Does anyone know how to make nested server controls accept nested html without "injecting" it out from serverside, ie.
<uc1:CustomServerControl runat="server">
<NestedControl></NestedControl>
<NestedControl2></NestedControl2>
</uc1:CustomServerControl>
but to do this:
<uc1:CustomServerControl runat="server">
<div>
<NestedControl>
</NestedControl>
<NestedControl2></NestedControl2>
</div>
</uc1:CustomServerControl>
Try this:
Section.cs:
[ToolboxData("<{0}:Section runat=\"server\" />")]
public class Section : WebControl, INamingContainer
{

[Browsable(false), PersistenceMode(PersistenceMode.InnerProperty)]

Try this:

The purpose of this basicly is to have a custom Generic tag library, whick in this case will speak to a underlying object model. The objectmodel is responsible for splitting up articles into its respective parts, ie, Headline, blurb, Images, Comments etc. In this case I'm woring with a collection of them, and by specifying the inner tags, you basicly apply a filter onto what parts of the articles in the section you want to see.
<uc1:Section runat="server">
<HeadLine></HeadLine>
<Blurb></Blurb>
<Body></Body>
</uc1:Section>
Based on what the user specify by only tagging whatever he needs, the respective content will then be written to the frontend.
Now this works wonderfully well, except in one or two cases where you actually need some kind of internal structure to each of the individual parts of an article, and then projecting that onto the entire collection, like having a <table> where the headline should go into one <td> and the rest into another <td>
Hope it makes sense!!

i code a plugin for mybatis generator, but in clientGenerated of extends plugin method doesn't work.
please helpe me ~ ^_^
code is in under:
public class MapperAnnotationPlugin extends PluginAdapter {
private final static Map<String, String> ANNOTATION_IMPORTS;
static {
ANNOTATION_IMPORTS = new HashMap<>();
ANNOTATION_IMPORTS.put("#Mapper", "org.apache.ibatis.annotations.Mapper");
ANNOTATION_IMPORTS.put("#Repository", "org.springframework.stereotype.Repository");
}
private List<String> annotationList;
#Override

super.initialized(introspectedTable);
this.annotationList = new ArrayList<>();
Properties properties = this.getProperties();
boolean findMapper = false;
for (Object key : properties.keySet()) {

interfaze.addImportedType(new FullyQualifiedJavaType(ANNOTATION_IMPORTS.get(annotation)));
interfaze.addAnnotation(annotation);
}
}
return true;
}
}
in second method, in debug, it had not go this method, so what could i do in next step
Same problem when I maked a plugin for mybatis-generator-plugin. The method of clientGenerated didnot be callback. It is my way, call from another method which include Interface object.
#Override
public boolean clientCountByExampleMethodGenerated(Method method, Interface interfaze, IntrospectedTable introspectedTable) {
this.clientGenerated(interfaze, null, introspectedTable);
return false;
}
Both generator-core/generator-plugin version is 1.4.0, work fine now.

