I make unity game and I need icons.
I think that font awesome icons are the best.
How to get .png files of these icons?
I can't put css in unity game.
I tried to download other icons, but these images are bad.
Here is the python script to convert fontawesome icons into png with some custom needs like size, pixels and colors ... please find the below github link to know more...
https://github.com/odyniec/font-awesome-to-png
For all PHP developers !
This one helps me a lot :
https://github.com/exiang/php-font-awesome-to-png
Especially for font-awesome , developer can modify icons.data.php and can add his custom code into icons.data.php file and generate the image !
This script can also work with other Fonts , we just need to find out cheat-sheet and load it on icons.data.php file , this script will automatically generate the icons.

Is there an HTML code for this character? If there is, can you all let me know what it is? If there is no HTML code for this character, can you let me know what this glyph is called? I had been looking all over the place for it, and today I happened to stumble upon it.
Most icon libraries use a variant of "share" as the terminology for this icon.
Here are a couple of examples :
Material Design Icons calls it share.
AntDesign calls it share-alt
That is the share icon. I think FontAwesome has it, or if you want exactly like that you can search for it on FlatIcon.
Link for FlatIcon
Something that I usually do is getting all the icons that I will use on the project and make it into a font. I use this service to help me with that: https://icomoon.io/app/
I think it's called a SHARE ICON

I'm working on redesigning my small business website, so i figured, why not learn something while doing it! :p
Anyways... I am trying to get my logo into the HTML.
The --free and open-source... I might add-- template I used had a placeholder glyph that looks dang good. I cannot find out how to add my logo by making it a glyph. I have a SVG/AI/png/etc of my logo, but cannot figure out how to easily edit the font file to add glyphs.
I currently have it set as an image, but since this template updates sizes of things if u r on desktop, vs mobile, it doesn't look right.
I got it to kinda work with the BirdFont app to edit the font, but then when I edited it, all of the other glyphs went away, and the sizes were off.
With the pre-installed glyphs, you summon a glyph by:
<span class="glyphicon glyphicon-GLYPH_NAME_HERE"></span>
Also, in BirdFont, i couldn't edit the name that goes to glyphicon-GLYPH_NAME_HERE, so i just edited one of them that I know i won't be using.
TL:DR; What's an easy, quick, reliable way to edit a font file, containing glyphs, to add my logo -- as a glyph?
Thanks so much!
You may try Fontastic, which allows you to create fonts with lots of vector icons from multiple sources, and add your own icons (Add more Icons -> Import icons) from SVG files or SVG fonts.
edit the glyphicon css file for a glyph that you aren't using, and set that value to your new image.

In Notepad++, there is no syntax highlighting for CSS inside a HTML file. Is it possible to enable it?
This question has been answered in superuser Different Language Syntax Highlighting. To sum it up, np++ does not support this feature with HTML and CSS, but it does with HTML and JS. There are a few links in the responses to the question which should be helpful in finding a tool that does support multiple languages.
My suggestion is to go to np++ and request the feature. If enough of us do it then maybe they will pay attention.
I always just create a second np++ file and mark the language as CSS, then once I'm done copy it over to the HTML file. :)
May not answer your exact question, but that's the way I work around it.
Try another editor similar to Notepad++, SynWrite, it has such a CSS feature.

Somebody know where I can download archive with W3C web site within latest updates for CSS3 and HTML5 specifications?
If no.. Where i can download good docs about new CSS3 properties?
Big thanks and sorry for bad english ;)
+ to answers: https://github.com/w3c
Take a look at: http://www.w3.org/Style/CSS/specs.en.html
You can see the status of each Module and read whichever ones are most relevant today. Additionally you can print an individual module or you can print the entire CSS 2.1 by downloading it, you have a few options, e.g.
This document is also available in these non-normative formats: plain text, gzip'ed tar file, zip file, gzip'ed PostScript, PDF. See also translations.
http://www.w3.org/TR/CSS2/
Its in your best interest to stick to learning from http://w3.org only - try to avoid other sources when possible (thats just my preference, YPMV)
Also check out http://www.w3.org/standards/techs/css#w3c_all for an easier way to visualize which specs are past the Candidate Recommendation stage.

I am working on a site, and I am looking for basic profile icons such as:
http://akcdn.okccdn.com/media/img/icons/home_new_user_guide.png
I would use those, but I am sure those are typewritten.
Where would I be able to find similar icons that I can use for an open source project?
Thanks :)
Smashing Magazine has semi-regular free icon roundups, including icons in a wide variety of styles. They're also under a wide variety of licenses, so make sure you check before using one.
FindIcons is a great site where you can find all icons that you need in almost any format and any size (may vary). And you can sort search results by color, icon style, license etc. enjoy!
iconfinder.net is my go-to. It's been around forever.
