Access SSRS 2016 New Reporting Portal - reporting-services

I have been trying out the SQL Server CTP 3.1 for a while. For a couple a weeks ago Microsoft released CTP 3.2 (http://blogs.msdn.com/b/sqlrsteamblog/archive/2015/12/17/introducing-mobile-reports-and-a-brand-new-web-portal.aspx) which should include the new Reporting Portal and the possibility to use the new Mobile Reports feature.
I have successfully upgraded my CTP 3.1 installation to 3.2. For some reason I cannot see/access the link to "Preview the new Reporting Services"
Microsoft indicated that the link to the preview of the new portal should be found in the upper left hand corner of the Reporting Portal. But I there is nothing visual to me.
SSRS Reporting Portal
Has anyone tried it out and successfully launched the preview of the new portal? Am I missing some setting?

I found a solution. By trigger an update of the Report Manager URL I succeeded to get the preview portal working. It seemed like the preview URL was not created in the update, for some reason..
Navigate to Reporting Services Configuration Manager
Go to "Report Manager URL"
Change the virtual directory to someting else, click "Apply". Let the configuration manager to its thing. After complete, you can change back to the original value (Reports) again (and press Apply).
This should do the trick!

You can go directly to the preview portal:
http://<server>/reports_preview
as per MSDN

VS2022 - report project incompatible with current version of Visual Studio

Finally saw that there is "Microsoft Reporting Services Projects 2022" available for VS2022, which should by idea work as a report designer and open the existing reports. But it turns out all of the report projects now are unsupported/incompatible due to new version of VS. If the VS2019 will be installed, there everything will work.
And migration report is not very informative:
The application which this project type is based on was not found. Please try this link for further information: https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=661331&projecttype=F14B399A-7131-4C87-9E4B-1186C45EF12D
Any ideas how to make them work in VS2022? Maybe someone had similar experience?
Solution:
Thanks to the posted suggestion (marked green) managed to install 'Microsoft Reporting Services Projects' Version 3.0.1, which was crucial on VS2019, instead of the 'Microsoft Reporting Services Projects 2022'. That fixed my reporting issue, but due to outdated reporting solution. Probably will need to update it to newer one to avoid such legacy workarounds.
If you'd like to have early access to VS2022 release candidate builds before they are published to the VS Gallery, we’re making available to give customers an opportunity to provide feedback prior to finalizing releases. To access the release candidate of the extensions in Visual Studio, you may do so by creating a “private gallery” and entering the following settings.
Navigate to Tools > Options and then select Extensions and Updates under General.
Under "Additional Extension Galleries", enter the following details:
Name: Microsoft BI VSIX Preview
URL: http://aka.ms/ProBI-VSIX2022
After entering these settings, your "Extensions and Updates" dialog will show updates for the extension when there is a new release candidate that you can install to provide feedback for a day or two before the VS Gallery VSIX is updated.

I faced a similar issue. I was working on my reports, closed VS2022 and trying to re-open the project, it was shown as "incompatible".
Go to Extensions -> Manage Extension -> Installed
In my case the 'Microsoft Reporting Services Projects' was disabled. Re-enable it, then close and re-open VS2022. If the project is still shown as "incompatible", reload it and it should solve the issue.

SSRS configuration

I installed SSRS on my computer with the file SSDTBI_x86_ENU.exe. I started to create a report server project which contain tow .rdl file. Now I want to deploy it so I can see my reports in the browser. When I click the start button Visual studio give me an error and say that I have to specify a valid URL. So I went to reporting services configuration manager. My problem is when I enter my server name it says invalid namespace!!
Despite taking -2 for this question, I will answer it because I resolve it and hope that will help somebody someday. It is a problem connected to the version of SQL server express with tools. It didn't allow the deployement of rapports. So I uninstall it and install sql server express with advanced services and every thing magically worked.

How can I ensure that these reports are appearing or can be seen on SQL Server Reporting Services(SSRS) URL?

I am new to SSRS. I have developed some reports using BIDS using SQL Server Reporting Services(SSRS) when I run them from my machine reports are running ok. But there are not appearing from SQL Server Reporting Services(SSRS). Even when I open SQL Server Reporting Services(SSRS) in a web broswer
I can not see the reports on SSRS. How can I ensure that these reports are appearing or can be seen on SQL Server Reporting Services(SSRS) URL?
Please help.
Have you deployed them?
Right-Click on the report and go to Deploy
or
In the Build menu select "Deploy projectname"
You may have to set the project properties first for TargetServerURL to something like
http://SSRSserver/reportserver
They can be found in the Project menu under "projectname Properties"
There are two options to deploy your reports on server -
1] You can directly deploy it from your VS by right clicking on your report & selecting deploy option, here you need to mention target server -
http://[server name]/ReportServer
2] If you are able to access report server then web browser provide one option to upload your reports. So you can upload your report directly on report server (.rdl file). Here you need to set proper connnection string & permission rights to access the report.
Hope this will help you..!!

rsAccessDenied Report Server

I'm trying to get SQL Server Report Manager to work. I'm on windows 7, 64 bit, installed SQL Server Developer with everything included. Every service for MSSQLSERVER is running, IIS is running.
I go to localhost/reportmanager and get a rsAccessDenied message. I've looked at almost every website on this problem, but only found useless answers. Answers like "disable anonymous users in IIS" (what? No.) and always this thing about doing stuff in report manager. I don't have report manager, I have BIDS.
I try as follows: I'm an administrator, still, I run IE as administrator. I'm prompted for my credentials. I use my credentials for my current account, get rsAccessDenied message.
To make the Report Manager work under Windows 7, I had to add the registry key:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System]
"LocalAccountTokenFilterPolicy"=dword:00000001
Now, the local administrator can login to localhost/reports.
Also, see:
http://geekswithblogs.net/bjones/archive/2005/05/01/38818.aspx
BIDS is a Visual Studio plug-ins to handle BI projects.
You do have Report Manager if you have installed the SSRS services.
First off, have you activated the SSRS install by running the Report Server Config utility?
Second, have you configured SSRS for WIn Vista/Win 7?
Also, last time I looked the default is
/Reports is Report Manager
/RportServer is the underlying web service that both Report Manager and VS use
Why do you say "I haven't got Report Manager" and then proceed to launch a URL with "ReportManager" in it?