MVC6 introduces Tag Helpers which is a better way compared to using #Html.EditorFor, etc. However I have not found any Tag Helper that would be an alternative to #Html.DisplayFor.
Of course I can use a variable directly on a Razor page, such as #Model.BookingCode. But this does not allow to control formatting.
With MVC6, what's conceptually correct way for displaying a value of a model property?
#Html.DisplayFor still exists and can still be used.
The difference between HtmlHelpers and TagHelpers is that HtmlHelpers choose which html elements to render for you whereas TagHelpers work with html tags that you add yourself so you have more full control over what html element is used. You do have some control over the markup using templates with HtmlHelpers but you have more control with TagHelpers.
So you should think in terms of what html markup do I want to wrap this model property in and add that markup around the property itself using #Model.Property with some markup around it or continue using DisplayFor if you prefer to let the helper decide.
You can create your own tag helper
namespace MyDemo.TagHelpers
{
[HtmlTargetElement("p", Attributes = ForAttributeName)]
public class DisplayForTagHelper : TagHelper
{
private const string ForAttributeName = "asp-for";
[HtmlAttributeName(ForAttributeName)]
public ModelExpression For { get; set; }
public override void Process(TagHelperContext context, TagHelperOutput output)
{
if (context == null)
{
throw new ArgumentNullException(nameof(context));
}
if (output == null)
{
throw new ArgumentNullException(nameof(output));
}
var text = For.ModelExplorer.GetSimpleDisplayText();
output.Content.SetContent(text);
}
}
}
Add use it in view:
<p asp-for="MyProperty" class="form-control-static"></p>
I have been using this as a display tag helper.
[HtmlTargetElement("*", Attributes = ForAttributeName)]
public class DisplayForTagHelper : TagHelper
{
private const string ForAttributeName = "asp-display-for";
private readonly IHtmlHelper _html;
public DisplayForTagHelper(IHtmlHelper html)
{
_html = html;
}
[HtmlAttributeName(ForAttributeName)]
public ModelExpression Expression { get; set; }
public IHtmlHelper Html
{
get
{
(_html as IViewContextAware)?.Contextualize(ViewContext);
return _html;
}
}
[HtmlAttributeNotBound]
[ViewContext]
public ViewContext ViewContext { get; set; }
public override void Process(TagHelperContext context, TagHelperOutput output)
{
if (context == null)
throw new ArgumentNullException(nameof(context));
if (output == null)
throw new ArgumentNullException(nameof(output));
var type = Expression.Metadata.UnderlyingOrModelType;
if (type.IsPrimitive)
{
output.Content.SetContent(Expression.ModelExplorer.GetSimpleDisplayText());
}
// Special Case for Personal Use
else if (typeof(Dictionary<string, string>).IsAssignableFrom(type))
{
output.Content.SetHtmlContent(Html?.Partial("Dictionary", Expression.ModelExplorer.Model));
}
else
{
var htmlContent = Html.GetHtmlContent(Expression);
output.Content.SetHtmlContent(htmlContent);
}
}
}
public static class ModelExpressionExtensions
{
public static IHtmlContent GetHtmlContent(this IHtmlHelper html, ModelExpression expression)
{
var ViewEngine = html.ViewContext.HttpContext.RequestServices.GetService(typeof(ICompositeViewEngine)) as ICompositeViewEngine;
var BufferScope = html.GetFieldValue<IViewBufferScope>();
var htmlContent = new TemplateBuilder(ViewEngine, BufferScope, html.ViewContext, html.ViewContext.ViewData, expression.ModelExplorer, expression.Name, null, true, null).Build();
return htmlContent;
}
public static TValue GetFieldValue<TValue>(this object instance)
{
var type = instance.GetType();
var field = type.GetFields(BindingFlags.NonPublic | BindingFlags.Static | BindingFlags.Instance).FirstOrDefault(e => typeof(TValue).IsAssignableFrom(e.FieldType));
return (TValue)field?.GetValue(instance);
}
}
try below code
public class movie
{
public int ID { get; set; }
[DisplayName("Movie Title")]
public string Title { get; set; }
}
///////////////////////////////////////////////////
#model IEnumerable<MvcMovie.Models.Movie>
<h1>Show List Movies</h1>

