This is potentially a very stupid question and i'm likely to word it terrible so please be kind. I was wondering how some sites have pages before the domain, i.e. if my domain is 'www.example.com' then some sites have pages at url's such as 'test.example.com' could anyone tell me how i'd create a page like this?
(A real world example would be that the domain 'http://lolesports.com/' has the page 'http://euw.lolesports.com/')
Those are not pages, they are called subdomains. You should ask your web hosting provider how to do it.
What you are talking about is not a web page, it's a subdomain. A subdomain does not depend on your server but on the registrar of the URL.
To do that, you need to get an URL and see with your registrar how to set up a subdomain.

Sorry if the title is confusing but I'll try to explain what I mean.
I was wondering how I can add a "sub-website" (in my words) when buying a domain.
For example, the main website is google.com, and the sub-website is maps.google.com.
Is this possible without buying another domain?
Okay buddy you need to go to your WEB HOSTING site and login to your cpanel and you'll find a link called sub domains. that's it you can put a sub domain in there!

Trying to connect to bookdepository.com I occasionally notice that I get redirected through some shady affiliate link before landing on the site. I type the domain in the address bar and hit enter, the call first goes through a domain called www.httpslink.me then redirected to go.magik.ly then to awin affiliate network and finally to bookdepository. Here's a screenshot of the initial request:
I'm trying to figure out why this happens. You can see that while the request URL is bookdepository the contacted host is httpslink.me. My question is what determines the host that will be contacted. I logged the network traffic through chrome://net-export/ and there is no mention of an initial request to bookdepository, it goes straight to httpslink.me

Is there possible if the website is built on WordPress and hosted on domain (example.com) and if I want to create one landing page which should be built with HTML/CSS but will be the host on same subdomain (example.com/example)? if yes how to do it?
You can install WordPress in the example folder and it will run quite happily from there without interfering with what's in the top-level. Just have to make sure that the WordPress Address (URL) and Site Address (URL) in the General Settings include the folder too - ie, http://example.com/example
As a proof of concept, have a look at https://www.pad-fairs.com - the top-level index is a stand-alone index.php file (but could be .html - I just use php to change the date order of the links) and each of the 3 sub sites are separate installs of WordPress in their own folders.
Hope that helps

I have a stupid question which I can't find the answer. If I download a video or a music with IDM from the site with name X, the owner can see if I downloaded the video? Is there any way to track it? Thank you
Yes the owner of the website you are downloading from can track the traffic and which files you downloaded. That doesn't necessarily mean that they does it because a system that does that will probably have to be set up manually (depending on hosting service).

Port 80 is forwarded to a server on my network which has links to the different projects I'm working on, how could I allow people to connect to the server running on my laptop when I'm using it? I would obviously not prefer to change my router settings frequently to port forward to my laptop. I want the user to access my domain and maybe have a set of links which will be described as static and another set which will have a description cautioning the user that said links will only work when I am online and they would somehow redirect to my laptop. (Lamp Server)
Well, if I understood correctly your question, you should configure your laptop as a reverse proxy for your main server.
As you said, you should have a set of links which will redirect to your laptop (via reverse proxy config), but of course these links will work only when your laptop is available.
