I deleted a version of a library, and now I'm getting the error "Library with identifier XXXXX is missing (perhaps it was deleted?)". I am also unable to remove the reference to the library. My code now won't run due to the aforementioned error. How can I resolve this?
I figured out how to accomplish this.
1. I need to be owner of the project that has the reference I'm trying to remove
2. Backup the code
3. In Script editor, open the project that has the reference I'm trying to remove
4. Select File - Delete Project
5. Close Script Editor
6. Create a new project, and import the previous code
7. Select Resources - Library to re-add the reference to the library

Trying to add Newton.json & Restsharp in SSIS's Script task. But while adding I am getting a warning message also the script not working. An attached screenshot will add more points to this question.
These SSIS script projects are temporary, so anything you install via them (that is nested under them) disappears each time you exit the project. Any third party .dlls need to be in a shared area and registered via gacutil and then the reference put in the temporary project instead of installed in the temporary project.
basically opening this question again because the answer is outdated, as the link now redirects to Firebase:
Gradle fails building with "Missing project_info object"
I want to attach the google-services.json file to my Android Studio project, and every time I try to download it from the developers API from Google, it gives me a json file with a large name that does't correspond to the tutorial's simple "google-services" and renaming it won't work because of this error.
Downloading it creating a new project doesn't seem possible for me now as it the page gives me another error when I click Configure a Project (I already did that before but left the project there without downloading the json file directly from there, which seems to be the problem).
Where can I safely get this file, and should I rename it or? Thanks in advance.
Apparently the solution is just following the link and creating the project with Firebase:
Then create or select a project and fill it with your app data that shoul look like this (the SHA-1 key should be found in your console log when clicking the button in the image:
Then add the lines of code that should be in your build.gradle(app level one and project level one), editing them with notepadd. Finally you need to sync these Gradle files, in Android Studio : File->Sync project with Gradle Files
The tutorial is very self explatanory, but for beginners like me, this could help.
I am using FreshPlanet KeyboardSize ANE in my project. I have successfully added to my project but when I run
MeasureKeyboard.getInstance().setKeyboardAdjustNothing();
I get the following error.
ArgumentError: Error #3500: The extension context does not have a method with the name setKeyboardAdjustNothing.
at flash.external::ExtensionContext/_call()
at flash.external::ExtensionContext/call()
at com.freshplanet.ane.KeyboardSize::MeasureKeyboard/setKeyboardAdjustNothing()e
How can I fix this?
Thanks.
Make sure both your Application-app.xml from the src and from your bin-debug folder contain the NAME_OF_THE_EXTENSION_ID tag matching exactly what is being called in your ExtensionContext.createExtensionContext(NAME_OF_THE_EXTENSION_ID,null) inside the source code of the ANE. If they don't match you'll not be able to set the external context in the initialization. That should also match the alias from your RemoteClass descriptor before the class declaration. I hope it's helpful info.
In my case what happened was that MSVCR (Microsoft visual c++ redistribution) was missing which is required to run c++ code.
Because the code in the extension was not able to run, the app could not find any function included in the ANE.
Make sure the code of your ANE is able of running either by writing logs or by running some sample native code independently.
We have a requirement of creating several Windows 8 apps for tablets. There is a common solution and news apps are created by passing different resource to the same code.
For Mobile it was a cakewalk - Used the Microsoft.Build.Evaluation.Project class to get the xap file.
But for Surface, building from code does not give the direct appx output, while building using MSBuild gives appx as the output.
I tried several methods to avoid calling MSBuild from C#(by creating a Command Process) like creating a zip file - myapp.appx - and then signing it using this c++ code. It didn't workout because of an extern reference and I gave up.
Then I tried to use SignTool.exe by creating a Command Process in C#. That too failed.
So, I am wondering if there is any way to build an appx directly from C# without MSBuild.
The reason why I am trying to avoid MSBuild is to get a status from the build process, which Microsoft.Build.Evaluation.Project.Build() provides.
First try adding a pfx key to your project and then try the build via Microsoft.Build.Evaluation.Project.Build() again. The pfx is required from what I read:
See Candy's answer here:
MSBuild target to create the .appx package
So then the trick would be to use SignTool to get the pfx in the first place and update the project with that pfx, but first see if the above works.
I've been looking for an answer to this for a bit now but couldn't find anything. I was wondering if it is possible to add an existing file to the project created under the script task in an SSIS package. What I want to be able to do is to add one file called Helper or Utility to the solution and then add that file to all the script tasks for common functions. This is so if I change the class, it gets pushed through to all script tasks.
I know that I can add a reference to a DLL and add it to the GAC. I have tried this and it works. I've also tried adding the file to the projects and that works too.
This is just another solution that I'm trying, just in case I'm not able to deploy the DLL in prod. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.
Firstly you need a master copy of your classes, you can copy them from an existing Script Task using the same process below but in reverse.
Open the Editor for the Script Task and on the Property Explorer click on the Project File (the st_[Guid] ), in the Properties window you’ll see the Project Folder location. (This location gets recreated every time you edit the script task)
In explorer, copy your classes to this folder
On the Project Explorer, click on the “Show All Files” icon
Right click on your files and add to Project
You can use regular VS functionality for linking files:
Right click your script project
Add > Existing item...
Select files to be included in your project
In the bottom right corner of the Open file dialog box you have a drop-down with 2 options: "Add" or "Add As Link" - select the latter one and you are done (see image below)
We can not use relative path after adding pages using Add link. Each user need to correct the path before running the project. The script task uses its own path.it doesn't run from package path which is the problem.