#foreach (var movie in Model)
{
#movie.Title

I have three MvxSpinners in my android view.
These spinners are binded to three different lists.
and Mode of data binding is TwoWay for these spinners.i.e. when this view is
displayed,all of these three spinners are get displayed with the predefined values.
When user change the value in first spinner,then second spinner will be clear and
get loaded with new values based on the selected value in first spinner.
How can I achieve this?
There's many ways to accomplish this, where the code placement is really up to you. Overall the idea would be to have a "SelectedItem" object that you can pass into your method and "Load" the next List.
Please keep in mind that this code is more traditional MVVM, but can easily be converted to MVVMCross equivalent. I believe all these types should be supported by MVVMCross.
private MyFirstObject _selectedFirstObject;
public MyFirstObject SelectedFirstObject
{
get { return _selectedFirstObject; }
set
{
_selectedFirstObject = value;
RaisePropertyChanged("SelectedFirstObject");
if(value != null)
LoadMySecondObjects(value);
}
}
private ObservableCollection<MyFirstObject> _myFirstObjects;
public ObservableCollection<MyFirstObject> MyFirstObjects
{
get { return _myFirstObjects; }
set
{
_myFirstObjects = value;
RaisePropertyChanged("MyFirstObjects");
}
}
private ObservableCollection<MySecondObject> _mySecondObjects;
public ObservableCollection<MySecondObject> MySecondObjects
{
get { return _mySecondObjects; }
set
{
_mySecondObjects = value;
RaisePropertyChanged("MySecondObjects");
}
}
public void LoadMySecondObjects(MyFirstObject current)
{
//Wherever you're pulling data from
MySecondObjects = MyDataService.GetAll(current);
}
protected void RaisePropertyChanged(string propertyName)
{
PropertyChangedEventHandler handler = PropertyChanged;
if (handler != null)
{
handler(this, new PropertyChangedEventArgs(propertyName));
}
}
public event PropertyChangedEventHandler PropertyChanged;
I had the same problem but only if you add null value (as a default value) to your ItemsSource and try to reset SelectedItem to null. SelectedItem is changed in ViewModel but not in the spinner. In that case there's number of solutions but I used message to inform View to set selected item
public class SpinnerSelectionChanged : MvxMessage
{
public SpinnerSelectionChanged(object sender, string spinnerName, int position): base(sender)
{
SpinnerName = spinnerName;
Position = position;
}
public string SpinnerName { get; set; }
public int Position { get; set; }
}
in View
private void OnSpinnerSelectionChanged(SpinnerSelectionChanged obj)
{
switch (obj.SpinnerName)
{
case "City":
_spinnerCity.SetSelection(obj.Position);
break;
case "Office":
_spinnerOffice.SetSelection(obj.Position);
break;
}
}
This is my first post here. I am trying to create a singly link list. I am using AtEnd and AtStart methods to insert values at the end or in the beginning of the list and using display method to print all the values. The insertion methods seems to be working fine (at least I think so) but whenever I call display method it shows only the first value and then there is a null pointer exception. For example when I run this code I see only 9 and then there is the NPE despite the fact that I have put a check on the display method for "not null".
class node {
private int data;
private node next;
node() {
}
node(int data) {
this.data = data;
this.next = null;
}
public int getData() {
return data;
}
public void setData(int data) {
this.data=data;
}
public node getNext() {
return next;
}
public void setNext(node next) {
this.next = next;
}
}
public class list extends node {
node head;
list() {
}
public void AtStart(int val) {
node n = new node(val);
if (head == null) {
head=n;
} else {
n.setNext(head);
int temp = head.getData();
head.setData(val);
n.setData(temp);
//n = head;
}
}
public void AtEnd(int val) {
if (head == null) {
node n = new node(val);
head = n;
} else {
node t = head;
for(; t.getNext() != null; ) {
if(t.getNext() == null) {
t.setNext(new node (val));
}
t = t.getNext();
}
}
}
public void display() {
node t = head;
for(; t.getNext() == null;) {
if (t !=null) {
System.out.println(t.getData());
t = t.getNext();
}
}
}
}
public static void main(String args[]) {
list l = new list();
l.AtStart(16);
l.AtEnd(6);
l.AtEnd(36);
l.AtStart(9);
l.AtEnd(22);
l.display();
}
i dont get what your AtStart function does, it should be much simpler:
public void AtStart(int val){
if(head==null){
head=n;
}
else{
head.setnext(head);
head.setData(val);
}
}
