I installed Zend Studio 8.0 and ZendServer-php-5.3.5-5.1.0-Windows_x86.exe.
But I am having problem running a PHP code.
I tried to run the default template DebugDemo.php.
It loads the url
http://localhost/ExampleProject/DebugDemo.php and shows the error:
404 Not Found.
The requested URL /ExampleProject/DebugDemo.php was not found on this server.
I clicked on the icon (Open Zend Server Event list in Browser)
It opens up a web page where at the bottom it states:
The license key is not set. Zend Server will run as Community Edition until a valid license is entered
Have I missed something or gone wrong in configuring zend studio??
The document root is set in the Apache configuration file httpd.conf. It is probably in c:\program files\Zend\Apache\conf\httpd.conf. You will need to change it to C:\Users\Kunal\Zend\workspaces\DefaultWorkspace7.
The license you will need to add under Administration -> License. If you are a ZCE you should have gotten a free one. If you simply downloaded the trial you will need to get a trial license. I believe the link to do that is also on the license page.

I am trying to install the Oracle MySQL Server and Workbench on a server computer running Windows 2008. For some reason I just can't install it - can someone give there opinion on the problem - I am uploading pictures of the installation process.
I downloaded the 32 15.8M version
Agreed
Here is where the first problem appears. The only two options I can actually choose are Default and Custom . i chose Custom because the only thing I can install is MySQL for Excel..
Custom
...
...
And at the end there is nothing installed
After choosing the setup type and product features, Do you get a chance to see the attached screen? with all components downloaded? installation image
If you could see that and click on execute the product must be installed.
-Don't forget to check if
*your account has Admin privileges to install.
*The machine in which you are trying to install has access to internet via installers
-If you still face the problem i would suggest you to download the file of size 230MB and try installation with that.
I installed SSRS on my computer with the file SSDTBI_x86_ENU.exe. I started to create a report server project which contain tow .rdl file. Now I want to deploy it so I can see my reports in the browser. When I click the start button Visual studio give me an error and say that I have to specify a valid URL. So I went to reporting services configuration manager. My problem is when I enter my server name it says invalid namespace!!
Despite taking -2 for this question, I will answer it because I resolve it and hope that will help somebody someday. It is a problem connected to the version of SQL server express with tools. It didn't allow the deployement of rapports. So I uninstall it and install sql server express with advanced services and every thing magically worked.
I feel that the title pretty much speaks for itself. I keep getting a server 500 error when i try to access a page on my site that is using the Access DB.
I created an ODBC (32 bit) Data Source using the driver Driver do Microsoft Access (*.mdb).
I am sure i am using the wrong drivers/IIS configurations. This used to be hosted on an old server and we are trying to move everything over.
Would anyone be able to point me in the right direction? Thanks!
EDIT
I was able to get errors printed to my page. Below is the following error:
Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80004005'
[Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found
and no default driver specified
When I enable 32-bit Applications I get the following error:
HTTP Error 404.17 - Not Found
The requested content appears to be script and will
not be served by the static file handler.
This issue is related to running 32bit applications on a 64bit server. Furthermore, if you have installed something else on it (for example, Outlook Web Access, or OWA for short) it can disrupt the IIS with adding it's 64bit modules to load globally, and that would effectively cause errors on 32bit pools.
The following debugging is assuming you have a requirement to run 32bit ASP application on a 64bit IIS server.
You have to set your application pool to run as 32bit
If the 32bit pool stops right after you make a request for an ASP page, it means that most probably there are 64bit modules failing to load. You need to see which dll is creating the issues by viewing the Windows Event log (eventvwr). Then, one by one, you edit the applicationHost.config file and add preCondition="bitness64" to each module that you see in the eventvwr until you get rid of all the errors in the log.
When finished with step #2, your pool should be working, but your app might not - it will most probably report 404.17, even if there is an ISAPI handler for ASP. When you open IIS, on the left side choose the server and on the right open the ISAPI and CGI restrictions. You will see that there's an ASP entry there (if not - you need to install it as a feature on the server). The ASP might point to something like %windir%\system32\asp.dll, but you need to make another entry. Your appPool is running as 32bit on a 64bit machine (that's shortened as WOW64 = 32bit Windows application running on Windows 64bit - Windows on Windows64), and you need to add an asp from %windir%\SYSWOW64\asp.dll. Also, add the corresponding handler (navigate to handlers, and practically repeat the entry for asp but use the SYSWOW64 folder instead of system32)
This should (finally) get it working.
I have a VB Windows forms application that uses a mysql database to keep track of everything within the application.. The problem that I know will occur is that most of the applications users will not have MYSQL let alone know how to install it properly... To install the application on the users systems I am using the Visual Studio Setup Installer to handle creation of the msi files.. What needs to happen first is the installer needs to check to see if MYSQL is installed on the host system and verify server name.. If true then import database, if not then install followed by import database... The importing is not the issue here... How do I make the installer install mysql with controlled parameters such as server name, etc, etc. Any ideas on this??? I have hammered google for the past 3 hours looking for bread crumbs on this but to no avail...
Usually existing packages (like the MySQL installer) are added as prerequisites. Visual Studio setup projects do not support custom prerequisite creation. However, this can be done by manually generating the required manifests.
You can find the manifests structure here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms229223(VS.80).aspx
These manifests can be generated automatically with the Bootstrapper Manifest Generator tool.
After generating the package manifests, you can add all these files (including the package) in a separate folder in the Visual Studio prerequisites folder, for example:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft SDKs\Windows\v7.0A\Bootstrapper\Packages\
You can then select the prerequisite in your setup project properties page.
Well... that's a good question. The first thing that pops up in my mind:
You could build the check in your application instead of the installer and warn the user about it. If needed, you could provide another installer to make sure everything is available (MySQL and the database itself).
I hope it helps you further.
Yours sincerely,
Roland
I realize that this question has been asked and has been answered here but I am having problems with the slip stream approach and I'm hoping someone else has run into it. I've tried downloading the newest installation guide but the help file appears to be corrupt as it won't open any of the pages so I'm a bit in the dark here.
I rigorously followed the TFS SP 1 slipstream installation instructions but I am running into an error coded TF220059. The error explicitly states:
TF220059: An error occurred while the Setup program was querying the installation settings for Team Foundation Server. For more information about this error, see the installation logs. For more information about the installation logs, see "Troubleshooting Installation for Team Foundation" in the Team Foundation Installation Guide.
which has me confused because as far as I can tell, no one else ran into this while slipstreaming. The results from the error log can be found here. It's claiming that the accounts aren't specified but I created them as specified in this TFS install guide. It is a single server install so there is not a domain controller involved.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, I've been banging my head against the desk over this. Thanks!
EDIT: after a bit of searching, I've found that others have ran into this problem when reporting services aren't installed. Is this required?
To open the installation guide, try right clicking on the downloaded .chm file, click Properties and then press "Unblock". If you then re-open the file, the content should appear.
Regarding SQL Server Reporting Services, yet it is required. If you download the latest version of the TFS Install guide from here:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=FF12844F-398C-4FE9-8B0D-9E84181D9923&displaylang=en
Unblock the file once downloaded, and then take a look at the section for installing SQL Server 2008 it will take you through how to get SQL set up in the way that TFS requires. TFS needs it's pre-requisites to be installed in very particular ways (such as IIS and SQL Server), so it pays to closely follow the install guide to ensure the pre-requisites are installed as required.
Good luck.
