What should I do to prevent that?

First change "id" and "class" names like "ad1", "ad2" to smth else
Can you specify what content affected by Adblock?

I have many redirect pages on my wiki. They are hidden from the search by default, but I would like a way for an admin to see a list of them.
How can I do that?
There is a special page called Special:ListRedirects for that.
The list is limited to 1000 redirects, but some WikiMedia wikis can show up to 5000 results, so there seem exist some way around that limitation.

How can I make it work properly?

I am working on a website that is 960px wide. It is mainly geared towards a 'creative' audience, and contains a lot of video. I would like to convert the site to be 1000px wide, and was wondering if there would be any downsides of doing so? If so, what are they specifically?

I am looking for a joomla or wordpress template (free | commercial) with giant menu.
I like such types of websites where you pull the menu and see evrything. It
makes it easier for visitors to see the big picture instead of being forced
to navigate from page to page
examples : reuters.com, vmware.com etc

I haven't come across a theme persay, however there is UberMenu. A WP Plugin in for just such occasions.

Which tags or mediawiki markup symbols should I use to make some text of red or any other color?
I doubt this belongs to StackOverflow. In my humble opinion it belongs to the web apps StackExchange site (don't remember the name) unless you are trying to do it programmatically.
Anyway, you can do it by using span as in following example:
<span style="color:red">red</span>
You can also set the background as follows:
<span style="background:red">red</span>