I have added a document listener to a JTextPane. I want to know what text has been added or removed so I can take action if certain key words are entered. The insert part works just fine, but I do not know how to detect what text was deleted.
The insert works because the text is there and I can select it, but the delete has already removed the text so I get bad location exceptions sometimes.
I want to make reserved words that are not inside quotes bold so I need to know what has been removed, removing even one character (like a quote) could have a huge impact.
My code follows:
#Override
public void insertUpdate(DocumentEvent e)
{
Document doc = e.getDocument();
String i = "";
try
{
i = doc.getText(e.getOffset(), e.getLength());
}
catch(BadLocationException e1)
{
e1.printStackTrace();
}
System.out.println("INSERT:" + e + ":" + i);
}
#Override
public void removeUpdate(DocumentEvent e)
{
Document doc = e.getDocument();
String i = "";
try
{
i = doc.getText(e.getOffset(), e.getLength());
}
catch(BadLocationException e1)
{
e1.printStackTrace();
}
System.out.println("REMOVE:" + e + ":" + i);
}
This is strange that there is no simple way to get this information.
I've looked at the source code of Swing libraries for this. Of course - there is this information in DocumentEvent, which is of class AbstractDocument$DefaultDocumentEvent, which contains protected Vector<UndoableEdit> edits, which contains one element of type GapContent$RemoveUndo, which contains protected String string that is used only in this class (no other "package" classes get this) and this RemoveUndo class have no getter for this field.
Even toString didn't show it (because RemoveUndo hasn't overrided toString method):
[javax.swing.text.GapContent$RemoveUndo#6303ddfd hasBeenDone: true alive: true]
This is so strange for me that I belive that there is some other easy way to get the removed string and that I just don't know how to accomplish it.
One thing you can do is the most obvious:
final JTextArea textArea = new JTextArea();
textArea.addKeyListener(new KeyAdapter() {
#Override
public void keyPressed(KeyEvent e) {
previousText = textArea.getText();
}
});
textArea.getDocument().addDocumentListener(new DocumentListener() {
#Override
public void removeUpdate(DocumentEvent e) {
if(previousText != null) {
String removedStr = previousText.substring(e.getOffset(), e.getOffset() + e.getLength());
System.out.println(removedStr);
}
}
#Override
public void insertUpdate(DocumentEvent e) {
}
#Override
public void changedUpdate(DocumentEvent e) {
}
});
where previousText is an instance variable.
or (the most nasty ever):
textArea.getDocument().addDocumentListener(new DocumentListener() {
#Override
public void removeUpdate(DocumentEvent e) {
String removedString = getRemovedString(e);
System.out.println(removedString);
}
#Override
public void insertUpdate(DocumentEvent e) {
}
#Override
public void changedUpdate(DocumentEvent e) {
}
});
plus this method:
public static String getRemovedString(DocumentEvent e) {
try {
Field editsField = null;
Field[] fields = CompoundEdit.class.getDeclaredFields();
for(Field f : fields) {
if(f.getName().equals("edits")) {
editsField = f;
break;
}
}
editsField.setAccessible(true);
List edits = (List) editsField.get(e);
if(edits.size() != 1) {
return null;
}
Class<?> removeUndo = null;
for(Class<?> c : GapContent.class.getDeclaredClasses()) {
if(c.getSimpleName().equals("RemoveUndo")) {
removeUndo = c;
break;
}
}
Object removeUndoInstance = edits.get(0);
fields = removeUndo.getDeclaredFields();
Field stringField = null;
for(Field f : fields) {
if(f.getName().equals("string")) {
stringField = f;
break;
}
}
stringField.setAccessible(true);
return (String) stringField.get(removeUndoInstance);
}
catch(SecurityException e1) {
e1.printStackTrace();
}
catch(IllegalArgumentException e1) {
e1.printStackTrace();
}
catch(IllegalAccessException e1) {
e1.printStackTrace();
}
return null;
}
I had the same problem than you. And what Xeon explained help me a lot too. But after, i found a way to do that. In my case, i created a custom StyledDocument class that extends DefaultStyledDocument:
public class CustomStyledDocument extends DefaultStyledDocument
{
public CustomStyledDocument () {
super();
}
#Override
public void insertString(int offset, String string, AttributeSet as) throws BadLocationException {
super.insertString(offset, string, as);
}
#Override
public void remove(int offset, int i1) throws BadLocationException {
String previousText = getText(offset, i1);
super.remove(offset, i1);
}
}
So if you call getText method before you call super.remove(...), you will get the previous text.
