477018-aa14-4db0-8989-ce763b122a2a/sql-server-express-2008-reporting-services-rsaccessdenied-error?forum=sqlreportingservices
When SSRS stands itself up, it only adds the Builtin/Administrator to have access to the report manager. Run IE as Administrator and navigate to the report manager page. Then in Site Settings click on Security and add your normal user account as an administrator. That should do the trick.
I am using SSRS 2012 for Reporting and when i deploy it on production server and try to access the report then it always prompt me for login and if we put the server login details then its working fine.
I want to avoid this login prompt and How can i do this, i did many search on Google and try do implement these but not get any luck.
Please help us.
Thanks
Atul
Check the IE's 'User authentication' settings (refer to screenshot in

Hope your issue is solved now. But I was looking to overcome same problem, and as I got a solution. I thought some other people might get help from this.
I was trying to deploy a report to our production server but it would prompt for user credentials again and again but wont deploy the report, and everything seemed to be alright with the report.
I tried every credentials being used on the server but nothing worked.
Eventually I had a thought that there are .RDL, .RDS files being used to generate report and somehow the same should be uploaded on the server and this time I used the FTP User account credentials and Bingo!, it worked.
Hope this saves time of other people.
IE Settings:
Open Internet Explorer
Go to Tools and click on Internet Options
Under the Security tab, click on Trusted sites and click the Sites button and Add Report Manager/Report Server URL to the trusted
sites.
Then click Custom Level, and check the option Automatic logon with current user name and password
Repeat #3 and #4 for Local Intranet

Login into "Server"/ReportServer
Click on rdl file "drop down"
Select Manage
check if the Data Source's Connection String box is empty
If it's empty, provide the Connection String again
Select the Option Windows Integrated Security
Test and save your Connection String.
This will overwrite your localhost credentials.
