Strong name validation failed. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8013141A) (IdooctopusNew)
Can anyone please help me ?
I got a solution for this issue.
You just have to do is, put the mono.android.dll in to the C:\Program
Files\Microsoft SDKs\Windows\v7.0A\bin folder, open a command prompt and do
following steps:
cd C:\Program Files\Microsoft SDKs\Windows\v7.0A\bin
sn -Vr Mono.Android.dll
gacutil -i C:\Program Files\Microsoft SDKs\Windows\v7.0A\bin
Then build the project.
If you get the error for another DLL like System.xml.dll etc. then repeat above
procedure for respective DLL.
All the best.......!

I need to add a custom dll which will provide me with Data Matrix generation but for some reason it gives me this error... Error
It says "Could not load the file or assembly 'C: \ Windows \ System32 \ cruflbcs.dll' or one of its dependencies. The module was expected to contain an assembly manifest."
I added the file to every single folder possible, did the 'regsvr32' command and it gave a successful response.
I'm out of ideas...
Remotely, this file should be pushed to following location:
%ProgramFiles%\Microsoft SQL Server\<VERSION>.MSSQLSERVER\Reporting Services\ReportServer\bin
Locally, this should be placed in the following location:
%ProgramFiles%\Microsoft Visual Studio <VERSION>\Common7\IDE\PrivateAssemblies.
I'm building a Razor Page app using ASP.NET 2017. When I run the command
dotnet aspnet-codegenerator razorpage -m Activity -dc CongContext -udl -outDir Page\Activities --referenceScriptLibraries
This error appears:
Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.EntityFrameworkCore,
Version=2.0.3.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=adb9793829ddae60'.
The located assembly's manifest definition does not match the assembly
reference. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80131040)
I stopped and restarted VS, I've also cleaned and build the solution. Attached jpg shows the code I typed and the results
This is because of different versions of packages. Check the 'Dependencies' node of your project. The Microsoft.EntityFrameworkCore and Microsoft.EntityFrameworkCore.Design must have same 2.0.3 versions.
If not, delete and re-add them from [Tools] menu > [Nuget Package Manager]. Also delete the Migrations folder and repeat instructions as listed here. For more info, you may take a look at this comment
I am trying to compile and build winexe. I have downloaded the samba source and ran the following command to compile the winexe.
./waf configure --samba-dir=../../samba --samba-inc-dirs=../../samba/ --samba-lib-dirs=../../samba/
I am getting the following error. Please suggest me to resolve the error.

Cannot continue! Please either install Samba shared libraries and re-run waf, or download the Samba source code and re-run waf with the "--samba-dir" option.

execfile is deprecated,
edit the file "smb_static/wscript",
remove the line with execfile and use exec(open("wscript").read()) instead
I am simply trying to add an assembly reference to Report Builder. However, I copied the assembly's dll and added to (C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSRS11.MSSQLSERVER\Reporting Services\ReportServer\bin). After that i added the reference to it from the report builder.
However, upon trying to preview the report i get:
An error occurred during local report processing. The definition of the report '' is invalid. Error while loading code module: 'PebbleReports.SsrsUtils, Version:1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null, Details: Could not load file or assembly 'PebbleReports.SsrsUtils, Version=1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.
Any help is much appreciated, as I found nothing so far on google.
