Adobe AIR app installer offline - actionscript-3

I'm making a software using AIR, and I got the installer installer.exe, but when I'm going to install in the target pcs, It tells me "This application requires a version of adobe air which cannot be found .....", but I need that my installer setup everything that I need to run my app in these pcs that have no Internet connection.
I'll appreciate any help !!
Greetings

Just download the latest AIR installer on a PC with an internet connection, and bring that along with your AIR app installer. You can get it from http://get.adobe.com/air/

From the research I've been doing, you can't legally include the runtime installer with your app unless you join adobe's runtime distribution license. If you look at the Adobe Runtime Distribution FAQ that seems pretty close to what you are trying to do.

Win32 API support in WIndows 8.1 phone

I heard that few of the Win32 APIs are not supported in Windows 8.1 phone. I have an c++ application which is using some Win32 APIs. How to check whether my application will work on Windows 8.1 phone?
You can find the list of supported Win32 functions on MSDN. However, since it can be hard to match supported functions with your code, you might as well try to compile the code yourself and check the errors (if any).
It mostly depends on what you were doing with win32. The list of functions is quite limited IMHO.
The best way is to run the WACK (Windows Application Certification Kit).
Right-click project, choose Store, then Create App Packages...
Say "No" to upload packages, then click Next
Select ARM & x86 release builds, then click Create
Click Launch WACK on the next screen
You might have to download a WACK update before you can certify (it changes pretty regularly as new APIs are enabled).

How do I connect ActionScript 3 code to a Windows Service?

I have an AS3 application, and a Windows Service running in the local network, how can I connect the AS3 App to the Windows Service running in the other PC?
If the question is pretty vague it's because I don't have a clue on how/what the possibilities are and I'd like to know what should I search/look for, any hints are appreciated.
If this isn't possible, what would be a good course of action?
I would assume you are talking about AIR desktop development, for Flash there is no such possibility. You should have a look at AIR native extention, which supports desktop environment. Basically, your app talks to the native extension, which then talks to OS.

Signed AIR package vs Signed Native Installer

Im using Flex SDK 4.6 and Flashbuilder 4.6. On windows 7.
If I create a signed native installer, it installs and runs just fine.
If I create a signed air package, it installs but appears to run (i see the process in task manager) but I dont see anything, like it is running invisible.
Anyone got any idea how to troubleshoot this? what could be the cause?
If .air is supposed to run on any PC with AIR runtime, why do we need native installers?
(plain native installer and not the captured runtime). Any tips?

Client Machine requirements to run windows8-style app?

I used Windows8 Release Preview and Visual Studio2012 RC to develop my windows8-style application, And I want to run my application on another machine(client). They have windows8 Release Preview on their machine . So here my question are:
Are they need to install any other software like Visual Studio2012
and .NetFramework4.5 on their machine or not?
Can anyone give me some helpful information related to client's
machine requirements to run metro app successfully?
Thank you.

You can test it with PowerShell, it may require .net framework to install and for detailed information follow the links below.

Check the Edit Section of the answer and the reference video in the another answer for your second query.

Hope this help you explore about the metro app deployment.
You can also configure your machines to do remote debugging if you want. This is useful if your development machine is a traditional laptop or desktop but you want to debug your app running on a slate that has an accelerometer, GPS, multi touch, etc.

Adobe AIR - Output a Mac installer on Windows

Is it possible to output an Adobe Air app Mac installer from Flash CS5 on Windows? I only see an option for a Windows .exe and not for a .dmg file.
Maybe anybody knows of a 3rd party tool for that?
Thanks.
assuming you are talking about native installers, then you're out of luck. native installers must be created on the target OS. it's the same for Flash CS5 on Mac, where we only have the option to make a .dmg native installer.
creating a native installer is possible, and fairly simple, using the AIR SDK and the command line. instructions are readily found online. if you have access to a mac all you need is your compiled .swf, your assets and a copy of the free AIR SDK and you can make one in no time without having to install Flash CS5 for Mac.
